Mid Week Check In
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done this....so here goes...
Listening to: Jimmy Fallon do his opening bit as my husband watches The Tonight Show. {but if you care, I’ve been listing to pop music a LOT lately, which is REALLY unlike me.}
Obsessing over: Celery. My co-worker eats raw veggies, fresh fruit, and a few slices of cheese and a couple crackers for lunch every day - and it has TOTALLY rubbed off on me. I’ve been on a major celery kick lately, and eat an entire stalk to myself each week.
I’m feeling: Slightly crummy lately. Our entire family has been passing a cough/cold back and forth for the last MONTH and I’m so over it.
Working on: Tonight, I’m working on entering orders for my little Scentsy side gig. Yes, I’m still your resident Direct Sales lady. ;)
I’m annoyed by: The way my house looks lately. Emmy turned 3 this week (I’ll have to post about that later, her party was SO FUN), and my husband and I have been super busy - so our house as taken a backseat and it is A MESS. Plastic toys everywhere, dishes piled up, folded laundry not put away. Send help. Or a maid.
Anticipating: My church’s fall craft fair this coming weekend! I’ve been in charge of it for 4 years now, and am SO EXCITED! I always get so nervous leading up to this event, crossing every finger I have that people actually show up to shop! Tomorrow begins the preparation of the building, moving tables, furniture and marking out vendor spaces.... i’ll be excited when the event finally gets here!
Thankful for: Parents that live in the same city. Chris had an unexpected funeral a couple hours away today, and I work all day AND evening on Wednesdays - so neither of us could pick up Emmy from daycare. My dad totally came to the rescue, and Emmy was SO EXCITED that Grandpa was picking her up - it was so cute. He treated her to dinner and a milkshake at Runza, and played endless amounts of play-doh with her until my husband got home. So thankful for my parents!
Love, sneezes, and tired eyes,
Kelsey
