shsl-ultra-literature:
Her eyes shot towards the approaching male as she was taken aback from the voice, and the foot steps. She looked him over, blonde hair, glasses, many traits she admired in her taste of men, well specifically one specific one. She cleared her throat as she kept a hand to her chest and continued to stare at him, her head tilting to the side as she took everything about him in. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she began to bite down on her bottom lip. Nothing seemed familiar about anyone, she didnât know or recognize anyone, how could she? She just woke up several minutes ago with no idea where she was and everything bolted up. It was tragic really. Just the fact that she was in a large room with..anybody scared her and now there was this person talking to her. When did he even enter? Wait- that doesnât matter, what matters is that there is that someoneâs actually saying words to you. Câmon Fukawa spit something out! At least a curse word or something!
âI-I..who are you?! W-What are you doing t-talking to someone like me? I-Iâm not w-worth your time. B-But if you know why weâre here..then I guess we can talk more..just maybe.â
She was unsure of the entire situation, in fact it was making her head hurt, having so many people around her, talking and communicating, some even laughing, otherâs grumbling about their loss of cell phones. It was horrifying, being unsure of such information and finally after a long time she calmed down only slightly. However, her large eyes continued to stare towards the male in front of her while scratching at her arm out of instinct. Her braids were pulled back from her shoulders, and her long slender fingers fixed her glasses.
âI-Iâm sorry..I didnât mean to yell..I-Iâm just scared. I-Iâm Fukawa Toko, not like I expect someone like you to remember that at all.â
The voice that met his ears in response was Japanese - he only then realized that his own words had been spoken flawlessly in the language as well, his mouth forming the syllables before he had the mind to mentally shift gears. That was another oddity that came with jumping between planes - his body would emerge in the new timeline completely equipped to survive wherever he ended up, adapting to language, climate, and even cultural customs to fit the new location. Typically these things werenât much help with fitting in when heâd appear in foreign places, his base character still dripping with the implications that he was nothing but a privileged American student and not the common nationality he would find himself surrounded by. No amount of interdimensional travel could alter his core DNA and, frankly, he was glad these random excursions didnât have such a profound effect on his physical appearance.
It did, however, answer a few of his questions. Upon closer inspection, he did notice that this girl appeared to be of Japanese descent. This school on the other hand - it seemed much too posh for what he would have expected in an Asian country. The walls of the large room were immaculate, shined and polished to an almost unnerving degree, only adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere that enveloped the area. No longer hindered by a veil of shadow, he gradually picked up on the more alarming aspects of the strange setting who found himself in - namely the thick iron plates that were bolted in place where the windows likely should have been, shielding any exposure to the outside. Roughly a dozen other people were now in view, each one in some varying state of unease, although none as clearly agitated as the girl seated before him.Â
Just what had he stumbled onto this time?
The tone she initially used with him shouldnât have surprised him, but his shoulders flinched backward at the venom-laced words involuntarily. He held his hands up in a show of peace, an uncertain chuckle vibrating through his chest. âI just thought you looked a bit lonely over here, thatâs all. Figured maybe Iâd keep you company.â Searching her face for any signs of aggression, he cautiously pulled back a chair across from her and took a seat, folding his hands and resting them casually on the table between them.
âFukawa-san, huh?â He had to bite his tongue to keep from defaulting to a cozier honorific, getting the feeling that overstepping his bounds would be unwise. He smiled, laugh marks stretching from his eyes as he introduced himself. âIâm Lunick. Lunick Lazarus. Nice to meet you.â Tentatively he paused, debating how exactly he was going to phrase his next question without making it obvious that his presence here was unplanned.Â
âYou, uh, probably know more than I do, to be honest. What is this place? Looks...â He hummed, thinking of the right word to describe the negative vibes he was getting the longer he was here. âSterile.â

Michelle bumped into Mike while babysitting Adrian since Mike was leaving for work and she was just done tucking Adrian in. What is his reaction?
Who was this chick? In his house? Ooh, but she wasnât hard on the eyes, that was for sure. Definitely a catch. He haphazardly ruffled the mop of brown hair that hung down in front of his eyes in an attempt to look presentable, cursing under his breath for leaving his cap in the other room. Leaning his elbow on the catchall table by the door, he awaited his chance.
Except no words left his mouth. He just sort of⊠stared blankly, searching frantically for something suave to say, his brain halted in its normal thought processes. The seconds ticked on as he stood there, unmoving and awkward.
And there she went.
He really needed to work on his technique.
She huffed, trying to think of a way to maybe attempt to get him to actually give a shit. âListen Schmidt.â She crossed her arms, taking his cigar out of his mouth.
âMaybe we can make a deal to where you can actually care, tell you what, if you care for him, I will give you a kiss everyday before I leave.â âIf you want a quick test, then you are going to have ask.â She added, blushing lightly. He would be her first kiss so this must mean something to her.
