The queen squinted. "Don't apologize," she rolled her eyes and clasped hands behind her back, "Who are you? Where are you from?"

Chibi looked behind the queen, spotting two others…they looked to be guards…and now the turret girl was even more terrified. Was this person important? Royalty even? Her heart began to pound loudly against her chest in fear she was in some deep trouble.

"….I….I’m sorry…..I’m really sorry…" Tears beaded at the corner of her eyes. "……" the demand in the woman’s voice caused the small frail child to tremble and flinch. "….A…A…Aperture S-Science….a..and underground f-facility…..I….I s-some how ended up here…I…I don’t know how…..I’m sorry…I….I really am….."

Chrysalis grimaced. "Stop crying," she ordered before running over the words the child had stammered out. An underground facility? Here or in Equestria or...? No... The queen had seen the underground. Well. Of Canterlot, anyway. Could it be possible a coalition of people lived right under her nose?

Blinking, she straighted, looking down upon Chibi condescendingly. "What do you mean, you don't know how you got here? Do you use magic? Run? Or are you simply thick?"

"Being locked in a dungeon sounds fun, but not if you’re not there." The reply was easy, flirtatious, charming—in other words, all Cave. A slight flicker of nervousness passed through his mind, but he wouldn’t let it rule him; he was better than that. Besides, whatever she was threatening didn’t sound all that meaningful anyway. He could easily talk his way out of this.

"Why would a queen stoop to the low levels of groveling with a prisoner?" she scoffed, "And believe me - the only fun to be had there is sucking the love right out of you," Chrysalis grinned, purposefully baring her teeth, "You seem like you have a lot of it," she leaned forward on her toes towards him and curtly sniffed him, "Mm. Yes - what did you say your profession was? Science? Seems cold for someone harboring so much... affection. If I could even call it that. It's different."
