marlana's ex-boyfriend: he was in a relationship with marlana anywhere from 6 months to 5 years. she invited him on a “spring break” road trip with her and her friends that went terribly, terribly wrong. not only did she break up with him out of the blue on the trip, but it ended with her storming off to party too hard with her friends. instead of working things out, they ended up on the run the very same night, landing themselves in hiraeth. it’s been over 5 years now, so there are plenty of dynamic options (enemies who want nothing to do with each other, jealous exes, a will they-won’t they, trying to make friendship work, etc etc)! note: not a plotted ship!

xavier's younger/twin brother: from a prestigious and established family of virtue, xavier's younger brother is ranked queen himself. it was drilled in them from a young age that any queen career would do, but anything less than that would not receive their family's support. this character, to the public eye, has a reputation as pristine as his family's. whether he is extremely loyal to his brother and family is UTP, but they at least believe him to be. he's either already married to someone from a reputable family, or his family has been pressuring him to settle down and find someone, especially since xavier's marriage ended so poorly in recent years.

giselle's biological daughter: pregnancy cw -- when utp was born, giselle was only 17 and a daughter of rejects, and utp's biological father was an entirely unaware alice (visitor) who'd already left. born too early, utp was given to a rich virtue family who promised proper care and a bright future in exchange for no future contact from the birth family. they left hiraeth when utp was only 1, so she may or may not have any idea about hiraeth before arriving. giselle started a new life and tried to never think about it again, and as of today, only two other people are aware of utp's existence. lately, giselle regrets that a little extra, but there's been no way to even attempt searching for someone outside hiraeth, and she's quite certain utp wouldn't forgive her anyway.

jaren's older brother: the heir of the sinclairs, a family known for their picture-perfect family photos and close ties to founding families, this is the golden child of the three children. this a double-edged sword, for he both gets the majority of their father's attention and all the scrutiny and pressure that that entails. this may sound like the dream, but when his father treats him like his most prized chess piece, and his mother only cares about him when it benefits her for a socialite event, is it really all that glamorous?