What was this bitchâs problem? Was it really that hard of a concept to grasp that he physically couldnât be bothered to care about some dumb kid, family or not? It was every man for himself in this backwater town, for fuckâs sake. Familial ties only served to tie someone down - the fewer people you felt that strong of a connection to, the less grief youâd feel when the inevitably showed up dead as a doornail one morning. Anyone who lived here learned this early on, in the same way that other kids might learn how to ride a bike. The Schmidt familyâs position as the wealthiest people within a ten-mile radius only served to shorten the rope on the guillotine hanging over their heads.Â
A low growl rumbled through his throat as the new cigarette was torn from his lips. He spat angrily into the dirt, watching as the recently lit tobacco hit the ground and fizzled out pathetically. Digging around in his pocket for the half empty carton to clutch it protectively, he turned sharply to glare at the person connected to the hand that had stolen his smoke, his scathing voice overlapping with hers. âThe hell? That shitâs expensive, what do you think youâre doing wasting good--â
His voice cut off abruptly, Michelleâs next words hitting his ears with the force of a freight train. The fingers wrapped tightly around the cardboard box in his pocket went slack to match the look of utter disbelief on his face.
What the fuck?
Had he heard her correctly? No, that was impossible. The seriousness that had appeared in her eyes told him that he wasnât imagining things. What sort of screwed up compromise was this anyway? If she cared so much about the little Norwegian cripple, why didnât she just take care of him herself? He opened his mouth to protest, any words he may have been trying to say dying out before they could be said. His cheeks felt like they might burst into flames at any moment.Â
No fucking way he would consider showing even a shred of compassion for his younger brother, especially not now that he no longer had any obligations to. Their relationship had been the same for nearly nine years now - Mike would take his frustrations out on the only person he knew wouldnât beat the shit out of him for it and Adrian did his best to pretend Mike didnât exist in an attempt to lessen the blow. They didnât know anything else and, frankly, there was no need for them to change what already was.
But... a kiss? Every day? The proposition was admittedly tantalizing. Images of the previous night flashed through his head. He definitely wouldnât mind more interactions of that variety, regardless of how unbearable he may find this woman to be. Heâd never even had his first kiss - though he supposed even managing to sleep in the same bed as a girl this attractive was more than Felix had achieved at this point. His inexperience nevertheless persisted like a knife buried in his back, insulting and shameful for the leader of the Azure Batâs favorite member. This wouldnât cost him a single penny either, a sentiment his wallet still tossed carelessly on the floor of his room seemed to telepathically be reminding him of.Â
...It couldnât hurt to at least humor her, could it? God, just the thought of being nice to the little turd, even in jest, made his stomach turn uncomfortably.
He swallowed painfully, precious little saliva working to soothe his dry throat. The voice that finally passed through his lips was small and hoarse and didnât express any of the words he may have wanted to say. The question that he had now placed between them sounded childish, even to him, and the red in his face spread to the tips of his ears.
âWh... What sort of kiss are we talking about?â
So Mike, how was Seaworld?
*thunk**thunk**thunk*âYa know what? Itâs great. Real homey. Iâve even gotten to know the sea turtle in this tank. Turns out if I bang my head against the glass long enough, he comes and taps his flipper to the reflection.â
*thunk*
âGoddamnit, Gerald...â
When Luca had finally come to terms with the fact someone was coming, heâd prepared himself for the long conversations⊠well, one-sided rant really, that guards had. Never in his life had he expected a⊠girl. Never in his life had he expected her to just, sit right next to him and start talkingâŠ
Oh boy, someone was here⊠w-what did he SAY? What did he DO? Thoughts of panic raced through his head as the girl asked him questions, just as many were racing through his head.
Luca recoiled  and backed against the wall of the booth to get away, sort of shyly. âI-I⊠I-Iâm⊠Iâm hiding⊠f-fr-from⊠s-someone.â Luca explained, shaking, with wide, pale violet eyes. There was a kind of look about him that made him seem⊠ill, or unwell, you could tell he wasnât sick, but you could tell he as unhappy when he spoke.. and the faces he made. His eyes were huge, yet sunken.Â
âI-Iâm⊠n-not very good at Video Games either.â Luca admitted, sort of making himself smaller, as if somehow that mattered to some girl who was proably around his height.Â
âI-Iâm LucaâŠâ he greeted, with a heavy amount of shyness in his voice. Luca didnât do well with new people a lot of the times, and this was no exception.
But, he was facing his fears now anyway⊠maybe this would help him be strongerâŠ
âY-youâre very nice⊠most people donât like me much..â he explained, quietely.
