Writing X as Commander of HQ has been a fun experience so far. Initially I had thought that his position may have caused him to shelve more of his personality, but I found the opposite ended up happening. He's been coming out of his shell more. He's overworked and a bit restless, and he has his staff telling him to take his day-off more seriously. I feel like that concern from his friends has allowed for some meaningful development for him, and I really enjoy how things are coming along.

Today is a very special day and I just wanted to share our new milestone with you. I saw that we were about to hit 1K, so I asked @ratprt if they could draw a little something for the occasion. I hope you enjoy it.

Let The Past Die has been a story that ratprt and I hold very dear to our hearts, and the fact that we’ve been able to put it to words and share it with you all has been an experience that I have enjoyed.

Unlimited Potential worried me as I was writing it, because it focused on a plot point that I was very nervous about, and that was X taking the role of Commander of the Maverick Hunters. I won’t spoil how it happens if you haven’t read it, but it’s something that stumped me for a while.

Eventually, I found the direction I wanted to take it, and I was happy with it. And after hearing what a lot of you had to say, it seems like you were too.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this and our fic. It means more than you know.
