Every now and again, Gladion thought back to that day. It started out normally enough with him and Lillie being left in the care of Wicke. His parents went off to research other dimensions. 

Not one thought to the fact that maybe some things should not be meddled with!

That maybe an unknown dimension could have risks. That Alola itself could wind up hurt by their studies.

He recalled Wicke having to tell him and Lillie what happened. Their dear mother disraught to the point of being unable to speak. He understood that.

What he still didn’t understand was neither parent considered holding back on dangerous experiments. 

Tonight, he sat on the Shady house roof alone. Lost in thought over how mad he was at his Dad. He was mad and hurt and forgotten.

Lusamine was content for Mohn to not remember but he wasn’t. He missed his dad every single day.

And he’d never know, would he?