Vivian frowned as the boy slunk further away from her until he had collided with the wall, trying her best not to let the disappointment show on her face. His mannerisms reminded her of Lance - timid, a sense of palpable anxiety, and the eyes of a deer caught in headlights, not to mention sheâd never seen anyone other than her blonde friend take refuge underneath one of these tables. She quickly searched her memories for the tactics sheâd used back then to earn Lanceâs trust in the beginning, hoping they might prove useful with this boy as well. The last thing she wanted to do was scare him.Â
Relaxing her muscles in an effort to appear as unintimidating as possible, she listened patiently as he started to speak. Hiding? What was there to hide from here, of all places? Humming in thought for a moment, she poked her head back out from under the tablecloth and did a brief scan of their surroundings. The pizzeria looked exactly the same as it had for the last hour, empty and unexciting. There were a total of three people around that she could see, other than the two of them - her brother was still nodding off at one of the far booths, the fidgety man that she often saw work the prize counter was busy rearranging the shelves of toys, and a run-of-the-mill security guard stood near the entrance, his attention focused on the cars passing by outside the window since there was nothing of interest happening inside.Â
Her brow furrowed, she ducked back under, turning to look the boy in the eyes as she pointed behind her. âWhoâre you hiding from? Thereâs not too many people here at the moment, just me and big bro and some employees...â She trailed off, wondering if one of them could have potentially frightened this poor kid. âOh, is it that guy at the prize counter? Mr. Scott can be a little offputting at first.â A small chuckle escaped her lips as she spoke, searching his face for anything beyond the fear he was currently exhibiting. âOr maybe youâre scared of the characters? Freddy and the gang arenât gonna hurt you, I promise.â
While she didnât make any moves to get closer to him, she continued to talk to him in a gentle but cheerful voice, her legs pulled up to her chest with her hands resting on her knees. âWell, youâll never get better at the games if you donât play them. I could teach you some tricks!â Thinking about it for a moment, she extended one of her hands in his direction and offered him a large toothy grin. âNice to meetcha, Luca. You come here often? We should play together sometime!â
Brushing a lock of long black hair out of her face, Vivian tilted her head in confusion at Lucaâs comment. Sometimes she just couldnât understand why people treated each other so poorly. âThatâs weird. You seem like a good enough guy to me. Maybe everyone else just isnât looking hard enough.âÂ

"Shut up!" ((ahogeverse-rp, Vincent))
Jeremyâs eyes widened at his sudden outburst, taking some steps back. He held back his tongue, not wanting to say something wrong that could make Vincent angrier. He had both the look of confusion, and regret. Whatever he said, it probably got in Vincentâs nerves. He looked away from the taller male.
âIâm not sure yet..â he pondered, looking down and rubbing his chin. He shouldâve at least put some thought on it first. Well, he couldnât really do anything about it, soâŠ. âWe can see for ourselves. Just walk around the streets, see any place that catches our eyes, really.â He finally answered. He hoped it wasnât too half assed. Plus, it sounded more like compromise than assurance. He wished he couldâve justified something better. It had been a while since they didnât do any activities like these in a long time. This was kind of a challenge. Where did they use to go when they were younger? These years really did fog his memory.
Should he mention it to the other? It was a pretty risky decision, in his opinion. To make a bold decision to lead him to places he probably would hate to go, perhaps flashing him bad memories⊠grotesque, even⊠perhaps it was best not to. Vincent is after all recovering from old scars that still feels fresh for him. He would simply add salt on ice and place it on the wounds if he did that. Best to forget. Focus on the present, on today.
âW⊠what place would you suggest? Weâve still have a lot to catch on, after all.â That seemed pretty fair like question. Since he himself hasnât really changed, he couldnât know where the other would want to go. Jeremy had become a very obvious person to Vincent, after all. There was literally nothing he could hide from him nowâŠ
⊠now the thought made him worry. Would he already analyze that heâs trying to avoid places for his sake? He hoped to God not this time.
Vincent patiently waited for Jeremy to finish offering up his thoughts on the matter, searching his face to try and get a read on what he was thinking. He could see a faint glimmer of uncertainty reflected back at him in his blue eyes. Perhaps his mind had also gone down the same path that his own had been traveling down mere moments before - they were still within walking distance of where the both of them had grown up, after all. Despite Vincentâs apartment complex being located on the outskirts of the next town over, the proximity between the two areas was negligible at least, the large bustling city easily dwarfing the suburb heâd spent most of his life in. It wouldnât be hard to accidentally stumble across places better left forgotten.
That being said, he still probably knew his way around these parts better than Jeremy regardless of how much he spent out in the town itself.
Silently, he ran over their options in his head, quickly deciding against most of the prospects he had thought of. While it would have been nice to spend time together just like they had as kids, the truth was that they hadnât done much back then either. Money had never been something heâd had plentiful amounts of living on the streets with two mouths to feed without outside support and Vivianâs health and wellbeing had always come first - there were days he was lucky to have a scrap of food rationed away for himself, let alone be frivolous to go anywhere too exciting. Between his sister and those friends of hers that heâd become almost like a second father to, he would rarely find a moment to have to himself. His own memories of time spent with Jeremy were hazy at best, those days, both good and bad, subconsciously locked away in the far reaches of his mind to keep him sane. The only thing he could clearly remember were the times they had all spent together at --
No. It wasnât even worth thinking about that place anymore. It was in the past. And as far as he knew it no longer even existed. He pushed the memory to the back of his head, doing his best to redirect his train of thought.
If he couldnât bring himself to go anywhere near their old familiar territory, they would just have to remain as local as possible. Although heâd been living here for several years at this point, he seldom left the sanctity of his own home and subsequently didnât know what sorts of things there were to see and do outside of the convenience store he had run across downtown and the library he ocassionally visited a few blocks down. His eyes narrowed in contemplation, one hand reaching up to scratch at his unshaven whiskers, coming to an abrupt halt when Jeremyâs next words gave him a brilliant idea.
