So being totally transparent as you can tell I've not posted, I've fought and tried so hard to get back into Genshin, but I can't. I hate it more and more everyday. I don't regret my time with it, I don't regret what I've written, but it's time to stop.
Genshin is going down a path I don't want to support, I understand it's a big game, but it's falling into just the same basic anime garbage, and with Natlan and all the EXTREMELY pale characters with name and character origins relating to black or African culture, I find this absolutely disgusting, and deplorable.
Fontaine also crushed my love with Skirk, as she reeks of HSR [which I also hate, for varying reasons] as well as the way that she says the Whale is just a 'pet' feels crushing as a player, that everything I've done is worthless, and now I just don't care.
If you enjoy the game, then I won't stop you. But I would point out that this game is turning into slop. Sumeru was already a bad sign with how they used POC names for white characters, but at least there was ounces of value, at least they still kind of tried, but Natlan has no excuse, and each time I see what they're doing with the game, it's just slop on slop.
I won't ask anyone to play it, but I am just announcing that I'm done. I'm entirely done.
Thank you all for those who supported me back when I wrote, and I hope you all have a good life. My inbox remains open, and this sideblog is still attached to the blog I use on-and-off, so I believe messages will go through.
Have a good day, and remember: Vote with your dollar, and with your time.
Hi there, saw you did a lot of stuff for Rosaluc a while ago. I really really really need to see Rosaria get the shot beaten out of her and Diluc be the like best trucking caretaker ever. PLEASE. I NEED GORE, MAN.
If you don’t wanna, that’s totally ok! No pressure! Have a great day or night, and thanks!
Hello!

[[ TW: Gore [Probably not as extreme as the asker wanted tbh], injury, blood, talks of fighting and violence but none directly ]]

I hope this is a good prompt:
Can I please request Scaramouche reacting to his S/O giving up their vision to replace his heart so he can feel again, and now the reader is like everyone else who's lost their vision and barely remembers him?
Preferably hurt/comfort but heavy on the hurt if you want ^-^
So I've saved this ask for so long it became canon that Scaramouche DOESN'T actually 'not feel' and he's just tsundere but I want this anon to know I adore this ask. I've saved this ask. This ask has influenced a novel series I work on for fun. It literally has foundationally changed it. I want to write an entire massive story about this but knowing how they've kinda ruined the idea of 'emotionless scara' [granted, I do kinda like him now still, but not as much] makes me feel like I can't really write this but I want the world to see this prompt.
tiny headcanon for lyney and lynette is that they BOTH can basically pull some [literal, not performative] magic for their animal features. Usually, Lyney chooses to go without, Lynette with, to have SOME way to truly feel unique to themselves.
In public, anyway.
Yearning for Timelessness Ch. 1
Read on AO3!
Hey! I'm aware I'm dead as hell, but if anyone's interested, I'm on and off working on a Kavetham fic on Ao3! Feel free to pop over if you're interested!
I have a very specific headcanon about Alhaitham- specifically relating to his gender.
He is AFAB. He does not care. He is not even inherently masculine. He is not feminine. He doesn't really consider himself androgynous, either. He doesn't care. Saying Agender or non-binary doesn't work either, because he's not those either. That's implying he has some kind of self-identification, when really he's completely opted out.
Alhaitham doesn't care about pronouns- He, She, They, there's no preference. Most people default to "He" as... well, it's an accident, really.
He wears binders as he finds his chest in the way and obnoxious, but not enough so to warrant surgery. They also serve some purpose in his comfort, so there's no reason to do away with them fully. He uses estrogen/hormone blockers to stop his period and other side effects of an AFAB body that are not exactly convenient. He cuts his hair short as it's a pain to handle- if it's more than a comb running through his hair it's more effort than he's willing to put in for something he cares little for. Just because many of these things make him appear masculine, none of it was intentional.
He also doesn't wish to have bottom surgery as, while 'wetness' and going to the bathroom might be a little more cumbersome [key word: might] than if he had opposing equipment, he finds the benefit of not having an additional part of his body to need to maintain and position and, god forbid, get hurt by a very precise kick.
Alhaitham doesn't care about gender, nor how he presents. They're just... a bother to him at best, a burden at worst.
[This is a great confusion to Kaveh, who experimented with being a transwoman in the past only to affirm his connection with masculinity and a renewed appreciation for feminine beauty, is incredibly confused by Alhaitham's complete lack either way. He respects it, even if he doesn't understand it.]
Request From Anonymous:
Autistic!Reader that doesn't really know they're autistic yet so Childe shows them like his favorite stims and encouraging them to stim whenever he sees them getting excited over something and encouraging their info dumps?

