My thoughts on gender bent Dear Evan Hansen:

Everyone draws Girl Evan with short hair and Girl Connor with long hair but tbh I feel like that would actually be the opposite? Bc Boy Evan has short hair (aka the gender norm for boys) and Boy Connor has long hair (aka NOT the gender norm). 

So if we’re going off of what is expected of the canon gender, and changing the gender, the expectations change as well.

Basically what I’m saying is, Girl Evan would have long hair and Girl Connor would have short hair bc that is what is/isn’t expected of their gender.