âThereâs a park nearby,â he suggested, his usually dull grey eyes shining with a renewed enthusiasm. âIt has a nice walking path that goes through the forest preserve that could kill a couple of hours.â Jeremy had mentioned catching up and the atmosphere of actual lively nature seemed like an acceptable backdrop for such things. Heâd been there a few times by himself, the walks cathartic in clearing his head. Yes, that seemed like a safe option - few people, secluded location, and far away from anything too dangerous.
He peered down at Jeremy, wondering if the idea had come across as too lackluster, before exhaling a light chuckle as he remembered their current state of undress. Pressing a quick kiss to his forehead, he cocked his head towards the doorway, an impish grin on his face while he motioned to the smaller manâs attire. âWell, no matter where we end up going, we canât go anywhere looking like this. Unless, of course, youâve developed a habit of walking the streets in just your underwear?â
//This blog is over a year old and that is incredibly strange to me.//
There is an unclosed bold tag in your description that affects the rest of the page.
//Wow, I think itâs been like that for months (which would explain why no noticed, including myself), it should be fixed now. Now I know why it hurt my eyes to read everything on the page these last few weeks.//
//I feel so much better now, you have no idea.//
Fukawa Toko groaned as she allowed her eyes to stare down towards the ground, her fingers playing with each other idly. Her long brown hair which was usually pulled back into two braids, her bangs lazily pushed to the side as her large circular frames didnât frame or fit onto her face quite right. She was usually nervous but that was to be expected when suddenly several eyes were placed onto you, especially if one of the pairs belonged to an esteemed Heir of the Togami incorporation. She bit down onto her bottom lip, almost hard enough to draw pink blood just from the pressure. Why..why are you all staring at me? Itâs not like Iâm some type of idol like Maizono. J-Just go away.
Her hands shot to her hair as she began to scratch rapidly, purely out of slight fear from just the state of being unsure about herself. Her nails dug into her scalp as she tightly closed her eyes, seemingly making inhumane noises. âUuuuuu..w-why are so many people staring at me? T-They think Iâm ugly d-donât they? I-Itâs not like theyâre wrong or anything but d-didnât anyone teach them staring is rude? W-What were they? R-Raised in some type of barn or something?â She mostly muttered this to herself as she stayed mostly silent and kept to herself in her secluded corner of solace.Â
All heâd done was blink. Heâd closed his eyes for a mere second and everything around him had suddenly changed.
It wasnât the first time this had happened - it sort of came with the territory of temporal time shenanigans - but it never made the jumps any less jarring. He honestly respected Nainâs cool composure surrounding their strange abilities, having never fully come to terms with the ridiculous otherworldly things he was capable of beyond deciding that they were fun. Every once in a while heâd open his eyes and be somewhere and somewhen completely different than where heâd just been. It no longer scared him, but was more of an inconvenience, getting in the way of everyday activities.Â
He wondered what year it was. His immediate surroundings werenât giving him many hints - a school, maybe? And by the looks of it, definitely not American. Instinctively he brought one hand up to feel his chest, relieved to not feel the restricting bandages he had worn there for years. So this was an altered timeline. These were always more interesting, even more so when he had no control over their outcomes. And by the light pull that he had begun to notice in the back of his mind, his powers didnât seem to be in effect here.
He stretched his fingers, his body propped up against a wall. The movement was slow - his previous body likely hadnât disappeared yet. Often when heâd move between time periods, his body didnât necessarily move with him. Whatever higher power dictated how these things worked at least had the common sense to realize that an entire human body evaporating into thin air in plain sight would probably raise some questions and waited until the previous host vessel had reached somewhere secluded before transferring complete control over to the new one. Likewise, he would only rematerialize in places no one could see him, which is why he currently stood cloaked in shadows, free to get a grip on his location before diving headfirst into it. Because of this, for small frames of time, his consciousness would be in two places at once until he had returned to existing in only one ongoing form.
As the minutes passed, he regained feeling in his extremities. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he pulled out a thin pair of glasses he had expected to find there and placed them on his face, squinting to get a better look at what was going on around him. There werenât too many people around, the atmosphere generally quiet. He scanned the room, looking for anything worth taking note of until his sight landed on a lone girl sitting off to the side.Â
He wasnât sure whether it was her appearance or her demeanor that had caught his attention but something about her intrigued him. The first thing heâd thought was that she was cute, although heâd be hard pressed to say it out loud. The second thing heâd noticed was that she seemed incredibly nervous and paranoid, her uneasy fidgeting visible even from a distance. Without thinking it through too much, heâd stepped away from his perch against the wall and had started walking towards her, one hand running through his dyed blonde hair absentmindedly.