I still struggle really badly to characterize kazuha and I think the main reason is that everything about him is based on the events he's gone through.
nothing talks about him. Yoimiya gets close and says that someone with many cares in the world speaks of poetry and nature, etc. etc. Which makes sense. Kazuha is a very mild character...
But that also makes him hard to figure out. I know he lost his best friend, I know he's a wanderer, I know he's stopped Raiden's blade.
However...
I don't know anything about him. Everything he seems to react with extreme mild mannerisms, even the greatest thing feels so minor.
He feels more like a heartless doll that I once wanted Wanderer to be than an actual person- a body to exist through events, rather than a person who reacted to them. A stand-in.
I cannot, for the life of me, understand Kazuha.
@albeditto
He’s kinda milquetoast tbh just a guy who likes nature and wind and sleeps on rocks like a lizard lmao
That's. The issue.
How do I wrote milquetoast wind-lovin rock-sleepin lizard guy.

Obsessing over unwilling wanderer disney princess. His heart [that he insists he does not have] is so delicate animals always innately trust him. extremely common for birds to rest atop his head perch on his shoulders, skittish foxes in a place they don't understand hide behind his legs.
He does not like this. He does not feel like he should be trusted- most days, he doesn't trust himself. He barely trusts the sun to rise in the morning.
Nahida, however, thinks it's a good thing, watching as Wanderer holds his hands out for a little bird trying to fly for the first time- if it fails, he catches it, and delicately places it back in its nest, only muttering "later, then." before going on with whatever task he was given.
The Twins have their own shortcomings- and strengths.
Lumine has a voice that resonates- that can cut through even a crowd of screaming. A voice that demands attention, and that calls to action. A voice befitting a leader. One that can make the most timid of souls a terrifying army to challenge the gods and the stars the stand alongside.
However, her heart- if she has one at all- is cold. She is not shaken or rattled by the cruelest words, but she also is not afraid of cutting another to the heart with her words alone. She is considered cold, and condescending. In a way... she truly is.
Aether has a golden heart- he can melt the frostiest of hearts, unlock the most guarded of souls, and soothe the most wounded of beasts, and even if it lead to harm, he will do so with a smile, for he loves. He loves, he loves and feels so much it consumes him alive.
However, his voice- if he has one at all- is muted. When he opens his mouth, and tries to force the words through his throat, it's strangled, like his own voice wants him dead. He cannot speak, every attempt is pitiful, broken, and falls apart to little pieces. He is considered a mute, a pushover. In a way... he truly is.
They have great faults, and great powers.
They fill in the holes of what the other is missing.
Lumine is Aether's voice. Aether is Lumine's heart.
They were not meant to be separated. Their greatnesses too strong, weaknesses too devastating.
I'm going to... Hopefully, write some wanderer content tomorrow
Just a word of warning, I see that Kaiyo is the most common name given to Wanderer by players/the travellers, so unless a request states otherwise I will be calling him Kaiyo.
Dude, I love love love what you did for the ask about puppet joint Scaramouche. Utterly beautiful in all the right places and more. You captured it perfectly as I imagined and I thank you for that.
I have another request if you’re willing to take it, it’s about the interlude quest regarding Scara and changing his name to the player’s wishes. And I was just hoping you could capture his reaction to us wanting to call him Babygirl. I see that everyone is call him that as a joke and wanted to see his reaction to that myself. And when he obviously refuses that name, how about the consideration of Mochi instead since he has squishy mochi cheeks that we want to bite out of cuteness. I think about this a lot. Thank you for all your efforts in your work!
this one genuinely stumped me for months on end
because in a realistic way? I don't think it'd end well. I don't think it'd end well at all. Crack is a different story, but... I don't write crack. Not much, anyway, so I didn't take it that route.
He'd be hurt, he knows he owes you this, but you remembered him, even when he didn't remember himself.
His heart is raw and bare, he lived through five hundred years of misery within a few moments, and he's still reeling. He's vulnerable.
He's baring whatever lingers where his heart was meant to go, giving you the choice, the privilege to name him. To decide his future for him.
And to call him... Babygirl... is a very ... rough way of not reading the room, and he would- okay, he could... accept a joke. it's a joke. It has to be a joke. So, he would of course refuse-
And being called Mochi, a name many people name their pets back in Inazuma, he doesn't think it's cute or silly, even if the reason is explained.
He's hurt.
He feels you're treating him like something that belongs to you- a pet, nay, just a toy to do what you want with now that he's not a blatant threat.
It hurts, it hurts, it hurts.
It hurts so much he's not sure what to do with himself, other than to just laugh, tense and strained, "You're not taking this seriously. Fine- I'll do it myself."
He does not accept Mochi. He does not consider any other names. Either by then, he goes by Wanderer. Just Wanderer.
He does not trust you to name him.
He did, and you crushed it with mirth and amusement in his eyes, when he was still so weak and wounded and defeated.
You made him into a joke.
He would not accept anything from you he didn't have to for Buer.
