Shayera’s Odyssey || Shayera, Odyssey, Thorn, Claw, Deux
Pod hisses quietly in the back of medical lab, power cables and earth equipment jury rigged into whatever ports seem able to take them. Meanwhile pod sits silently, the soft hiss of escaping gas being vented from its interior the only signs of life within.
Beside it Agent Odyssey monitors the readouts flashing by on it’s tiny data screen, tapping away as dozens of alien glyphs seem to whirr by on screen. The rest of the faculty on site loom nearby, monitoring the whole affair quietly.
Deux stood silently, one arm crossed over the other as the almost silent room was occupied by a thick cloud of indifference. He could say he was unphased by the happenings of the night, but he’d be lying. There was worry in him, but it wasn’t visible. It was well hidden. He just stood there, watching carefully over what Odyssey was doing. Letting out a deep breath, he checked his watch.
“I have to agree with Thorn... I know this is of high importance, but I can’t misspend much more time here.” He moved closer to the computer, pointing to the screen. “Almost done, Agent Odyssey?”
