The reconstruction of what Augustus of Prima Porta might have originally looked like by History in 3D. It's much better than some other reconstructions I have seen that act like Romans didn't know how to paint and do the statue in over-bright gaudy colors.
History in 3D's version is the only one that gives him light eyes, and H3D and Braga both give him dark blond/light brown hair, the colors from Suetonius' description of him.
There’s a lot of historical figures that feel like they’d only be successful/noteworthy in their specific time period and place, but I really do believe Caesar could’ve thrived anywhere any time

a clinic in Łódź agreed to take Kosiarz in to be operated on TODAY in the next 3 hours but the price will come out to DOUBLE of what i initially listed in this post.
the operation itself will cost 3800zł [~850$] and we need a cage to keep him in after. the cage we can buy on our own but we still need over 500$ to make from donations

i apologise for any grammatical or logical errors in this post. i am feeling awful and english is not my first language. please read the whole post before asking questions.
my cat has had an accident last week on wednesday when he ran out of the house through the front door when my father left it open. Kosiarz is an indoor cat i found as a stray 3 months ago when he was still a kitten and i did everything to keep him healthy. during the 20 minutes he was gone he got hit by a car [most likely. that's what the vet thinks].
i was finally able to have an appointment with a vet who had an x-ray machine today [i live in the middle of nowhere in poland and sadly wasnt able to find anything sooner]. his right femur is broken extremely near the head of the bone which got stuck in the pelvis' acetabulum, with the rest of the broken bone moving above it. the pelvis itself is broken in 3 separate places. there is no way to treat the bone just by setting it correctly and doing a cast. it has to done using a metal plate keeping the bone together. he is on constant pain relief medication and it is still painful.
i have 3 weeks to find him a surgeon and have Kosiarz be operated on. anything done later would be too late for the bone to heal correcty and the entire leg would have to be amputated.
my father wont help us cover the costs. i am not even telling him how much would it be because he would just kill the cat so "we dont waste money on a stupid animal". mom doesnt have enough money due to christmas coming soon. i am not able to work because of studies. if Kosiarz doesnt have this operation in time and my father doesnt agree to let the leg be amputated he will most likely throw Kosiarz out or kill him anyways.
i know i am asking for much, especially right before christmas, but i believe there is someone out there who would like to help us.
