He narrowed his gaze, curling his lip. “Silvally isn’t a fucking monster. If anyone is, it’s you.” He hissed.

“You’re not wrong. It takes a monster to make one.”

And he grins a sickening smile.

“I’m fine with being this way.”

“Only incident would come if he strikes first. I don’t plan on starting a fight.”

“Then perhaps, don’t antagonize him.”

“Perhaps teach him some manners. He insulted me first plus snapped at someone for doing something nice.”

“He’s angry. He requires patience. You however simply think the last word makes you powerful.”

“Anger doesn’t excuse treating people like garbage. It’s funny to me if someone tries getting under my skin but as for an innocent just doing something nice? I’d think Gladion could hold his tongue and not rip into them.”

“No it doesn’t. He’s learning.” Rico smiled. “He has been duly reprimanded for his behavior by both Mohny and myself and I’m working on his strategies for times like this. That is sufficient, no?”

“...Well, he probably owes a apology to that nice lady but otherwise yes.”

There was evil and Faba was part of it. Yet he couldn’t help but admire those being good despite how easy it could be to turn cruel.

Gladion scoffed. “Silvally and I worked together. We’re partners. That’s what partners do. Which, if you had anyone who liked you enough to trust you with their life, you’d fucking know about.” He quirked an eyebrow. “Do your Pokemon even like you or do they simply live in fear on whether or not they’ll turn into experiment fodder if they don’t perform well?”

Humble? Faba? He’d believe that when Tepigs flew.

“My pokemon adore me just as much as I love them. None of them would end up in an experiment.”

Honestly, Faba was vile but he wouldn’t sacrifice his own team for science.