His pace slowed to a halt as he got relatively closer. Heâd tried to approach gradually so his arrival wouldnât be a complete surprise and offered a small wave once he was satisfied that she was aware of his presence. Clearing his throat awkwardly, he did his best to strike up a conversation. âHi there. You look a little stressed, is there something bothering you?â
@ahogeverse-rp
The middle of the day meant the pizzeria had some activity. Gold could hear the voices of children from his sitting place, far into the back of the Parts room. There had been a time where he had been like them, even had a name. But after he died, Gold had prefered to rename himself after the one he possessed. Unlike the younger animatronics, Golden Freddy and The Puppet were the children that possessed them.
Or in other words, Golden Freddy and The Puppet werenât sentient. They moved only because the spirits inside them would make them move. Without Gold and Puppet, the animatronics were nothing else than robots. A golden bear suit that had no endoskeleton left, and a stipped puppet that had been switched off long ago.
Goldâs head turned slowly toward the door. If he could, he would have frowned. There was a sensation out there that reminded him of the older spirits, yet it wasnât them. Scott played his part as Head of Security; and the three others were most likely wandering around the party room, not far from Scott.
They probably didnât sense that Gold did, though. They would be there, otherwise; and this could only mean that whoever it was, they were close to the door. The sensation left however, betraying they had moved away. Just another person passing by, as the door was located in the pary room; but this time it caught the interest of the child spirits.
Puppet was looking at Gold when the bear suit moved its head toward him. They rarely moved from the parts room, even though mortals wouldnât see them unless they willed it. They didnât feel safe out there. But this time⊠They felt curious, and they knew the four older spirits to be around.
As such, a few seconds later, two little boys walked out of the parts room. The youngest of the two, looking no older than 5, hide a bit behind the older one. The 11 years old glanced to the side, taking the younger one handâs before walking along the wall. Nobody paid attention to them, as nobody could see them. Gold let his eyes drift around, hoping to find whoever felt⊠different.
It was Puppet, however, that found who they were looking for. He tugged at Goldâs arm, eyes locked on a young boy. Gold and Puppet exchanged a glance before they approached. They could feel again the weird sensation, though they did not know what it was.
They planned to simply observe the young boy, with hope he would do or say something that would give a clue to the two children spirits about what the sensation was.
They couldnât guess this particular young boy had the ability to see ghosts; and even if being a spirit was a bit different, this ability would work on them. But they didnât know it, and so didnât think anything on just walking in front of him. They stopped a few steps from the young boy, Puppet halfway behind Gold, eyes peeking to watch the young boy.
Gold, for this part, had an intense gaze. Little frown, head tilted, he was the very picture of analyzing. He opened his mouth to talk to Puppet, but he froze as he finally registered a very important fact:
The young boy had focused on them. Gold could literally lock his eyes with the young boy. This meant he could see them. And Puppet seemed to realize the same thing, because he was suddenly hiding fully behind Gold.
The longer he spent walking around the pizzeria, the more he decided that he really didnât like it here one bit.
Mark Fischer had only been four at the time, blissfully ignorant to any of the more serious happenings in the world around him and quite frankly he was perfectly fine with this fact. A four-year-old didnât need to worry about much - the most important thing to him on a daily basis was what flavor of juice box he would be given that evening before bed. No, a boy his age certainly had no reason to be concerned about the tragic history behind the childrenâs restaurant he and his brother Thomas had been taken to that day. He only needed to know that it made him incredibly uneasy and wanted to go home as soon as possible.Â
It wasnât just one aspect of the place either - none of it sat well with him. The building seemed unkempt, dust in places dust probably shouldnât be, cobwebs strewn in nearly every corner. The pizza he had been treated to earlier hadnât been that great either, unable to finish his slice because of how much its taste resembled that of soggy cardboard. The thing that unsettled him the most, however, were the three robotic characters on top of the stage. He couldnât pinpoint why, but they gave him the feeling that he was being watched.Â
Suffice to say, he hadnât stuck around when the show had started, quickly ditching Thomas in favor of wandering around the rest of the establishment.Â
Unfortunately, the building wasnât very big, his exploration not taking very long at all. The dining area made up a majority of the accessible space, a seemingly endless amount of tables all positioned with a direct line of sight towards the mascotsâ performance. He could only assume the one in the middle was Freddy - the brief glance heâd gotten at its face matched the one on the sign outside, but the others were unfamiliar and he had no desire to ask his older brother what their names were.Â
Off to the side of the room was a small alcove hidden away by a curtain, a wooden plank sticking out of the ground with text written on it placed in front of it as if to deter anyone from coming near. Against his better judgment, his curiosity got the better of him and he had peeked his head between the small gap in the fabric. It wouldnât be until he had reached his mid-thirties that heâd learn just what he had gotten a glimpse of, but the image of those sharp mechanical teeth would be burned into the back of his mind forever.
There wasnât much else of interest to take note of. The restrooms were old and grimy, the hallways that extended towards the entrance yielded nothing overly exciting, and every other door he had come across had been locked up tight. Mark sighed dejectedly, pushing the glasses that were much too big for his face back up the bridge of his nose and silently wishing for his brother to hurry up and become bored with this place so they could leave. It wasnât like there were many other children around for him to play with - despite being the middle of the day, customer traffic was abysmally low, leaving him all but alone with his thoughts. Eventually, he plopped down on the ground against one of the walls, letting his gaze wander around absentmindedly, doing his best to avoid eye contact with the bear and his friends.
