Now, she could finally turn her attention to her giant puppy like friend who was positively vibrating with energy. âWonpil-ah~! Iâm home!â Vic called with gigantic smile, âand I bought some snacks! Help me carry them?â She offered a shopping bag in his general direction. âAlso why horror movies?! Why?? Youâre bad with them too!â
Knowingly his best friend, Q was probably out buying some food from the supermarket on the way home. Some fruit, vegetables, maybe some nutritional meats -- and tteokbokki. Because he knew her, and he would definitely bug her about it. Because at this moment, he knew that's exactly what she would be picking up. Not from his ability, but because he knew her so well.
[ sent to â ę˝ ëë â⥠] you better be getting me some tteok too [ sent to â ę˝ ëë â⥠] and i know, thats why i picked it, dummy [ sent to â ę˝ ëë â⥠] i can't handle it either but hey [ sent to â ę˝ ëë â⥠] fuck it
He couldn't help but laugh at his own reply, shaking his head as he thought of her pouting face and her stomping her foot like a little girl pulling a tantrum, then complaining to her manager that this was her life and that everyone bullies her.
The male quickly headed out to the gate, where he stopped and sat down at the gate keeper, talking to them with his vibrant attitude. He waited for the van to pull up before he said his goodbyes and headed out of the box to get up to Vic. Her voice rung out and with that he couldn't help but smile, waddling over to the frail figure.
Her request made his lips pan out in a thin line, shaking his head. "You're a big girl. You can carry it!" He teased, laughing and taking all of the bags from her instead of just the one. "C'mon." He offered his arm for her to take as they walked up toward their building.
"Because I want to!" He cooed, snickering and adding on, "Because I like the adrenaline, Vi nuna. It makes me feel alive!"

ten minutes quickly passes and jaehyung quickly excuses himself. he clocks out a few minutes late, changes into his baggy black coat that now covers the light gray cardigan he added as he says his goodbyes to his coworkers. he immediately hooks arms with wonpil and they begin walking. to where? he doesnât know.
âletâs go get coffee and reunite ourselves!â
it was one of those friendships where you could be gone for years on end, just like this, and come back as if they'd been communicating this whole time. one of those real friendships, where the two had this natural link that could never be seperated. perhaps it was just because the two had come to be more mature, or perhaps it was because of how their personalities clicked, but regardless, it was something wonpil really enjoyed.
as a teacher, wonpil really didn't have the chance to show off his fashion sense. while it wasn't magazine worthy, it was enough to get him some attention on his off days, where he often would get several people asking for his name and number due to how good he looked. he deinitely was not the same as he was in high school, with -- of course as jaehyung had just coincidentally brought up -- that 'ugly pink arygle sweater' he wore to graduation portraits.
"i thought it looked good!" he whined, laughing a bit with a small nudge to the smaller male. he pursed his lips as he glanced over the other, looking over how damn attractive he was. he had really grown. he had always felt a little attracted to the other in high school, but always for his smile and personality, not much more. now it was everything, he'd assume.
"i figured at some point it would come and haunt me, other than when i walk around my house and see the picture." he grumbled, snickering to himself.
it had passed and he had checked out a few things that the fashion consultant he had reuinted with had helped him pick out. almost as soon as he had finished paying and walked away from the register, a younger pair of arms had linked with his and tugged him along. he laughed, following suit and alongside the other in anticipation.
"most definitely. which shop are we going to?"

