For my current one, I came up with the nickname "Nes" as the one I wanted to use online, since prior to this I didn't really have one. I kept trying to find good, memorable, unique tags, and one day came up with the idea to use a common cryptid name but tweak it to make it my own! Thus, the unique title of loch-nes-dragon was born.

Okay buckle up because its actually somewhat interesting. My main username USES to be foxy, because I likes foxes and stuff, but one time someone on roblox called me foxy from fnaf. I really didnt know much about fnaf other than it was a popular horror game so I got a little mad over it, eventually rebranding into foxzu. If my memory is to be trusted, I was in high school around the time the Among Us game was really popular, and we had a bit of free time in class so me and a few friends decided to play. OH WOWOWOW THIS SEEMS FUN... ok so!! i really liked ducktales and i liked the episode "Double-O-Duck!" and i also liked the james bond ref to agent 007, and beyond that, my favourite MILGRAM character is Kirisaki Shidou aka Prisoner 005 so i combined the two on a whim!! which led to Double Agent-O-Five and then Aegant-O-Fiiv as a funny little unique spelling. yea! that's it

this retail worker gets more casual clothes that he'd like better bc. yes he works at a cafe, no i am not doing that to him. he's suffered enough. someone help this man's tortured soul

i made his hair less messy and also shorter! i like to think here he didn't cut his hair until he moved in with his sister and out of that house where he needed to work for his parents. i think he still takes care of his hair no matter how much he works, but at least now he cam care for himself and not need to worry abt his hair! there's NO way he doesn't look after it more than his own sleep schedule. i wanted to put sakuras on his pants but god forbid i draw those or any flower bc i suck at it (i cld do sou's flower crown idk why this was so difficult) so i didn't put it in,, sorry for the lacking detail there lol

aaaand SHE'S DONE!!! my second full body sprite other than masami... wow.... idk if i drew her braids well but ykw i tried my best and that accounts for smth surely. anyways, reintroducing the grandest, skilled and fun-loving fire dancer; Watari Nishino!! or, as i've renamed her, Waragai Nichika (藁谷 丹和)!

i had several qualms with her canon design tbh, not even bc of her straight hair or suit or anything; it felt cohesive, but my main complaint was that it didn't feel like her. nishino is a fun-loving, excitable, yet caring and very loving individual, and she loves and cares no matter how stifled she feels by the role of "sister-mom" and the parentified older sister. her canon design, to me, didn't convey her personality and character well, and beyond that, she didn't look like someone dedicated to fire dance. not that fire dancers have to be wearing their uniform or performance outfit constantly, but watari describes fire dance as her life's calling. she feels like the kind of person who'd at leat wear some part of it constantly on her person if just to convey the message, "hey, this is my life's work and my number one dream!", so obviously that anyone could tell from a glance. so i HAD to convey that in her design!!

most fire dances are performed in the context of Shinto rituals (huh, funny that we have a devout catholic in this cast and a devout shinto in the next) or local festivals rather than as structured extracurricular programs, so she unfortunately couldn't have picked it up from a school club; what i think happened is that she tried getting into it at some point after regularly visiting festivals that involved and showed fire dancing, and made her fire dance friends from the small community that worked in it from there! that's the main reason i gave her a japanese fire dance uniform, bc she'd be doing it professionally here, esp now when she'd older and actually able to do her own thing outside of being the sister-mom in the house.

i also gave her braids and multi-coloured beads, because i think she'd like to add colour and pops of contrast in her outfits, because. it makes it feel more vibrant! it feels more fun and colourful and less boring!! and it's also her way of reconnecting to her roots outside of japan, because she gets that liberty. it doesn't take away any less of her talent and skill, and she gets to express that part of herself in a country as xenophobic and discriminatory as japan. "oh she has straight hair bc of japan's rules on looking presentable and local" doesn't feel like a good excuse to give a character like her straight hair. if she had wavy or curly hair, she wldn't even straighten it out of spite,, so. yeah

please give me feedback on how to draw black hair!! i'm not entirely sure if i did it right even if i'm very proud of how it looks here, so if anyone has any tips, i'd appreciate it a lot <3

oops just realised i haven't been leaving updates,,, to let u guys know, i recently started interning ever since a week ago, and this week i've had shifts from 9AM to 6PM (break inbetween from 12 30 to 1 30PM) so i haven't had the energy to make videos, even if i'm not completely exhausted LOL

the work's been fun so far though, even if tiring! i'm gonna see if i wanna do it as an actual career or as a side gig haha

anyways i had a lot of fun with this trend actually?? i'm not good at animation and i don't have tweening apps but. AAA this actually was a joy to work on in the midst of graded assignments and the like. yippee!! also the red over chance's face is a veil in place of their shades. i couldn't figure out how to draw their sunglasses over just one eye for ref so i gave up and made cool veil instead. this is also bc i wanted to put them in one even if not in their usual design so you get to see it now!! grieving veils amirite. do those even exist. idk man i'm having fun

aaaand he's done!!! his design, at least! meet Tibayan Katsuki (ティバヤン 活輝), the Ultimate Boutique Stylist! or well boutique hotel stylist but that name is too long.

he's a "hafu", AKA half-japanese, specifically half-jp half-filipino! hence Tibayan for his surname, that's tagalog haha. in case you didn't red my previous post about him in my wip, don't worry, i'll run you by the details again. for one, what's with his sense of style? that's grunge! or well, what i adapted from the grunge aesthetic. typically consisting of flannel shirts or skirts, torn denim or baggy jeans, along with worn sneakers or combat boots; essentially a look that's meant to be all about oversized and worn layers and layers. hence his beanie, sneakers and ripped pants- and his jacket, that's a flannel shirt over a usual polyester shirt.

now, the reason i think he took up being a boutique hotel stylist is that i learned several things! one, a boutique hotel is a small, intimate lodging that offers highly personalized service and a unique, stylish character. unlike large chain hotels, they prioritise cultural immersion, avant-garde design, and a curated atmosphere over standardised amenities. essentially they're far less mainstream and a lot more of a specific kind of genre. and the reason i felt that this fit them is because that's essentially the entire thing they want to do; to help people find themselves and their own style, by sharing different kinds that aren't typically shown to others there! the grunge aesthetic isn't common at all in a setting like danganronpa (not even in japan explicitly, just that we've never seen any characters with it) but i figured that if junko was a gyaru (aka a niche style people could only find there) that i can do this too!! despite this, he does not care for small things that just make him look. dead inside. he actually is more energetic than he looks, though he is also quite nonchalant if it wasn't already apparent. this is the issue because he will stay up nights finding good styles for clients that like specific clothes or designs and forget what time it is. he will crash and burn after a few days but gets right back to it like it isn't a problem. is there such a thing as too passionate? that's them