He wasnât sure how long he had been sitting there when he caught sight of two boys heading in his general direction. If there had been a decent number of children around at the time, he may not have taken notice, but with how desolate it had become as time passed, they were really the only thing worth focusing on. The one in front looked to be about Thomasâ age, perhaps a bit older, and from what he could see of the smaller child that was hiding behind the older oneâs back, appeared to be closer to his own age. He cocked his head curiously as they gradually grew closer until they had stopped directly in front of him. The older boy was staring him straight in the face, his eyes boring a metaphorical hole into his head.Â
Blinking dumbly for a few seconds as he stared back at him, Mark opened his mouth to speak to them, offering a small wave from where he was still sitting on the floor. His voice was high-pitched and shaky, unused to talking with strangers. âUh... âello...â

@fnaf-ahogeverse
Today had not been a good day for Luca. Heâd been pushed and shoved around by Alex, and now by everyone at Freddyâs. Luca hated the fact he was here now and not somewhere else. Oh who was he kidding, he was always here, he practically was raised by this disgusting place, half of his memories involved this one particular spot, a table he always hid and cried under. Nobody liked this table, you couldâve put Lucaâs name on it.
No tears came today though, Luca wasnât sure why, it was practically muscle memory. He didnât feel scared or sad though⊠he more felt alone, as if nobody in this whole pizzeria could understand what position he was in. Granted he hadnât become numb, his eyes still averted the stage and he didnât plan on interacting with any of the characters, or security.Â
Luca knew what he really wanted was a friend. Nobody ever wanted to be though, to any other kid Luca was just the gross weird kid who hid under the tables and probably ate glue.Â
Then he heard someone coming. Wonderful, heâd have to explain himself for the nth time. Luca began thinking of a long list of ways to respond as the footsteps drew nearer, and he hoped it wasnât Golden Freddy, or any of the characters for that matter.
This place just wasnât as much fun without the rest of the gang around to hang out with.
Vivian huffed in thinly disguised annoyance for the umpteenth time that day, glad that her brother wasnât close by enough to witness any of her disappointment and boredom. She understood why they came to Freddyâs so often and on most occasions, she was more than happy to spend some quality time there, playing around with Frederick and the others. It felt safe here - friendly, familiar and almost like the home she never had. Sure, the robotic characters looked a tad strange but that only served to make them all the more charming in her eyes and had started to consider them her friends as well.
But on this particular day, she found herself walking around the pizzeria by herself, vainly looking for something, anything to keep her occupied for the next few hours. Frederick and Lance had been grounded by their father for the week, Benjamin was at home studying, Chloe was attending her piano class, and Adrian had said something about a court hearing a few days prior that he was presumably attending. Vincent, her older brother and the only family sheâd ever known, was sitting at one of the far tables in the corner, his arms crossed and his head leaned back as he began to doze off. She couldnât blame him - even though she kept up a face that she was strong and that everything was alright, she knew that every day was a new struggle to live for the two of them. She knew he rarely slept, too concerned with making sure nothing happened to her while they were outside to afford himself any rest.Â
She wished things were different. But for now, all she could do was continue to let him know that she was resolute and could handle anything that life threw their way.
Sheâd done the rounds of the entire building at least three times when she heard something unusual as she was passing by the tables, a rustling of some sort - a sign of movement. She paused, trying to pinpoint the exact table the sound had come from. Strange - she could have sworn most of the other children had left by now. Crouching down, she gingerly peeked her head under the tablecloth, knocking lightly on the ground to alert whoever was there of her presence.Â
She was surprised to find a small boy curled up in the shadows. He looked to be around her age, perhaps a bit younger but certainly not a face sheâd seen before. A gentle smile appeared on her face and she crawled to take a seat next to him, the fabric falling back into place behind her and shrouding them in dim darkness once again.Â
âItâs kind of lonely down here, donât you think? And a bit dark too... Wouldnât you rather go play out in the arcade?â The smile on her face widened as she turned to face the boy, absolutely beaming with joy at the prospect of a new friend. âOh, Iâm Vivian, by the way. Whatâs your name?â
Sweet Sugar
Hehehe~. Well, that was quite the reaction. His own light blue eyes are calm by comparison, but eagerly watching the guardâs every unconscious expression. Ah, a nice, warm blush. He canât help but giggle. ââForâ? That wasnât âforâ anything. I just wanted to show you some affection.. Youâre really cute~.â
To emphasize his point, he gives the guard another sudden peck on the lips. He shudders at the burst of pleasure he feels surging through his spine as he pulls back. He smiles at the guard, his own freckled cheeks starting to darken as he feels himself becoming excited. â..Mmm, youâre turning such a lovely shade of red~. It must be a bit hot in here.â
As he leans in to whisper into their ear, he notices their lower half trying to pull away. Oh~? One of his hands reaching down, he gives the manâs butt a firm squeeze. âWhere ya going, sweetie~? You have somewhere you need to be? I was hoping you wouldnât mind spending a little time with me.â
If Jeremy had had the brain capacity to think clearly at the time, he may have attempted to connect one of his small bony fists with the manâs face in self-defense. What was happening? Better yet, why was this happening? Heâd just been clocking out for the day, dead tired after another long six hours working the night shift, when heâd been ambushed by the only other man in the building who had just given him his first kiss in nearly five years.Â
A remarkably handsome man, if he was going to be completely honest with himself, but that was neither here nor there at the moment. His face flared red hot as the thought entered his head.Â
Cute!? If it were possible, Jeremyâs eyes grew even larger at the unexpected proclamation. Just who did this guy think he-- his thoughts ground to a halt once more as his lips were accosted again. He couldâve sworn he could feel the steam whistling out his ears from how red he was. Staring back at him dumbstruck, he opened his mouth to protest only to discover his voice had no intention of cooperating. The blush that had appeared on the other manâs face certainly wasnât doing him any favors, either.