advchungha:
âOppa? Oppa, are you there?â she still insists, even with calling out for Wonpil, as if believing that her words could somehow reach to him; she doesnât know, but they do. Chungha stops for a moment to look around, checking if the noise made by her might cause stirring in any of the neighboring dorms. As the coast seems clean, she resumes knocking then briefly stops to consider texting the other. Given that his phone was closed, that was counterproductive, so the girl continued to insist for a little while longer.,âYah, if youâre there and youâre not answering, Iâm just going to ask the warden to give me the spare key!â
Wonpil was truly in his worst state. He truly could never imagine himself in such a state but he felt as if he had no control of it considering everything that has happened to him. He had no motivation to eat or drink or do anything, but when he got up to shower (because he HAD to keep good hygiene, because you know... fuck actually living, you have to die clean though) he always snuck himself a little drink or nibble or two. A part of him truly didn't care about himself, but the other part of him felt as if he had to in the sake of his friends that actually sorta cared -- if they existed. Which he had also doubted.
And now there was one of them standing out at the door trying to get in. Perhaps she was just there because she forgot something at his house or had needed some money or something, like several people had asked him (knowing that he never really had the guts to say no). So now he was waiting for her to perhaps get annoyed/bored and leave from him not responding.
But of course, she had gone a bit further and pushed for him to open the door. But even with this new found threat, he ade no movement, but instead, curling up more in his bed and shutting his eyes in effort to go back to sleep. He didn't have time for this. She wasn't going to do it, and he knew she wouldn't. She had no reason to get this key and had no way to get it without a real convincing story. Wonpil was always happy. The warden wouldn't have thought anything was wrong with good jolly old beanstalk Wonpil.

advchungha:
Her options were limited compared to Wonpilâs and her ability wouldnât be of any use in trying to figure where exactly the other was. Thus, Chungha thinks up of the places that the two of them hung out at, both within the foundation and outside of it, though her first destination is the most logical place to start out from: Wonpilâs dorm. Sat in front of the door of room D6 in the Co-Ed Hall, she inhaled deeply before knocking, âOppa, are you there? Itâs me, Chungha.â
Chungha was a bright soul needed in Wonpil's life, and he truly wouldn't know what he would have done without her.
He only had a few women in his life that he actually checked up on and loved with all of his heart and cared for more than he did himself, and this woman was one of them. A woman he found himself opening up so easily to and a woman he felt he could do anything and talk about anything to, regardless of how 'boring' it may be to the general public.
But he had never felt this down when it came to life before. He was always very content with his life and never had anything to deal with or complain about, but lately, he's been at his lowest. He didn't feel as if he could go to anyone, regardless of how close he was to any of them, because he always had this feeling that he was a nuisance to their daily life and wouldn't like to rain on  their parade. He always thought of others first, and never thought twice about doing so.
He hadn't been to work in a while. Called in 'sick with the flu' for the past week or so, and hadn't charged his phone for anyone to get a hold of him in the past few days. Didn't matter, though -- no one would care enough to want to try to contact him. He didn't want anyone to worry about his loss of appetite or the feeling of wanting to collapse every time he moved. He didn't think they would care.
He almost felt sorry that he didn't communicate the people that did care, but he felt in the same time that this wasn't anyone. Soo he continued his few days of laying in his bed not moving except to go shower and drink some water. He had no appetite, but forced himself to drink because he didn't completely want to die yet.
One of those days, he felt the knock on the door and shut his eyes, in hopes that he could somehow pull off trying to map off where she was exactly and what she was doing, but he was way too weak to do so. He buried his face further, shaking his head and mumbling, "Ha, go home."

Victoria adored hanging out with him. Suddenly an idea struck her and she turned to her manager, âOppa! Stop by the next mart, please! I need to buy some things. Itâs not for me,â she added hastily seeing his look, âyou know I donât eat snacks when working. I just want to buy some vegetables and fruit. Healthy things~!â She blew him a kiss as he nodded and sent one last text to her favourite person.
[ msg ⢠ĺźĺź ⥠] letâs have a movie night~!!
Wonpil could never bring himself to think of how exhausted he was and to whine about to to anyone else. He always withheld his feelings from the other people because he didn't want to seem like he was pulling all the attention to himself, but today was way more chaotic than the previous. He started to head toward his home on the area of Daybreak, one of which he had met one of his best friends at.
Speak of the devil -- his best friend, Victoria.
A woman he basically grew up with in Daybreak. A beauty if he had ever seen one, texting him about how he was cute. Of course he was quick to reply, because regardless of how tired he was, he always had time and energy for her.
[ sent to â ę˝ ëë ] Â Not today, Vivi â Â but now you have!! But itâs okay, because I know already. Â ă ă ă ă !!! Can I come over?
He knew the woman would say yes. He was a person she never said no to. In this sense, he felt as if he could do whatever he wanted to when it came to her, unless it was completely reckless. The boy quickly got the reply back and the quick ding of his phone made him smile as he entered his apartment.
[ sent to â ę˝ ëë ] Yay!!! I will come right now to meet you.
[ sent to â ę˝ ëë ] Please?? I want to watch scary movies again, Vivi.
The male's request one something that often happened when they had movie nights, because his favorite thing was to get scared with someone even more scared than he was. He had been heading out to the front gate in this moment, stuffing his phone in his pocket and heading out to the front, where he awaited for the woman in the van he knew fairly well, as he often would walk her up to their apartment, being it was in the same building.
Seeing her was often his favorite part of the day, and today was no different.
[text] Did I tell you today that youâre the most adorable?
[ sent to â ę˝ ëë ]  Not today, Vivi â  but now you have!! But itâs okay, because I know already. ă ă ă ă !!! Can I come over?Â

