Fireflight has made contact
"Okliedoklie!"
He starts out slow, and begins picking up speed. Upon achieving lift, he arcs upward, nearly into the clouds, then levels out and slows down a bit.
"You okay? That seemed a little turbulent to me… Was I too fast?"
She has to tighten her grip for the initial climb up, but once they make it above the clouds, she’s able to relax just a smidge. She sighs in relief. “I’m great. Your speed was fine. It’s just…Grounder. We’re not exactly known for enjoying being in the sky. The idea of falling is too scary. We don’t have wings to catch us, you know?”
"Well, you don't have to worry about falling. I'd never let you fall. Hey, I could be your wings!" He thought for a second on how deep that sounded, and then started to go off a tangent...
Nope, not going to get distracted. Friend on board. FOCUS.
"So, liking the view from up here?"
Fireflight has made contact
"Perfect, just don’t let go. For kinda obvious reasons."
He slowly turned about 90 degrees right, checked all his altmode’s instruments for no discernible reason, and his engines started whining to life. He was trying to be as dramatic as possible, but still seem perfectly natural. “You ready for take off, friend?”
Subconsciously and on simple instinct, she clamps her legs a little tighter around him. “Yeah, I think so. Should be good for take-off.”

He nods, and heads out after her. It was stupid. Everyone knows that flying is not allowed in the Ark. Or at least, that’s what everyone specifically told him.
He had followed her most of the way, watching her feet so he wouldn’t get distracted by anything. Once he saw the outside world, he rushed ahead and transformed right outside the entrance. “Ready to go when you are!”
Moonracer climbs on top of Fireflight as carefully as she can, trying not to hurt him. She straddles his nosecone and does her best to secure herself without causing him discomfort or pain. “Is this okay?”

aimless-aerialbot knocked on your berthroom door.
"Red Alert… Red Alert…" That name sounded familiar, but Fireflight wasn’t quite sure… "Is he a red and white guy, ‘bout yay high? Scared that everyone’s watching him?" He gestured to around the height of the Autobot’s security director.
Hotshot nodded. “Yup. That’s him.” He replied, pulling out a cleaning cloth to begin wiping his work bench down. “Not sure how he becomes a doc bot in another universe.”
His brow furrowed, and he sat down on the floor just to process Red Alert being a medic.
"I... Wha? But he's so... Jumpy. And that one time he was with Starscream... A medic? Red Alert? Was Inferno his aide or something? Because that I can understand, but medic Red Alert, nuh-uh. Impossible."
Fireflight has made contact
"Hmm… Maybe… You can climb onto my jet mode?"
He shrugged. “I really haven’t got any idea how to go about doing this…”
"That sounds like an idea to me, though," she says. "And a sensible one, at that. Okay, so should we go outside before you transform then? Er, don’t answer; that was a stupid question. Let’s just go." She heads out into the hall before him.

