haha ayyy guys. just a little update - i spent the last couple months back in PHP for my... eating issues. the years of lying to everyone (including myself) about how sick i was finally caught up with me.

treatment sucked as usual, however, i am doing better now than i ever have. i feel alive and awake again. i feel like i deserve to exist.

now that i'm in recovery, i want to get back to doing my favorite things, one of those being writing. so if anyone is still here - i'll see y'all around soon.

Ok um I feel so seen. I just can't even express to people when they ask how much this team meant to me, and how, when things were really dark, they always gave me something to cheer for, something to believe in. don't know what I would have done without them.

Also ok but my dad who has been watching hockey since the wonderful year of 1947 and literally sat and smiled in his chair during game 6 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Final and said "anything can happen" with a small smile while we were all freaking tf out. And then a minute later they did their whole 17 seconds thing. So I feel that he knows things. He thinks Johnny will retire soon because of all his health issues, and from already achieving, like, everything a captain could hope to achieve. They'll retire his jersey. Maybe he'll go on to stay involved in the NHL world like Patrick Sharp and Troy Murray.
