instead of killing characters off at random for shock value, may i propose a hip new trend: keeping characters alive at random for shock value. by all logic, this character should be dead. there’s no possible explanation for how they continue to shuffle ‘round this mortal coil. maybe we literally saw them die onscreen back in the passe era of shock value deaths. and yet, there they are. alive before our eyeballs.

Thanks for saying the unsaid lmao. Helen and Max had a whole emotional affair and I always see it being swept under the rug. I mean like 10 episodes in the man fully says “I Love My Doctor” like sir hUH. Go visit your bedridden wife maybe. I hate that they fridged her but I’m also lowkey glad because I think they might have had Max and Helen physically cross the line had Georgia been alive and that’s not it at all.
I've been in this fandom since the show started and I said it back then that Helen and Max were having an emotional affair. The biggest difference is that they were both in denial about it. They were always under the guise of friendship until Helen said she had to pick between being his doctor, friend, and deputy. Neither of them hit on the other as openly as Tevor did with Iggy.
But Akash noticed, and if Georgia had been allowed to live she would have seen it too. I always said that they were very strategic in how they dealt with that because they didn't want us to see Max as a villain. They were in such denial that I don't think they would have crossed the line physically.
Sadly, Iggy's narrative is riddled with insecurity which is one of the reasons people might cheat.
Everything about this is 🔥!
Yes, (most of the) fandom fully accepts that Max and Helen were having an emotional affair in season 1, but as soon as Akash and the clairvoyant called them out on it, Helen put up boundaries. (Max was still an idiot about it though 🙄) And it was because of the guilt of the emotional affair that it took them so long to finally get together. I personally don’t think they would have physically crossed the line had Georgia not died. They’re too morally upstanding.
Iggy is driving me insane! I used to love him and Martin together, but his narcissistic personality disorder is really coming out this season. It causes him to go behind Martin’s back and hire Trevor because he liked the confidence boost. He then gaslighted (gaslit?) Martin when confronted about it. The fact that Iggy even had to hide all this and ask Trevor if something happened between them means they crossed an emotional boundary. His insecurities and dissatisfaction with his life is something he should be talking about with his husband, not his flirtatious subordinate employee.
Don’t get me wrong, I really want Martin and Iggy to work out, but Iggy needs to learn a hard lesson first.
Co-signing every word.⤴️⤴️⤴️
Martin and Iggy are having the conversation Georgia and Max never did about his relationship with Helen...

These two have such an awesome, real friendship. I'd love the origin story.
Iggy drank cheap Jersey "champagne" all night, at least until Gladys took the bottle away. I don't remember her drinking, and she looked fresh as a daisy next day. Max drank beer and probably stopped early so he could watch and enjoy Helen cut loose. Lauren is sober, so she only had water and wings. Mia drank 2 of those shots, back to back. Helen had 4. Wilder and the Aussie went shot for shot, and Casey had at least one with them. I don't remember what Floyd drank?
Anyway, just reconstructing the drinking games that led to disaster. The bartender was definitely the only person who'd have had easy access to all their drinks, so I'm not surprised Wilder figured it out and went after him. I love her.
Do you ever feel like the universe is trying to tell you something? Only all the time.

They're just so sweet together 🥹
this whole situation is very funny

I really love her. Such a great addition to the cast.
i pray in 2022 women stop creating their own pain through forcing relationships with men that don’t care and invest their time in things that actually offer them nurturing, growth, and fulfillment
for all the people commenting “and same for men” you are failing to realize that your personal experience as a man does not reshape reality. you PERSONALLY over prioritizing your relationship is not equivalent to being socially conditioned to put others before yourself. majority of girls have been taught to prioritize men/romantic relationships and have to unlearn it to prioritize themselves. you singularly making space for someone you shouldn’t have is human, but isn’t in relation to social conditioning. this post is for and about women.

I'm pleading with someone to do a supercut of Max's calls/vms to Helen. That man loves his baby. If he can't make puppy eyes at her, he's gonna let her know by the sound of his voice.
