I feel so blessed to have a mature garden, with some of the flowers originally planted by our son-in-law's grandparents. It's amazing to see how they are gradually growing out of the soil and filling our garden with colour and life. Looking at these flowers reminds me of how God loves us and wants us to flourish just like these plants. He has given us the beauty of nature to remind us of His love and grace. 春天的腳步已悄悄的來了。 這幾星期的周末早上，雖仍是有點冷，但我已急不及待的拿着相機到處拍攝春天初開的花朶。我最愛的雪滴花（snowdrops)是最先從泥鑽轉出頭來的 - 她們是冬天完結的標記；接著就是各類顏色繽紛的根球類花朵，然後就是各類水仙花、鬱金香等等，接最後一棒的就是樹上的櫻花和梅花等⋯⋯ 花兒都按着上帝巧妙設定的時間表，順序從土裏冒出來。 每個人都有不同的放鬆和減壓方法，我的就是讓自己沈浸在大自然裏，讓五官接觸美好的事物，或慢跑、或遠足或拍照記錄當下。現在無論是居住的小鎭或工作的環境都在郊外，可無間斷地見證日出日落、四季變化及陰晴雨雪⋯⋯對我來說絕對是極大的確幸。 // The signs of early Spring are here! I have taken some photos these few weeks to capture the beauty of Spring flowers. Snowdrops are my all time favourite, and those cute little bulbs are all gorgeous too. All flowers emerging from the soil according to the perfect timetable set by our creator, which is truly amazing and wonderful. My way of releasing stress is to let myself deeply immerse in nature. To be able to live and work in the suburbs, being able to witness sunrise and sunset everyday, not missing out the subtle changes of the four seasons, is absolutely a huge blessing to me. 羅賓（Robin)在歐洲的冬天是很常見的小鳥，牠們的叫聲非常清脆而獨特，頭臉及胸前橙紅色的羽毛更是醒目搶眼。牠們活潑的身影也常出現在我的窗前，每次看到牠們，我都會駐足欣賞，感受生命的美好奇妙。 聖經馬太福音6章26告訴我們：「不要為生命憂慮吃什麼喝什麼，為身體憂慮穿什麼。生命不勝於飲食嗎？身體不勝於衣裳嗎？ 你們看那天上的飛鳥，也不種也不收，也不積蓄在倉裡，你們的天父尚且養活牠，你們不比飛鳥貴重得多嗎？ 你們哪一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢？」天父既看顧雀鳥，也更看顧保守我們。 感謝祂在二千多年前賜下愛子耶穌，使我們藉著相信祂得與神和好，享受豐盛的生命。 祝願大家身心平安，聖誕及新年蒙福快樂！ // Robin is a very common bird in winter Europe. Their singing are very sweet and unique, and the orange-red feathers on the head, face and chest are eye-catching and cute . I can spot them quite often from my garden. I love watching these cuties so much . Matthew 6:25-26 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? “  Our Heavenly Father cares for the birds, and He cares for us even more. He gave His beloved Son Jesus more than 2,000 years ago, through Him we can reconcile with God, through His salvation we can enjoy an abundant and meaningful life. My most favourite oak tree The oak tree is just a short walk from my house. Fountains Abbey Visit 原來已經有好幾個月沒有更新IG。 移民英國後，有了新的家，也開始了全職的新工作：幼兒教育(Early Years Educator)。一星期工作四整天，假日做一點Freelance 插圖工作，然後自駕周圍去或打理花園，去超市買餸煮飯⋯⋯人生換了跑道，生活充實忙碌，但滿足。有朋友話：「世界最純真嘅人都喺晒幼兒園」，的確！ 喜歡這裡的四季分明。落户在古城約克(York)近郊小鎮，徒步四處都是田野及郊遊徑，駕車二十分鐘就到North York Moors 國家公園內的Howardian Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty)，可以隨時親近大自然。 昨天去的Fountains Abbey，屬Yorkshire Dales National Park範圍，就再遠一點點，駕車45分鐘。秋天到了，部分樹葉開始轉紅，氣溫大約13－16度，好適合郊遊。Fountains Abbey 遺跡及其相連嘅半人湖園區，範圍廣闊，是英國最大的修院遺址，徒步遊要好幾小時，感恩遇上極好天氣。 // I haven’t updated my IG for quite a while. After moving to the UK, I have a new home and started a new full-time job: Early Years Educator. Working four full days a week, then doing freelance illustration works, exploring areas around, taking care of my garden, shopping for groceries and cooking on my day offs…life has been very busy but satisfying. A friend told me, "You are so blessed coz the purest souls in the world are to be found in kindergartens!", indeed! Love all the seasons here. Being settled in a rural small town at the out skirt of the ancient city of York, there are plenty of open fields and walking treks right at my doorstep, and only 20-minute drive away, I will be at Howardian Hills, an “Area of ​​Outstanding Natural Beauty” (AONB) in North York Moors National Park. I went to Fountains Abbey yesterday, which is situated at the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is a little further away, 45 minutes by car. Autumn is here, some leaves started turning yellow and red, and the temperature was about 13-16c, which is perfect for outings. The ruins of Fountains Abbey is the largest monastery ruins in the UK, and its adjoining lake garden are huge. Decorations on my Christmas tree This is the very first Christmas that I celebrate with my family in our new house in the UK. We bought some very simple matte balls from our little town’s charity shop and then hand painted some decorations on them with acrylic paints. 雖然展開清晨的緩跑只有一段小日子，但已經開始確切的感受到這運動對身心的好處。感恩每天只要踏出家門就已經有不少路缐可以選擇，而且空氣非常清新，環境也很清幽怡人。眼睛、耳朵、以致所有感官也沐浴在美好的事物之中：可以邊跑邊想想事情，或向主禱告談心⋯⋯很享受這樣的獨處時刻。 Although I have only started morning jogging for a short while, I have already started to notice the physical and mental benefits of it. Living in this suburban little town, I am truly thankful that there are so many routes to choose from right outside my house, and the air is always so clean and fresh. The neighbourhood is very quiet in the early morning, my eyes, ears...all my senses are fully submerged into the beauty of the countryside around me!
