Adriana: Happy Birthday!!!!
Adriana: I have cake and coupons for an all included spa day awaiting for you.
Adriana: Am I your second favorite daughter yes or yes?
Bobbi: 💜💜
Bobbi: you didn't have to, sweetheart but i'm not one to turn free cake and spa days down
Bobbi: also for the record, i love you and rey equally
Bobbi: will you be joining me on this spa day?
briannacarter:
“Yes, thank you, I’m aware it looks disorganized. It’s too small and I haven’t had a chance to figure out how to make everything fit. The area in the science building had more space.”
“yeah, no kidding,” bobbi shook her head as she carefully stacked her papers near a few tubes. there were a lot more setbacks to her work, and presumably everyone else’s, following the destruction of the science building. but, she would make due, somehow. no matter how annoying it was. focusing her attention on sharon’s daughter, bobbi spoke again, sighing sharply. “i wonder when it’ll get fixed. as much as we hate the cramped areas, i’m sure the younger students hate them more.”
@cfhawkeyes-kid
she wasn’t the best at this. an understatement, really, given her two divorces and possibly any other failed relationships in her life. regardless, bobbi tried her goddamned best to be there for her children in situations like this. she was there for adriana when gerry left abruptly, and now frankie with... whatever this was. of course, in her own fashion, the blonde literally pulled up a wikihow page to show her son. “i’m only kidding,” a pause. “but what i am serious about, is does my little boy finally have a girl in his life?” bobbi teased, a smile now forming upon her features, “or is it a boy? you know we won’t judge you, sweetheart.” she made a mental note to text adriana afterwards --- maybe her eldest daughter would know something.
txt: bobbi ⇆ reyna
REYNA: hey ma, yeah i'd love that actually!
REYNA: MY BABY! i can't believe i'm too busy to see him :(
BOBBI: i knew you wouldn't pass it up
BOBBI: your dad was having doubts you'd be free, he now owes me $20
BOBBI: he misses you a lot, kiddo. the other day i mentioned your name in conversation and he visibly got more excited
BOBBI: maybe we should sneak him into your dorm, i'm sure the administration would love that
txt: bobbi ⇆ reyna
BOBBI: hey kiddo... i know everything's been hectic, but you wanna go out for some lunch?
BOBBI: your dad said he found a place that allows dogs so we could bring ka-zar, too. like a family outing
slavyanskaya-ten:
Pulling up outside Bobbi’s, Natasha grabbed the two bottles of Russian Vodka from the passenger seat and got out of the car, heading towards the front door. After everything that had happened the past couple of weeks, first with Clint’s mission going south and now with the kids all kicking off, she was sorely in need of an evening of drinking with her friend. Reaching the door, she raised her free hand to ring the bell, and waited.
@agent019
as if on cue from the ringing bell, ka-zar decided it was time to mimic it by barking, even as she went to get it ( she wondered for a moment if he did this with lance, or if it was just with her ). opening the door, however, the blonde was greeted by a familiar face... and the noted promise of alcohol was delivered upon. luckily adriana hadn’t come around yet, or else this whole thing would’ve gotten worse, no doubt --- the group chat was enough, and having to deal with it in person too? that was something bobbi didn’t have enough energy for at the moment. “hey,” she greeted as she leaned over to pick up the corgi, “who knew getting an alcohol delivery was this easy?” it was an attempt at lightening the mood, that’s for sure. but as she stepped aside and gestured for natasha to come in, ka-zar barked again, happily. “and apparently, it looks like i’m not the only one excited to see you.”
Kim -- Bobbi
KIM: why are you in the lab?
KIM: oh, wait, damn. Sorry?
BOBBI: why are you sorry, kim?
Kim -- Bobbi
Kim: Hey, where are you?
Kim: I need to talk to you.
BOBBI: in the lab, just finishing up
BOBBI: what's wrong?
profbarton:
the one person he had been truly surprised that hadn’t showed up yet was bobbi, he figured she would have been the first person to show up once she realised that the phone call he had promised her didn’t exactly come. clint knew if it had been more than 48 hours from a mission ending that he would be immediately messaging her to see what was up. it was the beauty of their relationship. it was still built on love and respect, but they were also happy for each other and their lives. just because things didn’t last forever with them like they once pictured didn’t mean it wouldn’t with someone else. she still meant the absolute world to him, that wouldn’t ever change. he had been half asleep when he noticed the blonde woman move inside, rubbing at his eyes to hopefully wake himself up, but he didn’t greet her in any way, remaining quiet which had to confuse the woman quite a bit.
