As much as I adore PC, I have to admit Mac/Apple don't half produce stunning innovative products.
People of Tumblr, behold: The GIF post!
It’s yellow. The most exciting color to be.
Tap it to see your GIF-ables—videos, bursts, Live Photos—or shoot a new GIF on the spot. Isn’t it incredible what science can do?
And now: Write on your GIFs
Like, right on your GIFs. In three different fonts, infinite font sizes, and in every color you could reasonably expect. Try these fun tricks:
Cover a beautiful face with a more-beautiful emoji face.
Spin your text upside-down. People love that.
Shrink your text into unreadable dots. Now you have freckles!
Tap Aa while editing text to change fonts. But you’d have figured that out on your own.
Tap Aa while not editing text to start a fresh block of text. Do it again. Do it again forever.
Skim the rainbow to change the color, obviously. Drag your finger way off to the side and some weirder stuff happens.
Don’t forget rare Unicode characters. This mushroom ⍾ for example. Or this pensive snowman ☃. Or a triple integral symbol ∭. Or this expressionless square █.
Sounds like creative fun.

I took to Pinterest for researching various pictures that could aid me in my NMP.
What I admire about Pinterest is its community uploads and the custom artboards you can create, for my artboard all pictures that inspired or influenced me and my work are all organized within the NMP artboard.

Watching some of Jibs (the gingerbread man) face expressions help me with some of my scenes where I wanted to convey a certain emotion to the scene.

At first my main character was going to be a sour ball sweet called Captain Sour Gums and his crew were made up from various biscuits and chocolates, but the problem I found after designing all the crew and main character were that none of the characters matched or looked like they would be apart of the same team, I then discovered this book and it changed my view on how the character team should be.
I chose a gingerbread pirate for my story because of Matt Tavares illustrated pirate, his design is simple and look authentic, I thought if I developed my characters with his in mind I would create something similar and simple which would save me time especially when I have to recreate my character in different scenes.

This video helped me visualise how a battle scene might look and how the cannons react because I wasn't sure whether cannons should be visible from the side of the ship or whether they should be very visible and extend further out the sides when I use.
