Stop bashing idols
Something I say a lot and won't ever stop saying: please, for the love of whatever or whoever you believe in, stop bashing/shaming/hating on kpop idols, especially trainees and rookie groups.
You don't have to like every single fucking idol on this planet, no; but what you have to do is respect every single one as long as there's no seungri case.
Every single idol is hardworking and ambitious; they give up their childhood and their whole youth with the sole purpose of achieving their dreams and for that they have to go through so much such as extreme changed in appearance and character; they are being given a personality and a role for the rest of their career, not able to truly discover t he mselves especially if they start training at ages like 12/13.
A lot of stans who have been in the kpop fandom for at least two - three years knowd what's going on behind the scenes, how bad and awful idols are being treated and how much they actually have to sacrifice in order to be a public pleaser but this message goes out to all new stans:
Kpop isn't all fairytales and rainbows and aegyo; your oppa and unnie aren't always happy and usually they're not even the way they seem to be. Your favorite's company's only purpose and intention is pure money making, using their idols like robots and animals, ordering them around just like in the military. It takes idols years to finally find themselves, their passions and their personality solely because they have been denied by their oh so famous companies.
Every single idol goes through this, no matter if it's YG, SM or JYP or any smaller company. BTS went through this, Twice, Blackpink, Exo, Shinee, Girl's Generation, Super Junior - all of them went through the worst to get where they are now so please, stop hating on idols, bashing them and shaming them for their appearance, their concepts, their voices or their behavior because they don't deserve it. You don't like an idol for whatever reason? That's absolutely gine, but don't hate on them. You aren't fond of a group because of their prefered concepts not being your style? That's great, but don't go around badmouthing them. You simply don't listen to other groups because you're a solo stan? Whatever you please, but don't you dare hate on them or compare them to your favorites solely because said idols aren't as "successful " as your faves.
Kpop is supposed to be a support system, a safe haven, a happy place, an escape and a friend so please don't go around and spread negativity when you could just shut the fuck up and not share your negative opinions.
Respect idols, that's all they want. I don't even want you to like them all or listen to their music but respect them and their hardwork because literally no one goes from nothing to something - especially in this industry.
(Adding to this: if an idol makes a mistake such as cultural appropriation, unintentional discrimination or just generally something which isn't morally acceptable becaude it regards a certain group of people - don't hate them, don't cancel them, don't throw shit their ways, but rather take your time and educate them, tell them about their mistakes and what they could have done better because you might not think that's the case but idols indeed read your stuff and the more it spreads the more likely it is for them to see it so please, don't try to make smth better by using negativity when positivity is also an option.)
