Fuck. Am I the only person who thinks gagging a lady well is a love language??
So here we are at last. The infamous drowning scene. We’re not actually going to get to the drowning itself today, because the part where Jafar’s guards grab and bind Aladdin is one of the best scenes you’ll see of the entire process of someone being grabbed and bound. We also see Abu nearby in a net while Aladdin himself is bound with heavy duty cuffs and chains and his protests are stifled with an over-the-mouth gag. (Yes, I know over-the-mouth gags don’t really do anything in real life, but they’re aesthetically pleasing.) I really especially like the frame where Aladdin is almost completely subdued and Jafar just slams his staff down on the ground just in front of his face, driving home the danger that he’s been captured by the villain. And then, of course, Aladdin gets bonked on the head and thrown off a cliff.
I love the pleading look on Aladdin’s face, and how the gag drapes down as he looks upwards.
Struggling… Imagine how terrified Gagbooboo was. Thick shackles gripping his wrists and ankles, and a huge iron ball dragging him steadily down. Yet he still struggles valiantly, grunting heroically through his gag.

Where it all began for me
Genuinely I could read 1000 kidnapping scenes and never grow tired of it
The sheer helplessness that comes with having your hands tied/cuffed behind your back, leaving the front of your body completely exposed, vulnerable
Ah hello whump community, I’m glad you found this post to your liking

Daphne could barely keep up with the rest of the gang. They decided she should stay bound and gagged until the mystery was finished.
When did it begin?
idk somewhere around here?
