re: "she's never with her child"
a few weeks ago they were saying that her daughter is CLEARLY fake because every time Amber gets photographed (without her consent), O is with her. Now it's "she's never with her child." i wish they would at least stick to one narrative lmao
they don't make any sense hence i don't take them seriously.
Elliot: The recipe says “beat two eggs”
Noah: Can I use a mallet?
Eli: No. Fight like a man. This is hand to hand combat.
Elliot: Both of you get out
throwback to that time I asked if Corinthian could give blowjobs with his eye-mouths.
the influence we have on each other is absolutely horrendous
What do you mean the latest villain in Nightwing’s solo was in the audience the night Dick’s parents died? Is there anyone in the DC’s universe that was NOT at this show?
I just wanted to do a quick doodle of Jason Todd with Baby Damian. What if he never left the League and Raised Damian?
I miss when listening-devices were her thing, just a purple fly on the wall.
The fact that DC gave Harl/ey Qui/nn a redemption arc but not Talia, someone who was literally raised to kill and never really had a loving family and whos father would literally kill/take over for his gain but still helped Bruce and loves Damian says a lot, sadly
The problem with Harley is that too many excuses are made for her both in and out of universe. Yes I feel pity for her when than Joker slaps her around, but she's still a horrible person who willingly and happily commits tons of crimes with/for him and sometimes ivy too
Yes exactly!! Thank you!
avalance writers on ao3, all creativity should be appreciated, but please stop littering every other characters tag it is so incredibly frustrating

STAR WARS FILM TRIVIA: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999)
George Lucas considered duality to be one of the main themes of the film, as seen in Padmé’s double role as the queen and handmaiden, and Palpatine’s duality. Other examples include the master/appentice relationships between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon and between Darth Sidious and Darth Maul. There is also the symbiotic link between the Gungans and the Naboo.
Until the advent of modern medicine, childbirth was one of the leading causes of death for women; a conservative estimate places the historic rate of maternal mortality at 1 for every 100 births. Even now, at least 800 women die worldwide every day as a consequence of childbirth.
Throughout human history, more women have died giving birth than male soldiers have died in war. As a result, in many places, women had shorter life expectancies than men…
Every woman who dies in childbirth dies as a result of sex with a man. Vaginal intercourse with a man was—and in many places still is—one of the riskiest activities in which any woman could engage. Though the pleasure in the act may have at least occasionally been equal, the risk never was. Women had no more right to refuse their husbands than a low-ranking soldier had to disobey an order from an officer. Tennyson’s famous line applies as much to marital sex for women as it did for British soldiers in Crimea: “yours not to reason why, yours but to do and die.”
Throughout Western culture, when women died in childbirth they died not only as a direct consequence of sex with men, they died giving life to children who would carry their husbands’ name. While even in more violent eras, relatively few husbands would be called upon to lay down their lives for their wives, every pregnant woman knew she stood a fair chance of dying so that her husband’s family’s name could go on. If we look at all of recorded human history and ask “Who died more often for whom?” the evidence is that women made the ultimate sacrifice more frequently…
Maternal mortality rates have plummeted in recent centuries, though they remain stubbornly high in many parts of the world. And despite the epidemic of gun violence in this country, very few men today are called upon to put their bodies between a bullet and the women they love…
It’s time to let go of the myth that men have traditionally endured more physical danger and suffering than women. In Euripedes’ Medea, the title character remarks that she “would rather stand three times with a shield in battle than give birth once.” For all women, that’s a historically honest and accurate risk assessment.
We may not have a Tomb of the Unknown Mother at Arlington, but the suffering of women’s bodies has been at least as important in guaranteeing our collective survival as men. In any discussion of sacrificial heroism, that truth deserves remembering.

also, throughout the world and since the beginning of times, women found ways to prevent/terminate pregnancy, and they were also the ones to pass down the knowledge on how to most safely carry a pregnancy to term and give birth. these practices and knowledge has and continues to be actively suppressed by men, who founded modern gynecology on the backs of enslaved and colonized women.
Just now in the news I watched a weekly news commentator talk about our aging population, and every aspect of why there are fewer and fewer births was discussed including how without the influx of foreigners things would be even worse… everything was analyzed except for the main elephant in the room, which is why women are choosing to not have kids anymore. The commentator is of course a man.
