Athena gave the boy a deadpan look. Fully aware that she was probably, in fact, not fine at all. More so mentally rather than physically, but no one needed to know that. It was really none of their business. And plus, it was a lot better to just keep things to herself now, with all the lingering doubts she had. â Okay, first of all, I wasnât unconscious. I was fighting that. Thatâs what the pain medication was for. And second, I really am fine. Honestly, itâs nothing to fret about. Itâs not like Iâm dead or anything. Though, I honestly donât see the big deal about death, itâs not all that frightening. â
Patroclus gave her a look, one that was basically screams are you serious? Really though, he shouldnât have been so surprised. He and Athena might not be all that close, but if one thing was obvious about the girl, it would be how stubborn she gets most of the times. âI fail to see the difference,â he stated matter of factly. âEither way, you were pretty close to dying and you really couldnât function, at all. So no, unless the doctor gave you a green light, you really should rest again now.â
