I know Iām gorgeous and extremely fascinating, but itās kinda creepy.

She looked up from her phone before setting it down in her lap, eyebrows raised.Ā Iām sorry. Did you say something, or are you just staring creepily?
He chuckled.Ā Just watching.Ā
Aryana laughed, nodding. āThat does sound like a boring day. Especially the library part. Although I amĀ so excited to see what books your going to try and shove down my throat this week,ā she teased before taking another bite of her food and shrugging her shoulders. āI spent some time with Daddy at the hotel, then I went and got my nails done.ā Smirking, she wiggled her fingers, showing off her nails.
"I don't shove them down your throat. I gently push them. I wouldn't want you to choke, mon ange." He chuckled, shaking his head. He barely glanced at her nails while he took another bite of his food. "Cute."
"Thank you." She smiled up at him lightly, before pulling out her food and a set of chopsticks. She didnāt bother to move from her spot on the couch as she started eating. When he sat down next to her, she draped her legs over his lap. "How was your day?"
He grabbed his own bag and sat down next to her, lifting his arms up to let her get herself situated before placing his arms down on her shins. He pulled out his wooden utensils and became eating. "Boring. Dad was in the shop, so he did most of the work. Stopped by he library and got some new books." He was always trying to get her to read some. "What about you?"
I will save you from yourself.
At this point, I couldnāt care less. Iām so hungry, Iād eat anything.Ā
He handed her a bag and leaned down, kissing her cheek. "Here."Ā
Thank God. Iām starving.Ā
I got us Chinese. It's nothing special.Ā
