It is important to celebrate, and do so loudly and in public, to drive home to the Trump Supporters that their views are not welcome.

Like all wannabe dictators, Trump isn't the threat directly. That comes from the people who lift him up to power and who he directs in their violence.

But they're bullies at heart, and showing them that they are not dominant, that they are not "the winners" will help cow them. They will still be violent, yes, but disrupting their momentum is important.
