A new fan-made trequel to My5tcrimson EXE game

Okay, I'm a bit late to this, but the user MY5TCrimsonX (not to be confused with My5tcrimson, the character's actual creator) recently confirmed that they are developing a trequel to the My5tcrimson X duology. This is in celebration of the anniversary of the original 2012 duology, featuring the announcement with exquisite artwork as a tribute to the character.

Happy birthday to My5tcrimson X—or The Crimson X—the Sonic.exe from the original game released on this very date by the author originally known as Crimson The Bat, who is currently known by the same name as his character.

No matter how many years go by, classics are never forgotten—especially the originals.

Some help pls (Gacha and Exe Topic, and maybe Lost Media)

Okay, asking for help, for something so silly like this is stratospherically embarrassing, but I need someone to help me find a video—a Gacha video, related to Sonic.exe, and I've been asking around on wikis and such. Here is the description:

It was a Gacha Life video—though, given the style, I'm pretty sure it was actually Gacha Club—centered on Eggman. The video featured Eggman washing his hands in a bathroom with black-and-white tiled floors and metal walls. While washing up, Robotnik muses on what a massive threat Sonic.exe could become; this thought weighs so heavily on his mind that Eggman briefly removes his glasses, revealing red irises (a reference to Archie Robotnik). At one point, Orbot (the round red robot from modern Sonic games) enters the bathroom to bring Robotnik food; annoyed by the interruption, Eggman glares coldly at his servant, further revealing his red eyes.

I have some gaps in my memory, though; I think the video also involved Eggman reflecting on Starved Eggman (The red and canival Eggman)—or the Starved Eggman from another universe appeared out of nowhere to discuss something with his variant—and showed Robotnik slowly losing his mind. That’s all I can recall. I remember leaving a long comment explaining to someone that the red-eyed Eggman was a reference to the Archie comics rather than Eggman being an ".exe" entity, but beyond that, I really can't find it. I’d appreciate any help.

It was a pretty badass video, to be honest.

EXEs I’d love to see interacting with MX and others

Wistful, aka Ayana

Wistful is undoubtedly the kind of "victim archetype" MX would love to terrorize.

I feel that an interaction between the two would essentially be a confrontation—not a physical one or a rivalry like he might have with other entities, but rather a scenario of pure psychological torment inflicted by MX. I imagine MX breaking the poor Ayana—both physically and mentally—and ruthlessly exploiting the trauma from her human life (Her fear of adulthood) to mock her. Meanwhile, Wistful would fly into a blind rage, as is typical for her in this case of scenario. The problem is, she would be facing an enemy who is vastly, overwhelmingly superior. Before delivering a quick death, MX would undoubtedly taunt her, highlighting how pathetic her attempts to escape her problems were—going so far as to create her own Sonic fantasy world, a world that now belongs to him. Wistful would surely feel completely overwhelmed and brought crashing down to reality, and MX would cap it all off with a line that fits Wistful's story ironically well: "INNOCENCE DOESN'T GET YOU FAR."

Beyond MX, I feel like Wistful and Lucas would get along well—sort of like a small, scared baby meeting another baby who is even smaller and more scare, if that makes sense. Wistful would try to protect Lucas from MX like a big sister; I think that would be pretty adorable.

Yokubo

Okay, hear me out, this stupid video inspired me, but hear me out.

MX is undoubtedly a force comparable—if not equal—to Lord X, though unlike X, he is a wilder, action-oriented, and somewhat brutish sort of guy. Yokubo wouldn't respect him the way he respects his master, but he would hold a certain degree of respect for him—though, coming from Yokubo, it would be hard to distinguish that respect from flirtation. Yokubo would certainly be intrigued by the kind of entity MX is: not a VOID entity, but one ancient and dark enough to resemble one. He would also be fascinated by MX's immense power—a power that would fascinate anyone strong enough to withstand an attack from him—an attack that would instantly tear apart anyone lacking the necessary strength—. Meanwhile, MX would view Yokubo as an obnoxious nuisance, a fool, feeling no respect for him beyond the fact that he is one of X's guardians.

The silliest interaction between Yokubo and MX would be one where the former asks, "Why so small today?" and the latter replies, "Get out of my sight." Yokubo would also be the type to constantly talk about MX, then claim, "I don't talk about MX that much," only to keep right on talking about him without realizing it. Yokubo would undoubtedly feel insulted by MX treating him with such insolence and disdain—yet, at the same time, that very attitude would make him even more drawn to MX.

Idk, the idea of Yokubo being a fanboy without even realizing it appeals to me (plus, I like the dynamic of a big guy finding a small guy—who persistently tries to get close to him—annoying).

... I just realized something... Am I shipping these two?

Needlem0use, aka Sarah Henderson (But not with MX)

Okay, so this isn't about MX and Sarah interacting, but rather Lucas and Sarah—which is kind of cheating, but whatever.

I don't have much to add, other than being curious to see how Sarah interacts with a victim who is very young—someone who has already endured torment at the hands of another capricious, evil entity, but who, just like her, simply wants to rest. Idk, I feel like Lucas would look cute with any character who could play the role of an older sibling, and seeing Sarah show affection for someone who—like her—really needs it, is just so sweet.