âhey, i have the perfect idea. i get off work in like, ten minutes so we can go for coffee and catch up? unless you have something to do?â the last sentence comes out as a question since heâs unsure of what wonpil has planned for the day. either way, jaehyung wants to throw himself into the plans wholeheartedly. itâs been a long time since heâs seen highschool friends.
the male smiled at the others rather quick clap of excitement and the bright expression on the others face. a cute little face masked with an even cuter expression now filled his vision and he didn't want to see anything else, listening to the entheusiastic kid in front of him. he could listen to him nonstop, but that would be weird if he didn't say anything back.
"Oh man, you--" he laughed when the other had swore, chuckling as he shook his head and placed his hands on his hips to listen to the other. "I've been fine, how are you?" He started, unable to hold in a laugh as he was brought to the attention of his height, "Oh? Just a little?" It was true, though, that Wonpil was always the smallest of the bunch until lately. "You changed a lot, too, Jae." He cooed, looking the other up and down. Checking him out? Yeah.
"Oh an, I didn't have a choice!" He couldn't contain his little giggle, examining the others height. It was true, the other had now become smol next to him. Which was good... for Wonpil, at least.
"Ten minutes? That's perfect." Wonpil agreed, giving a charming smile to the shorter. "I have no plans! It's my day off, so. I can wait ten minutes!" It was sure that they hadn't been together in a while and so it would be great to catch up, especially with someone who glo'd up as much as him. "I'll just walk around and shop for a little until you're done?" Wonpil tilted his head, running his hand through his hair. "I do need some more clothes -- that's why I came here, anyway."
Which was almost true. Almost.

how did wonpil deal with everything?
he sighs softly, trusting that the teacher had the situation under control, and begins to slowly whittle down the pile of streamers that lay on the ground.
âwhat do we have left after this?â
So Wonpil absolutely loved his job, but of course it came with moments like these where he wanted to go up to the top floor and jump out one of the windows.
But he had overall gotten it under control. He would have originally gone and had Mark tame the beasts, but he couldn't just throw in an unsuspecting child to a ring of lions in headed moments like this. So he just put them to work on either side of the room and had them work on words he had assigned for them to read, write, and draw as homework and as class work between activities.
A laugh came from his lips when the other had quickly jumped up to the chance of putting up the streamers now that the kids were tamed and put to work. He made sure the other had everything that h needed to put everything up, watching as the other went up.
He watched the other begin to put the items up, holding the ladder so that the other didn't topple over and completely regret his decision.
Wonpil also made sure that the kids behind them were paying attention to the task that they had been given and would often turn around to glance over his shoulder, just so they knew he was watching. Their laughters and giggles that began would be cut off by his gaze, like guilty kids.
"After this? Ah-- I have a few other decorations, but the Seollal lanterns are the only ones that really require a ladder. " He started, nodding and giving a smile back up to the younger, "So we can do that after class for them to see tomorrow? Since we won't have much time right now." He suggested, tilting his head up at the boy putting up the multi-colored streamers.
"I mean, not all of them have to be put up today. They'll be coming back from break and it'll still sorta be celebrating the New Year, you know?" Wonpil hummed, pointing toward a small part where the other could continue to staple.
"You can stop now, because the rest of them will be coming in soon--"

