i cant stop thinking about nick "selke winner" suzuki. years and years of people shitting on habs fans for saying he's a 1C, years of people saying he's overrated, years of people pretending he's just not good enough to be at the helm of this team.

that nick suzuki winning the selke and winning it by a fucking landslide. 1726 points for him and 151 1st place. the second highest guy was at 467 points with 10 first place votes.

that is fucking crazy.

only the 4th player in the history of the selke to win it with 100+ points, topped only sergei fucking fedorov and doug fucking gilmour.

and doing it all while being one of the few men of colour in this league and being the captain of the montreal canadiens. wow. wow wow wow.

U guys have no clue how obsessed I am with Nick Suzuki. He dgaf. He’s a young captain. His whole team loves him. His coach has absolute faith in him. He has faith in his teammates. He’s solid as fuck. Unwavering on his skates. Plays a calm 100 minutes per game. Hasn’t missed a game in so fucking long they don’t even mention it on the broadcasts anymore. He has huge legs.