Sarah would be the type of overprotective big sister who keeps a close eye on Lucas; at times, Lucas might find her presence strange or creepy—even terrifying when seeing her true face as she interacts with her victims—yet at other moments, he’d find her comforting and warm, and vice versa. I think it would reach a point where Sarah would try to protect Lucas from the other entities at all costs.

It’s also worth adding that I’m fascinated by the concept of an 8-year-old boy—in the avatar of a chubby, mustachioed plumber—acting like a scared dog alongside an intimidating and somewhat feminine, purple, humanoid hedgehog.

Everybody hates Chris (A Long Post About Eggman Vessel's)

Wanted to talk about Eggman's vessels in general —but mainly Paul— and how even a character who is dead in canon —like Paul—can continue to have future repercussions. Eggman's vessels are arguably the most enigmatic characters in the Souless Saga, mainly because their personalities and relationships with X remain a mystery. Paul is one of the most tragic figures in Souless Sonic; he is a victim who had already given up on X's world—and whose very existence was erased by X. Yet, there are far more intriguing aspects to the character's backstory:

At some point in his life—whether in the real world or in X's world—Paul did something that X himself finds either amusing or unpleasant (assuming, of course, that the tweet in question is read from X's perspective). Regardless, the fact remains that Paul definitely did something—or several things—bad.

His actions were significant enough to put him on X's level. According to Joe, we will eventually learn the details, but consider this: the Souless Sonic Strawpage confirms that Paul remains dead within the story. This means that whatever Paul has done, we won't see him in the act of committing it, instead, we will likely see the impact his actions had on the other characters; it is even possible that Paul's actions were a key reason why X gave him a definitive death and a final farewell in "X's Lament." Speaking of "X's Lament," while much of the lyrics are admittedly meta-narrative, the song is literally X saying goodbye to Paul—a point made clear at the very beginning—though other parts of the song may well hold further significance within the story itself; Did Paul perhaps enjoy certain aspects of X's world? Did he ever do anything on X's behalf against the other victims? Remember, there is a possibility that human characters just as evil as X himself exist.

This reminds me of My5tcrimson's game: before Tails and Knuckles, Eggman remains smiling during the character selection—with Tails and Knuckles being X's victims—but when his own turn comes to be the prey, his smile vanishes and fear sets in. Could Paul serve as a parallel to this?

We might be overthinking it; Paul could have done "bad" things unintentionally. The phrase "Don't be appalled"—which Raven says is a cheeky pun on "Don't be a Paul"—might imply that Paul was simply a carefree, somewhat foolish person who didn't cause anything on purpose, but X reminds him of it... But on a metanarrative level, this might be X telling the player not to be like Paul, which would be interesting.

I still believe all this implies that, even though we see nothing of Paul in the main continuity, we will see something of him in the Lord Mortis continuity. Perhaps Paul's personality and actions did intrigue Bandado enough for him to possess his body, besides being an Eggman vessel. I suspect Bandado didn't eliminate Paul the way X would have—that doesn't fit Bandado's personality—but rather kept him on as an assistant or a "shoulder-perched sidekick" within the vessel, much like the relationship between Exeller and Sonic. It would be interesting, it would mark a notable difference between X and Bandado.

Speaking of other Eggman vessels, they all seem to follow a pattern: being the most rebellious or aggressive of the victims.

Just look at Alice's father; he is Lord X's pseudo-arch-nemesis—quite impressive, considering he is merely a human— capable of throwing hands with X. There is also the fact that neither he nor X deserves a child like Alice; this casts doubt on the man's parenting skills, as well as his morality, given that he is on the same level as X when it comes to fatherhood.

Eggman's vessels also seem to be the ones X despises the most—or simply has no interest in—judging by how often he appears to snatch away and erase their souls.

Not to mention the Route B timeline, where an entity inhabiting an Eggman vessel overthrows X and turns the world upside down, bringing it to its knees.

Perhaps all of this implies that X creates Eggman vessels for people who have generally done bad things, thereby assigning them the role of the villain.

I’ve updated the EXEs and Horrorbrews tier list I posted a few days ago, adding some details and making a few revisions

I really enjoy doing this, as it’s simple and helps me unwind. Once again, credit goes to the artists responsible for the renders and illustrations used; that said, I created some of the transparent images myself. To ensure this isn't just an empty repost, I wanted to highlight a few points regarding my perspective on several of these entries: This entire power structure is based on a meta-contextual power scale; this means that stories preceding others are inherently more powerful due to their meta-narrative nature, and direct incarnations of these stories are equally or slightly less powerful. Creators like Jack Gore (creator of All-Father) and JoeDB (creator of Lord X) have employed this type of power scaling. I also believe that, to qualify for certain categories—aside from simply predating another story—a character requires a specific status (whether conferred by the creator or the fandom) that elevates them above the rest. I also wanted to add that the "System Errors" category is reserved for characters who—in my opinion and according to canon—completely surpass the Overlords. Examples include Bandado, whose superiority over all versions of X is confirmed, and Executable M, the most powerful Horrorbrew of Inferno (who even briefly possessed MX).