advxmyung:
Myungsoo still hung around his little brotherâs school. It was nice having the feeling of being accepted somehow. Jail had changed him for better or worse and he felt okay with that. He accepted that he was a shitty human being with fire powers, a fire obsession and a temperament of being easily jealous. It was easier to accept that belief than forcing himself to be a good person. He wasnt a good person at all. He was a murderer but it was nice seeing himself as good through an innocent childs eyes.
He recalled vaguely seeing someone who looked like his school rival but it was impossible. So once again, he took up his usual spot close by with two hot chocolates by his side. His father would only come around in two hours after school ended so Myungsoo had plenty of time with his brother. He stared ahead and sighed. The classes were still ongoing and he was just waiting there.
It was a tough day, but Wonpil always made through it. The little rascals were always pretty tough to round up and keep sane, considering they were all just about figuring out how water fountains work and that you CANâT eat glue, but the job was definitely worth it. The smiles of the kids and their futures being collected and set on the right path kept him coming back. There was, however, a few kids he was worried about -- because as an elementary school teacher, every kid that passed through his doors was like his kid.
And there was this specific kid that he felt a little iffy about. It wasnât the child, but the childâs guardian. A weird vibe would come off of him whenever he came about to pick up the little one, and it worried Wonpil that he wasnât safe. He didnât know what the life was like at home for them, or if they even had a home -- but he knew that when school went out, this kid was always going off to this shady looking kid that waited for him. And when all was gone, Wonpil would use his ability in order to see if all was alright and this kid was gonna be okay.Â
Today was yet another day, and he had said his goodbyes to all the cute little kids. He held that specific child back, though, just to talk to him. He waited for all the other kids to leave before talking to him, sitting down in front of him and smiling. He talked to him casually, and dropped a few hints, saying, âmaybe one day your brother can come in for a little meeting? All of us can talk together, you know?â And sent him out, in hopes that this kid could somehow get this kid to come in and talk to him. Because that guy outside seemed shady, and he wanted to straighten this all out.Â

âsure! also sorry if this is really weird but i swear iâve seen you before. did you go to high school in seoul? all boys academy? you look like one of my former classmates⌠lee wonpil? kim- ah yeah, kim wonpil!â he knows itâs random and he knows his ass might be destroyed by his manager but every day jaehyung lives on the potential edge of getting his ass kicked ever day. itâs a true way to live in this cruel world.
Why was Wonpil so nervous? He had no idea. He'd asked a few people out in his lifetime, but it was probably because none of them were as cute as this kid.
Jaehyung was folding some clothes when he finally had walked in and decided that he would do what he finally had the guts to do. A while of just watching the other every time he had come was going to pay off, regardless of what the other had to say to his invitation. Closure was all he needed at the moment, especially knowing that he would have this crush on the boy for a while if he didn't ask now. Â So he just did it.
Aw, his smile. The little grin the boy had given him among first word made him feel a bit more confident at his standing. Toward the end of his sentence, he got at ease for a bit from his stuttering, nd in his anticipation of a reply, he continued to fumble with the tiny speck of lint in his pocket.
What he got in response wasn't exactly what he anticipated, but it was something, of course. He was glad that the other said yes, but -- then he just continued.
"Oh-- yeah, I did?" He started, furrowing his brows. He had no idea where this was going until the other continued, "Yes, Kim Wonpil, that's me." He chuckled, giving the man a charming smile, lifting a hand to run through his own hair, "And you're--" he began, trying to analyze the other's face to get an answer. "...mm... Park, right? " That was a beginning, trying to see if he could finish. After a moment of silence, he continued abruptly, "Jaehyung! Park Jaehyung, right? Ah, you've changed so much--"

