i think once u successfully win a debate there should be a period where they let you get out all the ad hominems you were holding back
like this i think
sometimes it occurs to me that while "get bottom surgery and then use a strapon" is an obvious course of action for many trans lesbians, a lot of cis people would be extremely confused by the suggestion that someone would do this.

To all of the white transfems following me, you need to acknowledge that you have privilege over racialized men, and that no "I don't see colour" bushit is ever going to change that. If you disagree with this fact, you are doing the exact same thing transandrobros are doing, and in fact you are worse than them.
Stop being racist.
my wife: who was that problematic author, the one who did enderman's game? uhhhh... orville redenbacher?
me: can I post that
Like in the USA, queer british history is tied to black british history. Unlike the USA we never hear their names
It's black history month in the UK, but no child I know of has been taught about black queer history.
So join me in learning about it.
Learn about Pearl Alcock who set up the only gay bar in brixton at the time as a refuge for black gay men.
Ted Brown one of the organisers of the first UK pride rallys in 1974
Justin Fashanu the first openly gay footballer in 1990.
The fact that the UK GLF was inspired by the black panthers revolutionary convention in 1970.
Or Ivor Cummings "the gay father of the windrush generation"
When we understand that our history is diverse, it changes our outlook. I hope that this Black History Month, we all take the time to uncove
I'm sure there are 100s more names to go on this list, but I don't know them. I can't find them. Kinda the point if racism and homophobia tho isn't it? To hide the culture and history of black queer people, to make black queer people feel like their alone, feel like there was noone who came before to look up to and be seen by.
Over in America February is black history month, but here in the UK February is queer history month. So what better time to highlight this article about the black queers we never learn about
Is the theory of Jax being transfem canon? There's lots of signs in the show plus an official post Gooseworks posted on Twitter, but sometimes I get a bit confused because I dont actually know if the theory is canon or if it's just the fandom reading into things.
P.S: Thanks for the info u guys post on ur blog daily, especially since not a lot of people have twitter 💕.
We usually don't answer these kind of asks, but we decided to do so if it could bring some clarity for you all.
It is just as the show and Gooseworx confirmed, Jax is transfem. A closeted transfem. Her story is a cautionary tale of "What happens if you suppress your true self? Your trauma and grief?"
It is one thing to receive help, it's another to accept it.
Everyone is capable of change, of redemption, regardless if one deserves it or not. Then, what happens if you don't get that chance? That is unfortunately the case for some people, unable to reveal their true self or open up about their emotions whether it being due to internal and/or external factors. Ribbit and Pomni did the best they could to help and provide a safe space for Jax, both trying to get him to open up and giving him space respectively. A chance. But ultimately, it was his choice to make.
It is part of human instinct to protect against harm, but it isn't always about shielding with arms, especially for victims of abuse and emotional incest. Some would stay quiet, others would resort to distractions. Or, if you were like Jax, you'd distance yourself and project. While it isn't excusable for bad actions, it's understandable where they're coming from; "I fought back before and look what happened". That said, just because it's safer, it doesn't mean that it's healthy. You spiral out of control, your body unrecognizable. Or worse.
That is the tragedy of Jax's character: "it's too late" for her because she never got the chance to redeem and find her true self before abstracting. We're well aware of abstraction not being the final end, though it doesn't necessary means it's completely reversible. It instead can change, and that chance hasn't left. It may take time, but all good things do. And perhaps one day, Jax would be ready to make that choice.
Kinger said it best here about the complexity of relationships and people:
To simply answer your question: the fandom can use any pronouns (as we have been referring Jax as she/he) but Jax is, without a doubt, transfem. It isn't a theory or headcanon, it's her story for the fandom to connect and learn from. As we said earlier, you all are capable of change, and you will only if you accept it.
P.S. Thank you for tuning in, and we do hope this post helped you 😊💖 Have a good timezone!
