“Going to dinner alone is a bit of a bummer for me.”
“Who said alone?”
“I guess. Which is sort of ridiculous because I’ve never even been late to class before. But I guess I could see their point if more teachers did the same.”
“Yeah, they’re all double standards and that, but if you’ve not done anything wrong then shouldn’t matter.”
“Sure, they have it. Doesn’t mean it’s any good, though. And there’s a Mexican place just off campus that I’ve been dying to go to!”
“No one’s stopping you, why not go get one?”
Stacy just stared at the boy while he talked, finding that she didn’t care much at all as to why he hadn’t had any in a while. Instead of responding to him, the blonde just stood up, shouldered her purse, and started walking toward the girl’s dorms. Maybe he’d catch on, or maybe he’d just think she was being incredibly rude. She couldn’t care any less at his choice, though it was nice to have someone to smoke with.
Aiden raised a brow as she just walked away, and once he realised that she was headed back to her room he kicked off the bench, shoving his hands into his pockets as he galloped forward to catch her up. “I’m Aiden,” He told her, “You been here long or what?” She didn’t seem that chatty, but he figured that he should try anyway.
Stacy looked at the boy with heavy lids, and watched as he sat down on the back of the bench beside her. “Yes, it appears that way,” she gave a coy grin and tapped her fingers on the arm rest of the bench. “Need a high now, or something?” The blonde asked, leaning forward, elbows resting on her knees as she looked over her shoulder back at him. “I could hook you up for now.”
Aiden’s head tipped back and he groaned, “Yes, if you’re offering.” He twisting to face her a little, “It’s been like, three days since my last joint what with the plane and getting here and then the teachers were hanging around tryna show me around the dorms and all that.” He moaned, it was usually a daily routine, at least on the one his dad wasn’t hanging around harassing him about it.
“Weed?” Stacy arched a brow at the boy, slightly amused. “Well, I’ve got weed,” she told him, sitting back against the garden bench she’d been people watching from. “Might have kept the number of the guy who sold it to me,” Stace added, looking out at a sickeningly sweet couple walking down the path on the other side of the statues.
“Ah,” Aiden let out a big breath and went over to her, sitting on the back of the bench with his feet beside her. “Well it looks like you’re all I need.” He let out a boisterous laugh and rested his hands beside him on the wood. Aiden looked around grinning, he’d done well considering she was the first person he’d talked to and he already had a possible dealer.
“The cafeteria food is just making me sad. You know what I could really go for? A burrito.”
“They have literally everything here love.”
“Oh,” Stacy nodded in understanding. “Well, if you want danger, I suggest the alley between the bowling alley and the Blue Corn Moon tattoo shop in town. I heard that someone being mugged there last week,” the blonde gave a crooked smirk, looking up at the boy from under her fringe. “Don’t suppose you’re talking about literal danger, though? What’re you looking for?”
Aiden laughed loudly before shaking his head, “Nah, nah not looking to get murdered in an alley.” He leaned in a bit closer to be discreet, and to get closer to her. “Looking for weed love, and anything harder if they’ve got it.” He’d taken a chance telling her, but then, there was no way she was a cop and he doubted she’d rat him out considering how quickly she’d shown her bedroom.
“I’m sure you will, but…” Stacy frowned slightly, wracking her brains for the word and meaning, and felt her confidence slipping. “Skeevier?” She repeated, her French lilt hovering on the question. “I don’t know that word.”
“Skeevier, dodgy, rough, dangerous, somewhere I could pick something up..?”

“Maybe. I’ve never tried. Still, it’s ridiculous.”
“Maybe lots of people do and that’s why they can’t trust you.”
“Café is over there, library is down that path, classrooms are in that direction, and my bedroom is that top window over there.” Stacy nodded to her dorm pointedly before turning back to the boy and staring him head on.
“Well I’ll definitely be using that last one, often, but I was hoping for the skeevier parts of town.”
“On what planet do teachers need a note before they let you make up a test. Like? I literally live here. I’m pretty sure someone would know if I was just skipping class.”
“I don’t know, it’s probably easy to sneak out.”