@agent019
she knew something was up, there was no way she hadn’t. it came with their job, and while she knew that’s just the way things were, it never faltered the nervousness. especially as she began to hear not-so-hushed murmurs around the halls of shield and the academy alike as she settled back in from her own mission. something about clint being held in medical; why wasn’t she called? sure they might not have been married anymore, but that shouldn’t change anything. overall it hadn’t, she knew, yet the prospect of not even being informed until after the fact? she didn’t like it.
she didn’t want to hear from rumors and whispers. bobbi was one of shield’s best, with level seven clearance no less --- why wasn’t she told immediately? did they think the news would distract her from her own objective? with a frustrated sigh, bobbi kept her nerve as she went into the room clint was staying in. hell, she almost called him her husband again when speaking with a nurse moments prior ( old habits, she guessed ) but thankfully the nurse was gracious enough not to comment on it.
when he didn’t great her arrival, that pang of guilt from earlier on threatened to resurface. the kids were adults now, they always knew the risks bobbi and clint both ran whenever they got called out. but, something about this particular scenario rubbed the wrong way; so it looked like she would do the talking right now. “sorry i didn’t bring you anything, sport, but a ‘get well soon’ card just didn’t seem to cut it this time.” she tried to lighten the mood, if only faintly, but still a lack of response --- speaking, specifically --- didn’t help the frown that pulled at her lips.
“alright look. if you want to give me the silent treatment, fine, but at least listen to me. i should have been there for the kids, and i should have done something the moment you didn’t call me.” but what could she have done, really? leave her mission before it was completed? bobbi wasn’t a master spy because she allowed her emotions get the best of her. “... although, who could blame me if i said i chalked it up to you simply forgetting?”
however moving further into the room and thoroughly ignoring the chair she could sit in, bobbi began to wish she had her staves with her. of course weapons weren’t typically permitted in here, for obvious reasons, but twirling them was a way she concentrated, a way she could channel any building stress. god, how selfish of her was it to be thinking of her own budding stress when her ex-husband was laying in a hospital bed? or how selfish of her was it when her children --- their children --- were going through the backlash from this? having a parent get injured was never easy. giving a wry chuckle and a small, pleading smile, bobbi could only run a hand through her hair. “can’t believe i’m saying this but it’d really help if you said something right now.”

crlylanism:
A night out was exactly what the doctor ordered. From basically running pym tech to running around like and ant she had felt over worked. She decided to hit up one of her favorite clubs that she hadn’t been to in a while. Headed towards the bar she passed a familiar face. “Well, fancy seeing you here.”
with everything going on, maybe bobbi shouldn’t have been at a club, of all places. but no one said she was perfect ( hell, far from it ), and maybe one or two tequila mockingbird cocktails would help with the edge. although the bartender never made it the same as she did herself, bobbi wasn’t about to complain. as she took a sip of her first drink, the familiar voice rang in her ears. “likewise,” sometimes it was like whiplash realizing how old carly was these days --- realizing how old adriana was, too, by extension. the thought brought upon a bittersweet smile. “finally getting some off time, i’m guessing?” bobbi asked, offering up the empty bar stool beside her, at least for the time being.
adrianabarton:
“If you come any closer to me I’ll tackle you to the ground,” Adriana murmured through gritted teeth. There was a reason she had chosen to use the academy installations to blow up stamina and that reason was that she didn’t want to see the pity looks of her coworkers. Of anyone, really. And yes, she was on the floor and the person probably just wanted to be nice, perhaps didn’t even intend to help her but the words left her lips before she had time to stop them. Her reaction definitely had nothing to do with what happened to Clint. Not at all.
“i guess it’s a good thing i’ve been through a lot worse than getting tackled to the ground, then.” bobbi crossed her arms loosely, eyes cast down towards her daughter carefully, almost cautiously. while she could begin to piece things together, bobbi didn’t have the whole story yet, which she hated. she also hated knowing full well that anything could have happened to clint on that mission ( something that caused her more concern due to the fact she never received that promised call. ) and if she was right in her deduction, he sent a text to the kids as well. “sweetheart...” her voice softer than moments before as a twinge of guilt wanted to claw its way to the surface ( bobbi was starting to feel as if she should’ve been here and not on a mission of her own, that she should’ve put her children first. ) “c’mon, let’s get you cleaned up and we can talk. maybe get some food in you,” she paused before adding, “that is... if you’re hungry.”
