Awakening Part 1 (Nordover)
Well this certainly wasn't entirely what I had in mind for an after life. When I person dies there are suppose to be at rest not doing the exact same thing over again in another realm with a severe handicap...
Everything was pitch black and suddenly I found myself in the woods. As soon as I started to travel there were others running along the main path in fear. I looked back to see nothing there. Looking towards the running people I decided to follow the path that strangely lead to a town.
The villagers looked my way in surprise and some approached me asking who I was and demanding me to tell them how I made it through the woods alive. Just when I'm about to explain we are interrupted by large horn sounding off. The villagers scurry into what seems to be a tavern while warriors collect themselves outside standing ready as though a war were to break out. Curiously I stood along side those inside. Mentions of a creature called a wendle was told approaching. Another mentioned it was the night terrors.
The enemy drew close to the village and the warriors fought of these demons into the woods. The warriors shouted and asked for more villagers to join and chase them down. I had followed given that I knew the main path. By then it was nightfall. Pitch dark in front of me but also hearing a familiar voice. It was my youngest sister or whom I had not seen since I left home. We had much catching up to do but it was not the time or place for that. We ran through the trees in search of our enemies. They tried to ambush us and had reinforcements but they were no match for us. Soon after things settled down we slowly start back towards the village but then all silence was cut short when in the distance we could see a red light... it came closer and closer. We ran! As fast as we could ran for the opening others left behind I was being told to hurry. We made it just in time. Entering the tavern there was a eerie but tall character with his back to us. Warriors who ran in began bow as the man turned around. My face went pale.
By the gods its odin.
