It's been awhile since I've actual written a new blog with words instead of posting pictures from my Instagram!
I wanted to write a quick post regarding my newsletters moving forward.
Before my newsletters were sent in digital and paper form using email, social media, and snail mail every three months (ideally matching with a season of the year). However, in matching with my need to try new things, I've decided to try something new and, quite honestly, somewhat risky.
I'm going to eliminate paper newsletters.
While I know and understand the benefits of continually sending out quarterly paper newsletters, I saw an opportunity to take a risk and try something new in the way I update my supporters and see this route as a way to gain new subscribers to my newsletters.
Most people read my updates digitally rather than on paper and the great thing about email newsletters is that most people have a smartphone so my newsletter will remain with them in their inbox instead of buried under papers on a coffee or kitchen table.
My intention and thought process is by eliminating the creation of paper newsletters in addition to email newsletters there will be more time to create email newsletters monthly rather than quarterly. So instead of stuffing three months of stories, pictures, and etc. into a paper newsletter and email newsletter and the time it takes to create and send all of them out. My goal is to have cleaner, consistent, regular updates every month starting in June.
Like I stated earlier, this is a sizable risk and a bit of jumping off a cliff in terms of sending out updates however I think the smaller sent monthly will generate more views to my profiles and pages and through the power of digital sharing, add more financial and spiritual supporters to the mission.
Sign up for my newsletter! This will be the only way to exclusively get my monthly newsletters first! Already signed up? Perfect but your job's not done just yet!