Now that he was really getting a good look at his assailant, he was able to put together that the two of them werenât complete strangers. From the way he was dressed, they appeared to be coworkers - then again, were anyone else inside the restaurant this early in the morning, there would have been far more pressing things to have been worrying about. That aside, he still only recognized him as part of the faculty and had likely never spoken to him before, let alone agreed to any of this...
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he wondered why he was taking the time to analyze the situation instead of running as fast as he could. He needed to get out of here before he said - or did - something incredibly stupid.
What a shame that he was still tightly locked in the otherâs embrace and couldnât act on those instincts.
Something between a gasp and a squeak rose out of his throat as he felt a hand thoroughly grasp his rear, his body involuntarily moving into the contact. He was beginning to feel a bit lightheaded, his expression likely resembling some strange cross between a deer caught in headlights and an overexcited rabbit in heat. He forced his eyes to focus on anything other than the man in front of him and swallowed harshly, hoping the saliva would wet his mouth enough to speak.Â
âI-I was j-just heading home for the d-day, I-I mean...â God, what was he even going to say? He wasnât even clear on what he wanted to say in this situation.Â

A devious smirk crept over Fritzâ face as he caught a glimpse of a blush worthy enough to rival his own crossing over the other manâs face - always a good first sign. Reaching behind his head to pluck his red-rimmed glasses from where he had left them when he had first entered the water, he returned them to their rightful place perched atop his nose, his bright green eyes widening at the added clarity of the sight before him.Â
Hot damn.
No longer with his vision impaired, he was able to get a good look at the man sitting across from him. Sandy brown hair, blue eyes, pale complexion - definitely right up his alley. He imagined that this is what Jeremy may have looked like if he werenât so incredibly scrawny. His body reacted faster than his heat-hazed head, his arousal making a decently sized tent in the towel wrapped around his waist, noticeable even through the veil of water with the way his legs had been spread out casually in front of him. Modesty didnât seem to be too pressing of a concern however given the situation, seeing as how he seemed to be having a very similar effect the strangerâs nether regions as well - the fidgeting of his hands beneath the water and flickering eyes certainly didnât go unnoticed, bolstering his confidence with each second that passed.
Not bothering to make any effort to conceal his interest, he tilted his head back, whistling in appreciation. âNice to meet ya, Jack. Iâm Fritz.â He did another once over of the manâs body and grinned widely. âAnd youâre not too bad looking yourself, pal.âÂ
He considered the idea of letting this one come to him for a brief moment but quickly decided that he was far too keen to see where this encounter might take him if he were a bit more proactive this time. It wasnât every day someone this easy on the eyes wandered in on him in the bath, and who appeared to be interested in him as well. Heâd take it - this could be fun if he played is cards right. Whether or not his current judgment was being affected by his prolonged soak in the hot water was something he could worry about later.Â
Sliding along the edge of the basin, he came to rest a few feet away from where Jack had sat down, still far enough so as to give him the chance to back off but close enough that they could easily see each other now without having to squint through the steam. His towel now hung loosely against his hips, the knot keeping it together having come undone from the movement. âSo Jack, you work here or did someone tip ya off that there were naked mechanics lounging around the employee bathhouse?â

It felt weird for Mike to stand in the Pizzeria again, the real one and not the one they had rebuilt. His memories of this location gave mixed feelings, as while he did meet the four children there-when he was himself a child-and had fun with them, this location stayed the one where he almost died.
The same one he watched the four children that were coming family to him die. And later on, he had learned it had been by his best friendâs hands. So, truth to be told, Mike did prefer the location he had worked in. There, despite the danger of his first few nights, he had found the children again. He would say he ahd found Drew too, but considering how it wentâŠ
Maybe he should stop thinking of the past. And concentrate on the present. Everyone was happy now, if a bit⊠dead. Except him. He was only a living ghost.
I really need to focus on work.
Because, if Mike stood in the Pizzeria today, it was for the night shift. He did need money after all, and for once he loved the idea of not doing a random part time job. Being in an alternate world certainly helped his choice. And well, it was better than he took the night shift, even if he wasnât sure how he would feel if the animatronics were possessed like his own had been.
