Surprise surprise!! America's shady asf and couples him up with the bombshell

❀ The recoupling happens, and America votes to couple him up with the bombshell to "test the connection." The second her name is read out next to his, his face goes so flat, everyone sitting on the couch is in shock, even Ariana herself.

If anything, he's shady enough to scoot over himself, and thankfully, Childe (who scara is best buddies with...) is right next to Scara, and Scara presses up against him in disgust of the bombshell not taking a hint.

❀ You're either single and sleeping alone, or you've been coupled up with some random guy who's way too excited about finally talking to you after scara practically claimed you from day one and shooed away any boy who tried talking to you.

❀ The first night, he has to sleep in bed with the bombshell, but as everyone's getting ready to sleep or is still showering, he goes over to your bed first.

┊ He sits on the edge of your bed, one leg tucked up, facing you. he doesn't say anything dramatic; he just sits there and talks to you like nothing changed. about dinner, about the challenge earlier, just basic conversation,

┊ He kisses you before the lights go out, soft, deliberate, his hand on the side of your face. In front of the bombshell (if there's one on your bed), especially in front of the bombshell he's forced to sleep with across the room.

┊ He doesn't acknowledge that the kiss is a statement because, to him, it isn't. It's just a routine he does before bed

She says it while you're in the room, and you don't say anything, you just grin at the thought that America was wrong and that they can never break your connection.

❀ He has made at least one person cry during a villa discussion. Not intentionally. He was just being honest, and their emotional threshold was lower than he anticipated.

❀ He actually loves the drama. He'd never admit it, but the way he leans forward when an argument starts, the way he pulls you closer to whisper commentary in your ear while two people scream at each other by the pool. He's invested. He just performs disinterest because caring would be out of character.

Childe Bro-ship

❀ If Childe is in the villa, they become inseparable within 48 hours. Scara doesn't admit it's because they like each other; he only says that "he's the only one here with a functional brain stem."

❀ Their dynamic in the villa is the same as everywhere else.

╰┈┈┈➤ Childe is loud and charming and befriends everyone, Scara tolerates him specifically, and no one else, and the two of them working out together in the villa gym has become a fan-favorite recurring segment.

♡ blinks out of years and years of mimicking and trying to be more human-like. If you challenge him to a staring contest, he'd get spooked by his new urge to blink when he physically does not need to

♡ if you fluster him, he wont blush, he'd heat up.

♡ similarly if he's stressed out, he will heat up. If someone he loves is ever in danger, you should keep an eye on him bc there might be smoke coming from his skin (please cool him down before the poor boy overheats)

♡ talking about heating up, there is a way for him to control it, so on colder nights, you might find that he's heated his (usually cold) body so you can sleep easier.

♡ anytime you're holding his hand he's always listening to your heartbeat - he finds it comforting. for this reason, he also enjoys cuddling (he wont ever admit this tho)

♡ is very neat and organised, he hates mess and you will find him cleaning when you've accidentally left a dirty dish out (yeah, he's the type to guilt trip you by cleaning it without a single word said, but like, right in front of you so you see him cleaning it and feel bad - expert guilt tripper im telling u)

♡ an amazing cook - look, he's over 500 years old and has been going from place to place. I can assume he's gained a lot of knowledge over food

♡ very rare of him to ever get jealous (again, hes 500 yrs old, this man is mature) - but don't test his limits, he does have a history of abandonment issues, his insecurities may rise of you go too far

♡ he finds a stubborn bratty lover just as amusing as a sweet and shy one. I honestly think he can get along with anyone, and its probably why this man gets shipped with literally every character in genshin

Some more of my wanderer headcanons because i really like him

Since he was a puppet and most of the harbingers didn’t care to ask if he needed to eat or not, resulting in them not saving him a spot or making sure something was prepared for him. he’d purposefully show up during the feasts and ask where his portions were just to see the chefs and other harbingers look around for someone to explain. This eventually stopped when columbina felt bad for him and would offer him her food instead to which she would then make it so he always got a plate or treat with everyone. Although he might not have eaten anything anyways since he just likes to watch others.

I don’t think he can handle alcohol well and it’s why he prefers tea, a few different reasons I feel for this. His tastebuds are a bit more sensitive and he doesn’t like tasting the “aged” part in aged wine and some cheeses. He just simply can’t handle wine like others no matter how long he tried for a tolerance, was a bit funny to see him leave earlier than usual due to being tipsy although it was probably out of fear of being seen vulnerable.

