Lying is like walking through a series of massive spider webs. you may make it through the first, but you will eventually slow down and get stuck if you are persistent with it.

We need to evaluate whether conflicts we have with others are rooted in truth, or false opinion which stems from our own overlooked arrogance. Our minds hold the capability to poison our perceptions of others. This would become clear if we were to have some sort of a brain-refresh so that our relationships could start again with a clean state, but that’s unrealistic. Look at how you treat strangers, the first interactions you have with those you know nothing of or have heard nothing about. Is there a difference in the amount of compassion you exude in front of them and those you know closely? The answer shouldn’t be yes.
What are seasons but a reminder to us of the cyclical nature of all life? One day, the grass is colonised by insects, decorated by flowers and illuminated by the Sun. Then, eventually decrees it so that even these insignificant things are met with a fate as weighted by humility as our own: burial. I guess that’s what hope is based in, the knowledge of cycles, absolute faith in the same eventuality that entombed life, to bring it back once again.

You have to be odd to be number one!
one of my favourite things in the world is casual intimacy. a small hand on your back when you’re in crowded streets. a gentle kick from where they’re sitting across the table. a head on the shoulder, a hand in your hand, a squeeze on the arm as they’re walking past you. and i think maybe love isn’t made up of grand gestures or explosive displays but that it’s made up of the little things. the little things that say i’m here and i care for you and that your life has intertwined so deeply into mine that that there’s no need to think, because casual intimacy comes easyÂ
You need motivation to study? Let me introduce you to spiteful studying. When you study a subject to prove someone wrong. When you spend hours writing up notes so that you can get that grade and smile smugly at the teacher who predicted you a lower grade. Find someone to prove wrong, it can be a teacher, a parent, friend or just to prove society that you’re so much more capable then they say you are!
Trust me, it works.
