@aethersighted has requested an audience with the Lord Commander.
♚▐░▒ There is indeed NO REST for the righteous. Ere long after the path of tyranny was halted by the Warrior of Light, the Lord Commander is informed by the unsettling notice that a massive primal has emerged in the Dravanian Hinterlands, once home to the Sharlayan Colony settled in Eorzea. The close proximity to Ishgard raises concern, therefore a meeting is scheduled to consult with Archon Y’shtola regarding the situation. Just as he finished reviewing the reports regarding the primal, a knight entered, escorting the Miqo’te scholar into his office. ❝ —Thank you for coming Mistress Y’shtola for taking the time to brief me regarding the current status of the Primal. T’would seem the Goblins of the Illuminati are responsible for this summoning? ❞ Admittedly, Aymeric has little to no knowledge regarding the scavenging beastmen aside some knights getting into altercations with the Goblins who wander within Coerthas. ❝ Admittedly, our nation has little to no interactions with the Goblins. Could you pray tell me further regarding the ones responsible for summoning the monstrosity which has emerged in the former lands of Sharlayan? ❞
Ears perched atop her head, listening to all the sounds going around her, using them to help her maneuver through the Congregation of the Knights Most Heavenly, hearing the footfalls of those moving about her, judging distances via sound rather than sight, knowing she needed to be wary of how she used her abilities otherwise.
There was a gentle touch on the inside of her elbow as they moved into the Seat of the Lord Commander, ensuring she went into the room without running afoul of the walls or doors, her boots softly leaving their own sounds as she quickly crossed, clasping her hands in front of her and giving a small quarter bow, ducking her head in acknowledgement as the Lord Commander himself spoke.
“Of course, Lord Commander, it is only right that we ought to speak, as this is a rather serious situation. We could not leave Ishgard without knowledge of this situation, of those involved and what is like as not to happen.” Behind her, her tail swished slowly as her ears turned, listening to the quieter sounds within the room compared to where she had come from, adjusting her mental map of who was where accordingly.
“The Illuminati are a specific faction of Goblins, ones who seek knowledge at the expense of everything else from what we have seen thus far. That desire, that drive has taken them to the point of reconstructing things that are better left alone, so that they might learn what they wish regardless of the harm it causes those around.” Letting out a slow, long breath, she crossed her arms over her chest. “In addition to that, they have put their belief into this reconstruction, into Alexander, which has given the construction a life of their own, thus complicating matters. We are working to eliminate the threat to the people as quickly as possible with a minimum of damage to all involved, but it is not going as quickly as one might desire.”