A lot of people think he’s cold to the touch or slightly warm due to his internal fans I think he’s as hot or cold as whatever environment or room he’s in. He’s made of wood and some mechanical features yet almost always described as a porcelain doll in fics funnily enough.

+ Debunking some stereotypes

╰┈➤ There's a strong belief that he's possessive.

His vision is of the Anemo element, which represents the nation of FREEDOM. Literally, the end of his villainous arc centers on his attempt to FREE himself from the chains of the past. I assure you he will not attempt to restrict his partner's company or lifestyle.

The type of bond you both share will eventually involve a voluntary and sincere, complete and absolute surrender. He, for his part, with his undeniable tendency toward control, will enjoy subduing you and having you at his mercy, of course, only as long as you allow it and feel comfortable with it, always in a setting intimate enough that even he might let you call him 'yours'. He will undoubtedly make you work hard to earn his permission to treat him as such; he likes to test your willingness.

In battle, he is brusque and rough, precise and brutal; his attitude is unapproachable. Maybe at some point he'll even decide to tease you and encourage you to finally kiss him on the lips, of course, if you haven't already.

It bothers me that incel Wanderer au is a thing. Because he literally screams the opposite in so many ways.

Firstly, even in his evil era, he hated ALL OF Y'ALL equally. There was no anti woman agenda on his mind. You could say that maybe he thought less of them in secret. But then why was his canon first follower a woman? And what makes it better is that haypasia wasn't even picked by him for being strong or brutal in any way. She was chosen because she showed understanding towards him after seeing his past while in meditation. He literally favored a woman for her ability to be sensitive despite how cold and egotistical he was then.

Also his love language is very canonically quality time and acts of service mainly. You think he'd ever belittle or neglect a woman he genuinely cared about? ESPECIALLY one he'd feel a rare attraction to?

His entire life was spent being used, thrown away, made into a tool. The LAST thing that man would ever do is objectify a woman in any way. He canonically treats people who mirror him or understand him better than others. He'd delete himself again before ever willingly subjecting someone he cherishes to those same nasty feelings be once had to endure.

He'd be helpful around the house if he was ever given the PRIVILEGE of being invited into a woman's home and wouldn't let himself be a burden since he likes to feel useful and wanted too. As if he'd ever behave incompetently like a man child and make his lover have to serve him in any way.

And if anyone thinks he'd be vulnerable to manipulation, let me remind you that this man was manipulated once before and decided never again. His observation, pattern recognition, social intelligence, and sharp mind came as a result of him never wanting to give others a chance to control him again.

“I’m not holding you all night. It’s a push for me to even hug you.” Scaramouche huffed. His arms were crossed as he glared at you with sleepy eyes. Though you beg. And he gives in with a huff— so long as he is the big spoon. Where he heard that term is still in question.

It had taken months to get him to tolerate you— let alone touch— so this was a cherished moment! That said, he claimed it would be temporary. “Only five minutes.” He claims. And then he falls asleep and yeah— five minutes becomes all night.

Looking up at him— he looks at peace for once. His usual snarky remarks are silenced, his scowl is wiped away, and he’s warm. I don’t think he breathes since he’s a puppet so with him wrapped around you it’s like a nice warm weight.

When you two wake up in the morning he is surprised by himself. First off, it was the first time in a while he had gotten fantastic sleep. Then, it was how nice you felt in his arms. Even though you were still asleep, he knew he should think your sleeping face was stupid, but…it was cute!

Wanderer

It takes just as long to get Wanderer to cuddle you. He slips by it by kissing your head before leaving you at your house and flying away. When you ask him up front his ears go red— he tries to act nonchalant but fails. “Can I…” You mumble, leaning your head on his shoulder. It’s been a long night, an enjoyable one, yes, but tiring. “Oh…uh…sure. If you want.” He mumbled, opening his arms. He usually wouldn’t have but you’d been dating for months and that sleepy look on your face was enough to get him to give in…Also he'd be lying if he said that he hadn't been wanting this.

It’s nice in that moment. He’s just…there, holding you. With Wanderers arms wrapped around you he carries you off to bed and holds you into his chest. He loves you dearly.