Jimin laughed at his words, âyou got a long way to go, buddy. You gottaâ try to hit the middle. Hereâs a trick: open your legs a little more, and stand more square, and kind of shoot to the side. It helps your line of vision better, and you can hit more accurately,â Jimin instructed, and waited for it to be followed, âand if you at least get into the white, Iâll pay for dinner, brat, but you gottaâ actually do  good,â Jimin teased, with a small chuckle tumbling right after. Jimin sat back and watched with gentle encouragement, knowing even if Wonpil doesnât get it, heâll end up paying anyways.
Wonpil was so amazed at how crazy good Jimin was at this. It was like he spent his whole life doing nothing but this, or he was graced somehow with this ability to hit anything he put his mind to. Jimin was someone Wonpil definitely didn't want to be at the other end of a barrel to.
Wonpil had to really, really concentrate. He was almost trembling with how much he was concentrating on the single target. He could almost feel the other's chuckles, but chose to ignore them as he let go of one bullet, and then another. After his moment of happiness and moment of spazzing, the man smiling brightly at the other's chuckle and smile. He could tell Jimin had to give it to him, because it was the first three shots and he had already hit... or rather, skimmed, a target, after never having had touched a gun in his whole life.
Wonpil nodded when he was told that he had a while to go, pursing his lips when the other began to give him tips. He tried to do them as he was told, nodding slowly as he looked over his posture and tired to internalize it, "like this, hyung?" he tried to be sure, allowing the other to continue. Wonpil perked up at the note that Jimin would be paying for the meal, and now he was super motivated to do better, mainly because he hadn't been paid yet and he was starving. Also because Jimin always got to choose the place they ate, since he was older, but this probably meant he could pick this tie. "You're on, hyung." He nodded, grinning as he assumed the position and tried to breathe in and out slowly, giving the trigger a squeeze. Miss.
He groaned a little, biting his bottom lip as he tried again. And again. And again. Constantly, he was missing, probably skimming the targets a few time but never getting more than a bit of skin from the side. He whined, and before he could even try, the gun gave a click. No more bullets. "Ah-- hyung, I broke it."

The brunette didn't really try hard to look good. It wasn't really in his agenda half the time. Of course, in specific occasions he tried to dress nice and look pretty, but on the daily he didn't really put much thought into the clothes he was going to put on after the shower.
Today was different than the daily, though.
It was his vacation off because the holidays were coming around, and so the whole school district was able to take a week or so off from everything. Sure, he was a first grade teacher, but no one really knew of the struggles of taking care of twenty brats going through the time of their life where they didn't completely understand glue wasn't meant to be consumed.
He hadn't really pampered himself all that much. He didn't go out and spoil himself with clothes or materialistic items like others did. He thought, though, that today would be a good day to do so, considering it was the holiday season and everything was pretty much on sale.
Wonpil had been going to this store for a pretty good amount of time, visiting there whenever he needed new clothes or whatever. His loyalty, though, didn't come from the fashion and the deals that came from this little establishment, but rather for the cute fashion consultant/retail worker that he saw often when he went.
Wonpil never did catch his name. He just caught glances at the other while he was folding clothes or ringing someone up, admiring from afar and not really ever making a move to talk to him. He would often try to avoid the other to be sure that he didn't get to conversate with him. He was too much of a coward to go up and do anything about how he admired the other.
Today, though, in the upcoming of a new year, he thought it would be a good step to actually do something about the person that he saw often. A simple talk would suffice, but it was obvious that he couldn't just stop the flow of the busy retail area. So he would sort of have to ask the other out to be able  to get a chance to talk to him.
He was going to do it. He was.
He walked into the shop, looking around with his hands in his pockets, fingers fumbling at the small balls of lint at the bottom seam of the cloth. He took a deep breath as he looked around at the clothes around, not really seeing anything in particular that he liked.
Then he did.
The fashionable little retail worker.
He had to give himself a little pep talk in his mind while he pretended to look through a rack fixture of clothes. Eventually, though, after about five minutes of taking hangers off the rack and holding it up to his chest to make it seem like he was trying to see how the shirt would fit, he was going to do it.
He walked up to the other male and stuffed his hands back into his pocket to be sure that he didn't fidget or seem nervous or anything. "Hi, excuse me -- " he began, flashing a sheepish smile, " -- I was just -- I was wondering, uh... So I've -- well, okay... do you-- maybe-- want to get some coffee, or something, some time? I mean... if that's okay--"
Holy shit, was this embarrassing.
