Prince Orion is a cuckoo (bird) Mauler.

He definitely acts like one.

I'm actually curious about him. His story is clearly not over.

I like that we'll get a playable villain again (say what you want, but there's no moral grayness in him. What he did to Kazim is absolutely inexcusable.)

That said, he is quite a tragic villain.

His mom definitely knew he was a mauler because he was probably born with wings. Did she bind his wings to hide them? Until he grew enough to make a decision to have them cut off? And he's still a teen. Where did he get such a strong desire to rule from?

There is definitely a parallel with Gervan (I wonder how big of a role exactly did Cyral play in Orion's corruption?). Second season in a row, one of our main antagonists is an evil teen backed by Cyran.

Also, there is a bit of a parallel with Ravion, who's also a prince, who was probably also born with wings and who was made to look more "human" (hopefully in a less bloody way. But who knows). But other than that, they couldn't have been less alike. (with Ravion genuinely caring for his people and voluntarily giving the crown away)

A funny comparison of how I imagined Ravion's face without a mask and how it actually turned out P.S. I really like that the Essail ended up looking as much like classic elves as possible, tall, refined and quite simple, without any animalistic features. I am fascinated by this combination of light and dark elves in their features and the gothic nature of their images. The longer I don't see them in my field of vision, the more I think about them ahah

First there were only these two lovebirds, then the purity police immediately arrived, and half a minute later it was a full-fledged traffic jam. No privacy!

Headcanon (or a theory).

So Ravion is a bit of a dragon (having been born in the condition of "full dragonization" and all).

And he said that he always loved beautiful things, even as a child.

So maybe it's a dragon behavior? A subconscious and uncontrollable compulsion to hoard "treasure". Hire good-looking people. Invite them to Salthorin.

(I can't blame him, though. Aren't we all guilty of it. What's a gacha game's central mechanic if not hoarding good looking people)

Also notice that they finally dropped the pretense that he has any interest in women:

Meeting Eironn: "Omg, Indris, who's this breathtaking wilder?"

Meeting Lyca: "Hey Lyca, could you send your brother to Salthorin, please? I hope he's beautiful.

(It's not even for himself, you see. It's for the hoard all these ladies who are depressed now that Indris has been taken)

And Indris clearly got used to it. He went from "Nobody knows WTF is wrong with him" to "Yeah, don't mind Ravion, he's just weird like this".

You can't put Ravion and these two juicy celestials in one dialogue and have them barely interact!!!

What might this new drinking game be? Your ideas?
