uh. Fuck I mean like the way you draw characters even if not in the original style they still look correct. Like more correct than the source material sometimes. You get the vibes in a way i never knew existed your art is very groovy 👍👍👍👍

That means so much to me that you think that :DD I try to make the source material as cohesive as possible while also adding my own headcanons and ideas in there - I actually spent a little under a year practicing drawing William and Michael and the others before coming to a point where I was happy enough to post anything here... mainly William and Michael 👀

Basically the rule of thumb is, as far as I know: to keep the drawings accurate to the character, study the character (like, a SHIT ton... find their deepest motivations and fears and all that if you REALLY wanna make them accurate), and draw the character in a way that fits THEM first and foremost (while being respectful of the source material!). The personality HAS to come first. Don't draw them with the AIM of making them pretty or ugly if that's not important to their character!! (I mean, if you're specifically trying to make it accurate then don't do this. Otherwise, do whatever you wanna do 👀) Just let them be THEM and the rest will follow!
