Queer Rock Camp is a music camp for LGBTQIA youth ages 21 and under located in Olympia, WA

We believe in building community and youth (self) empowerment through music. We see music as a tool of resiliency that gives voice to a population that is usually silenced. Campers choose an instrument, receive musical instruction from queer musicians, form a band, and work together to write an original song. Campers also attend incredible workshops about drag, collective liberation, screen printing and so much more! Both volunteers and campers come from all over the country to attend camp, and there is a special group of volunteers who act as host families for those coming from out of town. Queer Rock Camp is a life-changing and magical experience where folks are able to express themselves honestly and authentically through music. 

Queer Rock Camp is July 7-11th! 

Camper applications are due May 1st Volunteer applications are due May 9th 

We are committed to Queer Rock Camp remaining accessible to ALL youth, and as a result camp is a free program with a suggested donation of $325. Campers are encouraged to donate whatever amount is meaningful to them. We are entirely funded by donations and need our community’s help to make camp happen.
