Mercenary Rappelz Overview
Today I would like to talk about the core skills that makes Mercenaries so OP in Rappelz in terms of the Master skills that open up for them at Master Class.
Blue: Main self buffs that you will want to use.
Green: Passives that you can increase with Parallel World gear to make your Merc stronger. The three most commonly used Parallel World skills for Mercs are Invigorating Aura, Guiding Light, and Lust for Blood. The two specific Parallel World skills that people like to use also include Restrain and Wild Stream due to the advantage they can give since they can be instant spam if not near spam.
Red: Main spam skills you will use the most on your Merc.
White: Buff toggles that you will want to use.
I can’t even black out any of the skills because Merc’s don’t get many MC skills so the majority of their passives are extremely useful. Deathblow helps you tank by giving the mob a -20% patk debuff. Wild Stream became the main Merc skill in Epic 9.3. because it can be instant spam if you can get it to lv. 26. Lv. 25 actually gets it pretty close since it only has a second or half a second cd at that lv.
The skill description for this pic is actually wrong. For starters Remorselessness is the description for the first passive. By attacking you get a total of 78 crit power and 1k patk (to be updated) for 3 minutes. As long as you keep attacking this buff will renew and stay active. You don’t need to put 2 TP into this passive since it gives you the same buff regardless which makes it useful for when you only have 6 TPs and want to go damage build. Immortality, if you choose to go with this tree, once cast will not allow your hp to drop below 1 hp. After the buff wears off you will regain 30% of your hp. So if say you were at 1 hp but you healed yourself and your hp was 2k out of 50k and the buff wears off you will regain 30% of your hp which is +15k to your current 2k. It adds the additional 30% to wherever your hp is at which is very useful since it won’t leave you too vulnerable to mobs when the skill wears off. Divine Flash is another popular spam skill since Epic 9.3 because at lv. 24 it becomes instant spam. At around 350-400 cast speed it’s near instant spam so you can try to fit in other attacks while the mob or player is blinded. Restrain is not spammable but can be lowered to a 3 second cd at the max lv. of 28 which is still pretty good because it gives the mob a debuff of -100% mov spd. Touch of Light’s description is incorrect. Basically all mobs that are movement impaired will increase your damage by 30%. So it helps to cast Restrain or get your mage friends to cast their Chainsickle Wind or Thunder Splash and then spam all your skills.
The third tree’s TP passive description is kind of whacky but basically the second passive increase all your skill damage by 63% which makes this the damage tree. Your Divine Crash also becomes instant cd after each kill. Mental Breaker will become your friend if you go Wild Stream build because you will run out of mana but it allows you to regenerate instantly by using it on a mob.
Disclaimer: In the future I will fix the skill description in the images above. However, I started typing this up during the game’s maintenance.
