Harvey showcased a lot of new designers throughout the year, alongside his ongoing collaborations with Christian Siriano!

His Emmys fashion journey showed this in microcosm: he slayed in Bishme Cromartie to announce the Emmy nominations, in Siriano at the Creative Arts Emmys, in Harry Halim at the Primetime Emmys, and in Cucculelli Shaheen at the post-Emmys parties.

Harvey continued to highlight sheer textures in his looks and added a new twist with temporary tattoos on his arms for a couple of red carpets. He introduced pleated pieces by Homme Plissé Issey Miyake and explored new ways to show some skin with backless outfits by Siriano and Jonathan Marc Stein early in the year. He leaned into leather with a stunning photoshoot also in Jonathan Marc Stein, repped fat positivity with a Mameko Maeda Tenga X Artist sweater, and featured eco-friendly fashion with Romina Cardillo at the premiere of Companion. Plus, he revived one of his earliest fashion collabs, with Ashton Michael, at the 2025 Latine Honors.

"She notes that the country’s first legally recognized same-sex marriage involved two women of colour, Barrero and Mejias, officiated by a Queer woman, a story she believes is too often overlooked.  “When you get to be a Queer dinosaur like me, you kind of start to see history being rewritten while you still live,” she shared.  “The history of the Queer movement is not all white boys.”  For DiNovo, the anniversary is about more than celebrating a legal victory.  While she describes marriage equality as a landmark human rights achievement, she argues that queer relationships never depended on state recognition to be valid.  “It was a big step forward in terms of the state recognizing the validity of being Queer, but it didn’t open up marriage for Queers. That was done when the first Queers walked the face of the Earth,” she continued, explaining that long before 2001, in fact for thousands of years before, 2SLGBTQIA+ people have been marrying each other in non-legal ceremonies, committing to sharing their lives and love with each other. “This is just the state acknowledging finally what has always been going on in all of human history,” she said. "
