Hey!  I made an animatic!

Inside the Loyswyn Temple: “The Weaving Room”.

I thought an interesting way of record keeping would be weaving symbols for notable events-- like the aforementioned octopus!  On an island consistently under threat from sea monsters and storms.  I figured that fabric might be more durable and reliable than paper.  Each family has their own tapestry.

If it looks like the loom is operating upside down... it is.  Technically, the tapestries are never meant to end.

The warrior princess in action!  Her hometown has problems with sea monsters.

A closer look at a Warrior Princess!  Her name is Belroah, or Bel.

While I liked her previous design for the shape, I felt that this was more befitting of an outfit she would wear in her own climate.  Puffy sleeves and a long skirt aren’t great for tropical weather.

Her tattoos and armbands are the mark of a warrior.

Another character from a project!  I’ve been fleshing things out quite a lot, even if I don’t intend for it to become a comic.  Currently it’s more of an illustration series that still tell a story.  Keep an eye out for more!

Prompt: Exoskeleton So. It looks like I’m actually doing Inktober. I wanted to try and be more consistent with making things to post. I’m doing it digitally because that’s how I usually make comics and I wanted to get more comfortable “inking” the pages, as well as getting less reliant on color to make pictures cool. I’m using the prompt list from Camilla Roeder for #sonsofcamilla
