Earlier today in the Philippines, June 26, 2020, 20 youth and LGBTQ+ leaders were illegally arrested by cops during Pride March, a PEACEFUL protest. They followed social distancing during the protest and peacefully fought for their rights and against the Anti-Terror Bill, until the cops came. The cops wrongfully arrested and harrassed these people, including some media and journalists that were there. The worst part is that they cannot give a specific reason or proof on why they were arrested. This is clearly a violation of our constitutional rights and human rights. As of now, I do not have any news about any petitions that are being shared or about what is happening to them right now, but hopefully, this post could help people to be fully aware of what's happening to our fellow people. We simply cannot let this slide. #FreePride20 #JunkTerrorBill