They wouldnât be his friendsâ ghosts, after all.
However, the manager had told him there would be a second night guard. Mike understood the logic, they would be safer if they were two to watch the animatronics. Be it from outside dangers or the bots themselves. Still⊠Mike wished that someone else didnât have to go though the night shift. He could only hope it wouldnât be a life threatening one, but it ended up dangerous, he would not allow his co-worker to get hurt.
Sky blue eyes drifted to his watch, noticing their shift would start in half an hour. The brunet had arrived a bit early, unwilling to not be the first one around. However, the same way, Mike didnât want his co-worker to wander the location alone, even if it would be before the animatronics were supposed to move.
In short? Mike leant against the wall beside the door of the Pizzeria, his usual white shirt visible under his open purple jacket. It was obvious he was the second night guard, and quite possibly, that he was waiting for his co-worker. He didnât look worried to be alone out there either, even seeming at peace in the middle of the night.
A blond approached, and Mike showed a faint smile. Deep down, past experiences made him wonder: would this young man be the alternate of someone he knew? Or was this location different enough?
âHello there.â Mike straightened as he greeted the other male. âI guess youâre the night guard thatâll work with me?â He doubted someone else had approached at random, but who knew. Heâd seen enough weird thing, after all.
June of 1987, an abnormally humid Monday evening.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, Jeremy had hoped that by focusing on the more insignificant details of the night ahead would somehow help to temper the burning anxiety that had started to build up inside of him a few hours prior. Unfortunately, he had once again grossly underestimated his own capacity for unbridled apprehension and was still fumbling around helplessly with his tie in the middle of his college dorm room an hour later than he had initially planned.Â
Tonight was his first night working the night shift at the newly reopened Freddy Fazbearâs Pizza. While it certainly hadnât been his first choice for a part-time job as a student, the advantages had been incredibly appealing at the time - the new location was close enough to campus that he could rely on his bike for transportation, working nights ensured that it wouldnât conflict with any of his classes, and, most of all, the environment was already familiar to him, despite the melancholy memories it brought with it. The need for a bit of extra income in mind, he had written down the number on the help wanted sign plastered in the front window without much further thought, making the call with the assumption that heâd be turned away on the spot only to be hired immediately over the phone and promptly told that he would begin first thing the following week.Â
And now here he was, one foot out the door, a black tie hanging haphazardly from his shirt collar and his sandy brown hair a complete mess at 11:15 PM.Â
Glancing at his watch, he groaned in exasperation, giving up on salvaging his appearance and closing the door behind him, turning the key in the lock before placing it back in his pants pocket. Another minute wasted groping around in the dark to unchain his bicycle, he was finally out of the campus proper and onto the side streets heading towards his new job.
It had been nearly five years since Jeremy had stepped foot inside of the family pizzeria. He had many fond memories of frequent visits to the old location when he was younger, carefree days spent with Vincent and the children, the closest thing he ever had to family. A peaceful time brought to an abrupt end by the tragic death of one of their own. Vincent had changed after the loss of his sister becoming distant and withdrawn until one day he had just... vanished. No matter how long he would wait on the street corner they had been meeting up at for years, he never saw Vincent or any of the other kids again, the pizzeria shutting its doors soon after.Â
He wondered if part of him was hoping that by returning to the last place heâd seen the man, location change aside, that he might have a chance to see Vincent once more, foolish as it was. Even as the years began to pass, a new life forced onto him in place of the one that had been torn away from him that day, he had continued to hold onto any fraction of hope he could manage. Heâd do anything to go back to those days, to be together with the person who had given him a reason to live in the first place again.Â
If only he knew how close he really was at that moment.Â
Clutching the brakes, he pulled up in front of the new location, much larger than the one he remembered, and unmounted his bike, propping it up against the side of the building where he would easily be able to find it in the morning once his shift had ended. Walking over towards the large double doors that served as the entrance, he paused. He looked down at his attire, giving himself a quick once over. He looked like he had just crawled out of bed - his tie was knotted awkwardly, the grey dress shirt that served as the uniform untucked on one side, and his unruly mop of hair sticking up in every direction imaginable. Quickly tucking his shirttail back into his trousers, he did his best to flatten his hair back down before walking the rest of the short distance, squinting into the darkness to try and get a better view.Â
His eyesight not what it used to be, it wasnât until he was almost right next to the door that he noticed the presence of someone else casually leaning against the hard surface. He had involuntarily jumped when the other figure began to move, startled by its appearance. He could have sworn heâd be the only one here tonight. A voice traveled through the crisp night air, directing a question at him that he had to take a moment completely process.
Sighing with relief once he had hopefully made sense of the situation, he chuckled nervously. Theyâd hired two night guards? Although strange, the mere fact that he wouldnât be alone in an empty restaurant for six hours was enough to release some of the tension in his shoulders. He brought one arm up to hold the other in place against his torso, suddenly extremely self-conscious of his haggard appearance.
âUm, I-I suppose I am. Iâm J-Jeremy Fitzgerald.â His response sounded quiet and uneasy even to his own ears. â T-Tonightâs my f-first night here.â
