Parker: One thing Parker had was international travelling but he had a job to do a task set by his brother. Breathing in the America air as if it was something different from London's. Parker straightened out his Gucci suit before making his way over to the car, where the driver opened the door for him. "Brava Magazine." He told the driver before he got in. Once the driver shut the door and drove. New York, place was poison and why his brother even came here was beyond him. When he felt the car stop fifteen minutes later, the door open and Parker looked up at the CitySpire before he moved inside. Heading up to the floor that Brava was on. Heading inside, he spoke with some people before being directed to Florence's assistant. "Miss. Devlin, I need to speak to her its of the up most importance that I speak with her. And forgive my rudeness, love." Charmer just like his younger brother but he was more noble and kind compared to Thomas. The woman told him to wait in Florence's office and that was what he did. Heading over to the window, he glanced out of it, keeping his back to the door.
Florence: Florence was sitting in a very boring meeting with the CEO of Valentino, desperately wishing she could leave. The man had a tendency to ramble and drone on. It was enough to make anyone fall asleep. It was a miracle when her assistant entered the conference room and interrupted them. She whispered into Florence's ear, something about an English man that needed to see her right away. Florence's mind immediately went to Thomas. Had he been released? There was no way he'd been found. It would have been plastered all over the news and she would have heard about it. But maybe the killer had let him go. But why? And why would he come straight to her? Excusing herself from the meeting, she hurried to her office and opened the door to find...not Thomas. Frowning slightly, she closed the door behind her and spoke to the stranger. "Good afternoon, sir. How may I help you?"
Parker: Oh no, it wasn't Thomas. It was't Thomas at all. He was in fact very different then his younger brother. He wore suits, and he was an honorable man. Not to mention he was training to pick up their family company when it was time. Hearing someones voice, Parker turned around facing the woman in front of him. "Good afternoon, ma'am. I'm sorry to disturb you on such short notice." He held his hand out to Florence. "I'm Parker, Parker Moore."
Florence: She took his hand and tilted her head at his name. He had to be related to Thomas somehow. Now that he mentioned his last name, she could kind of see the resemblance. Maybe a brother or a cousin. She put on a smile and shook his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you. And don't worry about the disturbance. I was in a very boring meeting. How may I help you, Mr. Moore?"
Parker: Shaking her hand gently, he kissed it a moment later. It was just how they worked, Thomas was lost in the ways that he was that they grew up on. Releasing her hand moments later. "My brother has been missing for a week from what I have gathered. Which brings me here to this... toxic city." Reaching into his suit jacket, he pulled out a letter with her name on it. "I gave my word to my brother that I would deliver two letters to two people myself. And you, Miss. Delvin were one of those people. Jana Hart is the second. But I must stay in town until my brother is found. Believe me, last thing your toxic city needs is my family on it."
Florence: Brother. So he was Thomas's brother. Florence listened in silence, bristling slightly every time he called her home a toxic city. She watched him pull out the letter, taking it with a furrowed brow. "First, please stop referring to New York as a toxic city. This is my home and has been my entire life. Second, I'm sorry about your brother. I hope he's found quickly. Do you have a place to stay while you're here?"
Parker: Yes, he was Thomas's brother but his older brother. Probably around the same age as Florence herself. "Please accept my apologies, Miss. Delvin. I do. I'm staying at The Waldorf Astoria. Would you like me to leave for a moment to read the letter?"
Florence: She took a deep breath and nodded. "That's a good hotel. If you um... If you need anything while you're hear, don't hesitate to ask." She shook her head and sat down at the desk, opening the letter. "No that's fine. You can have a seat on the couch if you'd like."
