it's crazy Palestinians don't just have the 'burden of proof' but also have to act a certain way, say certain things, in order to even maybe get a donation. Maryam (vetted by @gaza-evacuation-funds here as family #6) has been struggling to take care of so many children, including a baby boy a few months old, by herself. her husband is at extreme risk of infection every single day because they cannot afford to get him his first dose of antibiotics.

she has just been on tumblr for a month and tumblr has already shadowbanned her twice. she now doesn't even have her own voice to advocate for her young daughter, her ailing husband, nor her nieces and nephews who literally lost EVERYTHING from a stable home to their parents.

i don't care if it's "annoying" to see the same post on your dash. this young mother would literally not be able to ensure her children and her husband survive without necessary funds. this is lifesaving money. there are reblogs but if you can even afford to donate €5, it would drastically change this family's daily lives.

As you must know by now, the living conditions in northern Gaza are particularly dire. The prices for basic necessities are very high and diseases and famine have been present for many months now.

This is where Ola (@olagaza), a mathematics teacher, is living with her family. They are suffering everyday due to the desastruous situation, every day can be their last.

I am especially worried for Ola as no one is consistently posting about her and following her campaign. Without a proper support, her fundraiser has been stagnating and she has been losing hope.

If no one is posting about her campaign and supporting her regularly, she will not get enough funds to even survive.

This is an ask for help, not only to share this post and donate if you can, but also to adopt her fundraiser if possible or at least to give her the attention her and her family deserves.

I'm seeing so many palestinian fundraisers that are getting completely abandoned by people the moment they meet a short term goal or a goal they need to extend, if not a bit before. This can't keep happening, especially when one of the reason they need to extend their goal is because fundraising is taking so much time and the prices in Gaza are only going up. Making them wait even more will only exacerbate the problem.

These last few weeks, the complacency towards campaigns has been getting worse and worse and I don't know why. I hope everyone reading this realise palestinians have been constantly victims of bombings, shootings, malnutrition and diseases for close to A YEAR now. This should not ellicit apathy at the amount of suffering we're seeing from them everyday but the opposite! We should keep helping even more!

When the US and other western countries are more willing to give weapons to Israel than we are to donate $5 to a palestinian family, what does it say about us?

Hello Dear,

We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.

Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.

Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.

We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us.
