Lately I got "Herbier de prison" (jail herbarium) from my local library. Rosa Luxembourg was an activist and autor from Poland born in 1871 and murdered in 1919. She was incarcerated multiple time and during her time in jail she worked on an herbarium with plants she got with the help of friends from the outside. She was very brave yet she was able to pay close attention to every living beings.

I managed to find a live Mandrake because the one I used to grow died and I missed it. I received only the roots but look, It's coming !! I can't wait

I used to grow a Mandrake plant, unfortunately it passed away but I kept the dried roots and I used it for my doll. Since Mandrake roots sometimes have a human like shape I felt it was perfect.
