Event though we begin the process of saying goodbye to Grandpa Ed today, I want to thank the Lord for the renewal of life going on all around us. Thankful for the renewal of body and mind we will enjoy once we meet Jesus. As my mind is racing through themes of Easter, I am drawn to think about the rebirth of my own heart and mind. I prayerfully pursue to not fall back to where I was or to be content to maintain where I am now. I don't want to be merely satisfied with my heart change, I want others to FEEL the restorative, transformative, life altering wave of peace and joy only Jesus can provide. I want others to KNOW what it's like to be following and adhering to an almighty Father like Jesus, so that when life gets messy, they can test and approve (Romans 12:2) God's good, pleasing, and PERFECT will for your life. I heard this quote on Christian Family Radio, "God loves you the way we are, but He loves you too much to leave you that way". I'm like any other twenty-something momma and wife, things get messy in all of our lives. I hope that others see that I do not have my life together, but I know it's all going to come together because it's in God hands.