His face brightened up when she mentioned Skydive. “Oh! Skydive’s on the same side of the combiner as me! I form the arm, he forms the leg.” Realizing he had almost made a scene, he settled down a bit. “Uh, yeah, let’s! Let’s go.”
"Okay! So, uh…" She finds herself suddenly uncharacteristically shy and uncertain. "How exactly are we doing this? You said you’d give me a lift, but I don’t know…Should I grab onto you or climb onto your back, or…?"
"Hmm... Maybe... You can climb onto my jet mode?"
He shrugged. "I really haven't got any idea how to go about doing this..."
Cause everyone’s doing a SG image.
Everyone being Halo and Phy.
| He looks like one of the Stormtroopers now... You know, the water-shooting cars from Gen 1? |
aimless-aerialbot knocked on your berthroom door.
"Huh. That’s pretty weird." He tapped his chin, thinking. "I wonder what evil you and me are like. Do you have the sweetest paintjob in the room still, or are you covered in the Energon of your enemies? And am I still red, or am I purple…?"
Hotshot shrugged. “As far as I know I only exist in one other universe…some place where Red Alert is a…Medic instead of an officer and he’s blue of all colors.” He replied, moving over to put his buffer away.
"Red Alert... Red Alert..." That name sounded familiar, but Fireflight wasn't quite sure... "Is he a red and white guy, 'bout yay high? Scared that everyone's watching him?" He gestured to around the height of the Autobot's security director.
Fireflight has made contact
Fireflight waves back and looks around. “I don’t think I’ve ever been in this room before…” When he reached her, he stood up straight and held out his hand. “Great to finally see you, uh… In the flesh, or something…”
Gosh, she was pretty.
"That’s a shame. Hanging around here is a great way to meet mecha." She beams and shakes his hand firmly. "Nice to meet you. I think I met one of your friends. Skydive? Anyhow, it’s awesome to see Autobot flight-builds other than Powerglide." Her eyes twinkle in amusement at his slight awkwardness.
"So, shall we…?"
His face brightened up when she mentioned Skydive. "Oh! Skydive's on the same side of the combiner as me! I form the arm, he forms the leg." Realizing he had almost made a scene, he settled down a bit. "Uh, yeah, let's! Let's go."
Oooo, shiny! | Closed |
Zooming along, not quite above the clouds, but still pretty far up there, Fireflight began pondering the big questions.
Who is he? Where did he come from? Who can he trust?
Fortunately, he knew all of those already. That’s when he noticed something beneath him. Something shiny!
He cut his engines and dropped, nearly slamming into the ground, but transformed at the last second, and lowered himself slowly to the ground. Sadly, he couldn’t find it, but he did see… An organic?
She hissed out of defense as her eyes went fully jet black, she stared up at him, her bow and arrow already drawn and pointed directly up at him, she was merely defending her self and taking precautions. “Who are you?” She spoke as her wings flapped and she flew up to the other, now they were eye to eye, her wings slowing down as she seemed to hover in the air. There was a necklace around her neck, made of silver, which was the shiny thing that fireflight had seen from above.
He watched her fly up to him and waved. “Oh, hi, I’m Fireflight! Nice wings, by the way. Honestly, I prefer jet wings, but you really rock the angelic look!”
Then he pointed at her necklace. “And what’s that shiny thing?”
She lowered her bow before putting it around her shoulder loosely as she no longer saw him as a threat, she gave him a polite smile as she bowed mid air as her wings continued to flutter with ease, keeping her in the same position as before. She chuckled softly “I’m not a /full/ angel..i’m part angel part demon..a hybrid..the spawn of heaven and hell..and this?” She blinked and picked up the necklace gently with a smile “It’s a charm of..sorts”
His eyes widened in awe. He'd never met a mystical creature before. At least, not that he could remember.
"A part angel, part demon... That's also pretty cool! And is it a magic charm? Or a lucky charm? I hear they're mystically scrumptious or something."
aimless-aerialbot knocked on your berthroom door.
He walked in, but was very confused by what Hotshot had said. “Where ‘Bots are… Bad… Well, I know Brawn and Slag can get a little cranky, but… Bad?” He raised his hands up in the air for emphasis. “Like Omega Supreme and Metroplex tearing apart New York, or Defensor being Offensor, dogs and cats living together, pink alchemy, and mass hysteria?!”
He calmed down a bit before adding, “Because I honestly can’t imagine that happening ever.”
It was Hotshot’s turn to stare at the other Mech as though he’d just spoken gibberish..which in this case, he had. See, Hotshot had memory problems and names like Omega Supreme and Metroplex didn’t register with him—at least not on a conscious level.
"It’s a strange universe..but yeah…basically you take ‘Cons and ‘Bots and just change the insignias."
"Huh. That's pretty weird." He tapped his chin, thinking. "I wonder what evil you and me are like. Do you have the sweetest paintjob in the room still, or are you covered in the Energon of your enemies? And am I still red, or am I purple...?"
aimless-aerialbot started following you
«What do you want, Autobot?»
"Oh, nothing, just that you’re a jet, I’m a jet… We can do jet things."
Squints loudly.
«Are you challenging me to a race or a dogfight?»
"No, not really. I meant just chilling out on runways together or scaring the lubricant out of refuel plane pilots. Y'know, fun stuff!"

Skyyyydiiiive!
She smiled upon seeing the young Aerial. “Hey there Fireflight. How’s it going?”
"It’s going alright, buddy."
He tilted his helm, confused.
"Hey, you sound different… You get your voice damaged or something?"
"No, I’m fine. It’s just I’m a femme for a while. I’VE BEEN A FEMME FOR A COUPLE DAYS!!” Skydive didn’t seem happy at all.
"Oh… Um… Well, look on the bright side! You can compare what it’s like to be a femme to being a… Uh, not-femme, for your research.”
He smiled at her and added.
"And if it’s any consolation, you look really nice today."
"I guess I could." Skydive was taken back with what Fireflight said next. No bot had said she looked nice, ever. "Thanks ‘Flight."
Fireflight gave his brother, er, sister-in-arms a double thumbs up. “You’re welcome, Sky! Say, if we combine while you’re a femme, does that make us a transgender Transformer?”
That was something Skydive hadn’t thought of. “I think so.”
"Huh. And maybe we can finally beat Menasor and Bruticus in the Miss Cybertron Pageant, too!" Now he was just trying to cheer up his chum by any means necessary. "Those two have had it too good for too long in the Swimsuit category..."

ignore Looks up from new invention now working on and puts the wrench down and smiles “hi names Nikki and you are?”
He looks down at the little lady and waves. “Hey, name’s Fireflight. What’s up?”
waves back”nice to meet you FireFlighkt, and it’s going great just working on a new invention that’s all.”pats the invention causing a few sparks to pop up and jumps back a little dye to the sparks”Slag! And I’m not gooing to work on it in a while great.”
He took two steps closer to inspect the sparking husk himself. "Maybe I can help. I was built by hand, so I have some experience with this. Kind of. What... Uh... What's it supposed to do when it's done?"
good evening aimless-aerialbot
Weeeellll… That, ah, almost happened once. But yeah, I highly recommend using them. It’s like fire and forget, and you don’t really have to aim!
Fire and forget sounds an awful lot like how I handle a gun anyway. Probably not for the best, then. I’ll leave the pretty fire-making up to you!
You sure? It’s really cooooll~! I’ve got some spare ones on me if you want to try.
Yeah, I’m sure. You keep them and make pretty patterns in the sky. Thank you, though!
Okliedoklie.
So, what do you like to do for fun?
