“I’m not jealous!” The female huffed, staring at the younger girl. Most of the time, Ahra was a calm and collected individual-- Alright, that wasn’t necessarily true, but she was definitely a nice individual. Even if something upset her or made her feel any other emotion than happiness, she knew how to keep it hidden. Except... for now. Staring at the other female’s bad, she let out a sigh. “Where did you even get that? I heard it was limited edition! They only made like fifty of them!”

☆ ┇ When David strolled around in public, in the middle of the city by himself, he didn’t try bring himself much attention. It happened once in awhile that people would recognise him mostly because of his videos that he makes on YouTube. So whenever meeting someone he tried to be as polite as he possibly could be even if he wanted to be alone at the moment. He stood out a bit more from everybody else on the street since he was only wearing black. His wardrobe didn’t contain much colorful clothes. When he heard someone calling for him he raised a brow starting to look around until he spotted the female that spoke to him. He bowed his head to show his appreciation. “Oh thank you.” He said with a soft smile back at her feeling a bit shy not sure exactly what to say but it did made him happy. “It’s nice to meet you…?”

“Oh-- Ahra! Song Ahra!” She chirped, nodding her head a bit. “Ah, that was weird-- Sorry for just pouncing on you like this!” It only now just dawned on her that she was a complete stranger to David, and her introduction was a rather strange one to give to someone you had never met. “Let me explain-- I create webcomics-- My genres are usually horror, or supernatural-- dark stuff like that! And sometimes, when I can’t think of a good scenario for a place or whatever, I watch your videos, and they help me think of something to get my story going.” The explanation was rather drawn out, but she hoped it made sense to him. “Ah... Does that make me seem a little less strange? You know us ‘writer-types’... we’re always the weird ones, huh..”

“Do you... want me to leave?” Ahra asked, looking curiously at the female with a camera in her hands. The girl had always been curious, which was both a blessing and a curse. It was a blessing because it helped her learn new things-- but it was a curse because it often got her involved in thing she really shouldn’t have been sticking her nose into in the first place. “Am I in your shot or something? I’d be more than happy to get out, if you need me to!”

something like this is bound to happen. he should have expected it, and perhaps he did, but not yet. not now. always years from now– always another day. yet, here she is, in the flesh– the same grin she’s always worn adorning her expression. he could feel his heartbeat stopping, even just for a second. “oh–” although he smiles, something tightens in his stomach– how she could be doing so well all these years– without him. it should be a relief– and it is, but something about it still hurts.

“er, yeah. sure. you– know about me?” tugging his facemask down to cover his chin instead, he tucks his hands in his pockets as he ambles beside her, “ah, what about you though? i tried to message you after high school, but i couldn’t reach you for some reason. what have you been doing?”

“Yeah, I know about you! I tried to keep up with you even while I was gone-- for the record, you were always my favorite in your group.” She grinned mischievously, reaching out to lightly tap his nose with her finger. Humming happily to herself, she continued walking down the path, never straying too far away from the boy. Ahra wasn’t going to lie, this meeting was a little awkward. Jaewon had been her best friend all throughout high school, and had stood by her side, but as soon as they had graduated, she had left. Jaewon was always so kind to her, but she didn’t return the favor. She was not a good friend to him. And Ahra had always felt guilty about the fact.

“Ah, I left to go study in the states, remember? I had to get a new phone and stuff... and then I got really busy with my school work so I stopped really checking any social media...” She trailed off, nodding a bit. Yes, that was a good explanation as to why she just suddenly dropped off the face of the planet. “I only came back to Korea recently, you know! After my mom-- After the thing happened to my mom--”

“Um, sir? I think you dropped this!” Jogging to catch up to the male, Ahra held out a wallet in her hands, pushing it out towards the black-haired male. She never understood why boys kept their wallets in their pockets. Didn’t that just make it easier for the object to be stolen? Or for example, lost, like the incident that had just occured? “Don’t worry, I didn’t take anything out! You can double check if you want to!”

Ahra was never the type to just approach a celebrity in public. At least-- That was what she told herself. Truth be told, she was very much the kind to do that. Due to her appearance being somewhat unknown in her field of work, the girl had never quite grasped what it was like to have unwanted attention. Hence her situation now. She didn’t know if the male was okay with her approaching him so casually, but her brain didn’t process any possible consequences before she started speaking. “Hey! Hey, I know you!” She called out to the male a little ways in front of her, “You run that YouTube channel I like! So cool! I get so much inspiration for my comics from your videos, you know that?”

“Jaewon? Is that you?” Grinning broadly, the girl made her way over to the male, waving to catch his attention. Even though they hadn’t seen each other in a while, if there was one face she could pick out among a crowd, it was his. Once she arrived by his side, she flashed him another large grin, before reaching out and lightly punching his shoulder. “Ah~! Look at you! I didn’t expect to run into you here! I heard you became an idol? Well, aren’t you cool, Mr. Big-Shot? Come on, come on! My favorite boba place is just around the corner! We gotta catch up!!”

“Could you be a little more careful?” Ahra huffed, staring at the male who just brushed past. Granted, the mix-up probably wasn’t his fault, but when Ahra was working on sketches, she hated being interrupted. All the male had done was bump slightly into the table she was working out, but even that miniscule jolt caused her to create a rather apparent stray line on the figure she was currently working on. “Ah-- Now I have to start over... This sucks...”

“It’s not-- that bad is it?” The girl asked, staring at the other woman’s scraped knee. Ahra had been out on a run, and being the clumsy girl she was, accidentally bumped into the other, causing the stranger to go tumbling to the ground. “Aish... I’m so sorry about this-- Let me take you to a bathroom, and help you wash that off-- Please don’t sue me--”
