Optimus: Ā Heās quietly amused by your motherlytreatment, but heād never say anything out loud. Ā After all, not many people would see the militaryleader of a group of giant, sentient, alien robots as someone to look after,but he secretly finds the fact that you rather charming. Ā He understands what itās like to feelparental and protective of those around him, so he understands your desire tokeep him safe (even if heās perfectly capable of doing so himself). Ā This sets off something of a chain reaction. Ā The more nurturing you act towards him, themore heās going to become protective of you. Youāre far too good and precious for this world, and heās going todefend you with his very spark if need be.
Ratchet: Ā Acts like he doesnāt care (spoilers: hetotally cares!) Ā While he might scoff androll his optics when you act all motherly towards him, (heās hardly a sparklingafter all. Ā If anything, heād be your parental figure) he secretly likesthe attention. Ā He works hard every dayand sometimes keeping the Autobots all in tip top shape can be a bit of athankless task. Ā He appreciates yourkindness and compassion, and the fact that youāre very mature for yourage. Ā Sometimes itās nice to let someoneelse take care of him for awhile, even if itās just to remind him to rechargeafter all long day.
Bumblebee: Ā He thinks itās adorable the way you careabout him. Ā He tries not to worry youthough; he doesnāt like for you to get upset over him. Ā (No, no, see? Itās fine! Ā Itās just a littlescratch! Ā Ratchet will have it patched upin no time!) Ā Even though youāre stillvery young by human standards, he always listens closely to what you have tosay and treats you with the same respect he would other adults. Ā He likes it when you see him off before hegoes on a mission. Ā He always seems tofight a little better when he knows you have a nice, warm cube of energonwaiting for him when he gets back.
Arcee: Itās like a competition to see who can be thebest mom. Ā Sheāll be in the middle ofbriefing you about safety during a mission and youāll chime in with somethinglike āArcee, that wire there looks like itās leaking some energon. Ā Maybe you ought to go and see Ratchet?ā Ā Arceeās not quite sure what to make of yousometimes. Ā (Like, no, human. Ā You cannot be my mom. Ā I am your mom! Ā What is happening??) Ā Youāre good for her though, as sometimes shehas trouble following her own advice. Yes, Arcee, getting enough sleep is important for young humans, Iagree. Ā But you havenāt recharged in twodays! Ā Go to berth this instant!
Bulkhead: Ā He gets a little flustered over all the kindness you show him, but only because heāsnot really used to it. Ā Donāt get himwrong, the Wreckers and the other Autobots are like his family, but nobodyāsever brought him a giant heated blanket after a mission before, or offered tobuff those hard to reach spots. Ā Heās sograteful to have you in his life. Ā Itāsnice to know someoneās always looking out for him the way you do. Ā Heāll gladly return the favor as well. Ā If you ever needed anything, Bulkheadās atyour side in an instant. Ā He wants tomake sure you donāt feel like heās taking advantage of your kindness. Ā
Wheeljack: Ā He thinks the idea of a tiny humanworrying over a giant, sword-wielding Wrecker is beyond hilarious. Ā He doesnāt say this out loud though, in casehe accidentally hurt your feelings, or embarrassed you, or even worse made youstop. Ā Because, while he doesnāt necessarilythink he needs looking after, he absolutely loves the attention. Ā He smiles just a bit wider when you ask himabout his day, or offer to come along to help on a mission. Ā But itās more than just the things you do forhim that make him happy; he really does care about you a great deal. Ā After all, where would he be without hislittle Earth buddy? Ā It warms his sparkto think about how much you mean to him and heās gonna do his utmost to keepyou safe from harm.
Smokescreen: Ā He gets a little embarrassed sometimeswhen you mother him. Ā āOh, come on! Ā Not you too! I already get all that from Optimus!ā (He thinks itās cute when you cross your arms and huff whenever he sayssomething like this. Ā Theyāre just tryingto look after you, you aft!) Ā But deepdown, much as heād hate to admit it, he knows youāre right about certain things. Ā Okay, maybe trying to do 80mph in a 45mphzone wasnāt the best ideaā¦ Ā He kind ofadmires your moxie, and appreciates that youāll push back on certain thingswith him, even if he grumbles at the time. At least one of you is good at keeping you both out of trouble.
Ultra Magnus: Ā āGood luck,ā you call out to him one daybefore he leaves for a mission. Ā He turnsaround in surprise and stares down at you, causing you to avert your eyes. Ā āUm, sir,ā you add quietly. Ā He balks for a moment, unused to anyoneshowing him concern over such a routine thing. āā¦Thank you.ā Ā He quickly becomesvery fond of you. Ā Itās such a relief tohave someone as mature and responsible as you around base, knowing that hedoesnāt have to worry about coming home to a burned out pile of rubble. Ā He enjoys talking with you about his work andloves that you donāt get bored or crack annoying jokes like Smokescreen andMiko do. Ā The only time this bot eversmiles is when youāre around, much to the othersā surprise (Holy frag! Ā He actually CAN smile?!?!?) Ā He refers to you as his unofficialdeputy. Ā Ultra Magnus often wishes the otherscould be as reliable as you (*coughcoughSmokescreencoughcough*)
