I am so excited for netflix's new show, the body, but I am already so fucking pissed with the way they're treating it. Like why can't we ever give a wlw show a fucking chance I am so tireddddddd 😭😭😭. Like this is a horror thriller show and the girls have a Halloween costumes, why is the drop date in November????? Like its a perfect show for halloweekend. And its not even like a good date in November. Its not right after Halloween when people are still feeling the spirit and its not close enough to Thanksgiving when people have time off. Its on a random ass Wednesday??? Like whhyyyyyyy??? I feel like the perfect date would be like a week before Halloween to drive up attention and then have like a nice little watch on Halloween but instead its on a Wednesday in November. Like it hasn't even come out and im already tired. We literally have to fight tooth and damn nail to get anything sapphic and this show is just another example of how wlw media is treated. We don't even have a teaser or anything like maybe make a cute little quiz about which characters you'd be or like mood boards so people could be attracted to the aesthetic. But all we got was a couple photos for a show coming out in three months. But fucking off campus and my life with the flop boys gets 11 different seasons 😐. I AM SOOOOOOO SICK. Today is the first day the border with Egypt has opened on a trial basis.

We do not know if it will remain open.

But for the first time since the war began, there is a fragile chance.

A chance to seek proper medical care for my father.

My father has been ill since the beginning of the war.

He has been living on painkillers while his condition worsened.

Doctors now say he urgently needs advanced medical tests

and surgery on the arteries leading to his brain.

If the border remains open, we may finally be able to find treatment outside Gaza.

If it closes again, this chance may disappear.

At the same time, my family and I still have no source of income.

We are struggling every day to afford food, water, electricity, and basic necessities.

Medical care, travel, and treatment bring additional costs we cannot manage alone.

It is about timing.

It is about not missing the only window we may have to save my father’s life.

The UN warned that rising attacks by illegal Israeli settlers and ongoing demolitions are forcing large-scale displacement of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. According to OCHA, 818 Palestinians were displaced this month, including 688 from eight communities due to settler attackd and 130 due to demolitions. The Ras Ein al’Auja Bedouin community near Jericho was completely emptied following repeated settler attacks. The UN also reported a surge in demolitions in Eastern parts of Jerusalem, reaching the highest level in nearly two decades. Settler attackd intensified since October 2023, as the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements.

By everyone scrolling past? Complain about morality OCD and compassion burnout all you want. My friend Zeina’s family survived the bombing, but they are not safe.

Even after the so-called ceasefire, their lives are still hanging by a thread. At any moment I am not speaking to Zeina, it is possible that she has no food, no shelter, no safety this is what “after the war” looks like in Gaza.

Think about living with ruins instead of homes, fear instead of stability, and the echo of everything they lost. There’s no “getting used to” that as your constant reality.

So when I ask you to reblog this post, think about the lack of effort it would take to flick your thumb and realize it could still be saving the lives of 14 people, affected by destruction and trauma far beyond what you could possibly imagine on your own.