Parker: "Also expensive but cost is no matter. Thank you Miss. Devlin." Going over to the desk, he took a seat, crossing his legs while Florence read the letter. 'Dear Florence, If you have gotten this letter that means you have met my brother Parker and he has kept his word. Don't fret, love he wouldn't read it. Its not his style to do so. In Jana's letter I told her about us. So careful, love she might have words for you. But this is not why I'm writing to you. Inside of the envelope is a key. That key is to a safe in First Capital Bank. Go to the bank, tell the clerk you need to get back into the safes. The number is 469, he will ask you for a code word which is Blackbird. Once you get back there ask him for a moment alone. Go to the safe number, open the box and inside the box is everything. Everything that I have. All of the information on the Second Generations that I was looking into it. My badge and gun. Also a recording from Damon Smith's engagement party and all that I encountered while I was there. Be careful with this information, love. Might get you killed. I felt like I've been followed these past few days to be honest and its not just by Shadowplay or Ryan Johns. Someone else. So be safe, love. Also I wish we could have fucked one last time before something like this happened. -Thomas E. Moore.'
Florence: Florence read the letter in silence, taking in a sharp breath about half way through. This was all too much for her. She took the key out of the envelope and turned it over in her hand. She wanted to roll her eyes at his last sentence. She was going to slap him the next time she saw him. Looking up at Parker, she dropped the letter and folded her hands. "Mr. Moore. Did your brother tell you anything about the nature of our...relationship?"
Parker: Hearing her voice finally, Parker looked back at her, shaking his head. "No, I was just told to bring you, and Jana Hart letters from him. I didn't question it. I just clean up his messes. So whatever he has done, just tell me and I will do my best to make it right."
Florence: She sighed and chuckled, shaking her head. "There's no mess to clean up. He and I are coworkers. For the government. The jobs that you know are just covers for what we really do. I can't go into details, but just know that the government is doing everything they can to find your brother. You should also know that he and I were sleeping together. It was nothing serious, but the police did question me when they found my fingerprints and DNA at his apartment. Though I have nothing to do with his disappearance. Have you given Ms. Hart her letter yet?"
Parker: "Wait..my brother worked for your government? He would have told me that much. But then again Thomas being Thomas, he likes to keep secrets." Sighing a little bit, Parker wasn't surprised. He stood up and made his way over to Florence's desk. "You are telling me that he cheated on the woman that he brought home to meet and who my next delivery is to? Typical Thomas. And no I have not yet."
Florence: She nodded at his question and listened to him speak. "We're part of a top secret government agency. He couldn't tell you. Whether he wanted to or not." She leaned back in her chair and nodded again. "It...was unexpected the first time. Every time after that, well..." She shrugged and looked away. "We couldn't stay away from each other." Wonderful. She could probably expect another visitor in the coming days. "Well, if you wouldn't mind, could you please give me a heads up when you do? I'd like to be prepared for the wrath of a woman that has been cheated on." She gave a small smile, but it didn't reach her eyes. Nothing about this situation was good. Nothing.
Parker: Parker held up his hand, shaking his head. "I do not wish to know about my brothers sexual conquests and you, Miss. Devlin are just that. Even if he was in a relationship. Do not expect anything less then sex from him because you will not get. Don't think he is going to leave Miss. Hart for you because he wont." He sounded as if he was trying to convince himself and not her. "I plan on visiting, Miss. Hart next so she will get her letter then."
Florence: Florence raised an eyebrow and smirked. "You honestly think I want your brother to leave his girlfriend? It's nothing like that. I can't stand your brother on a personal level. All he is to me is just sex. I want nothing more from him." Taking a deep breath, she nodded. "Okay. Then I'll be ready for her. Is there anything else that you need?" She stood up, leaning against the side of her desk and crossed her arms.
Parker: "How much is going to take to end the sexual relations between yourself and my brother?" Parker asked as he stood up straight, looking over woman who was now leaning on the side of her desk. "No, nothing that I can think of, love."
Florence: Florence laughed outright. "It's not going to take anything. I can end them whenever I want. Whenever he wants. Although it's not exactly something that concerns you is it, Mr. Moore? We are two consenting adults who can do whatever the hell we want." With a nod, she glanced down at the key on her desk. "Well you know where to find me, if you do need something."
Parker: "It is when he hurts an innocent girl. My brother has destroyed enough people along his way. I will not allow him to do this to her." Nodding his head. "So I do. Good day, Miss. Devlin." He said this as he turned around to walk out of Florence's office.
Florence: "Well it's too late now isn't it? We can't change the past." She hissed out before standing up straight. "Good day, Mr. Moore." She didn't bother to smile as she watched him leave.
