     “you suppose?? -- fuck..” percy takes in the scene, fingertips combing gently through his hair. he doesn’t have a clue what is going on. perseus figures macramé has something to do with the tangled mess she’s talking about, but he’s not actually sure. honestly he doesn’t really get it. was it supposed to be some weird kind of art?? were you supposed to lay it on a couch or hang it?? it was definitely a style choice, that’s for sure. “i can barely see you under all this.. what is this even?? rope??” percy avoids the question, mainly because he doesn’t know what he’d do with one of them.

“do you feel it?” noor leaned over one of the loveseats that was being occupied in the lobby, her hair hanging over them as a grin started to spread on her face, “spring. the sun is back, do something with me?” half an offer, almost a demand as she eagerly waited their response.

     his gaze is quickly blocked as long hair cascades around him. perseus’ instinct is to duck away from them, in fact, he’s just about to get up from the chair -- someone invading his personal space quite like that was a rare occurrence in this building. once he notices who it is, he can audibly sigh with relief, “fuck noor..” he mutters, shaking his head. “thought i was about to be dragged away by the ring or something.” percy leans back in his chair some, lips pursing as his eyes flicker to the outdoors. he hums, “what is it you have in mind??”

    sabrina had just gotten home from a painstakingly long shift at work and due to the desperation to be in her pajamas and not be social for the rest of the day, she quickly changed into a pair of sweat shorts and a baggy t shirt, threw her hair into a high ponytail, and served herself a bowl of cap’n crunch to snack on. at the sound of a knock on the apartment door, the blonde let out a groan as she headed for the door, not bothering to pause her music as she was planning on this being a short interaction. to say her expression wasn’t the most pleasant would be an understatement, especially compared to the one that took its place once she’d registered who was at the door. “sorry, what?” brina asked, arms crossing over her chest. blue eyes flickered from perseus’ face to the package in his hand – she couldn’t tell for sure, but she thought she could make out her own name and address labeled on it. “why do you have that?” she asked, brows knitted together.

    he scoffs, eyes quickly rolling to follow. the male was hoping to pull a smile from the other at the very least. it’s obvious sabrina can’t even manage that though. now perseus didn't have the time to deal with snarkiness of any kind today. he’s going to grow impatient very quickly, lifting the package higher in hope that she would take it off his hands. “was delivered to me.” he says simply, because it was. perseus anticipates this is going to be the part that she tries to twist it in that he somehow intercepted the package and took it. ridiculous. sabrina liked to twist his actions into something much worse than what was intended. and to think, he was bringing this to her door out of the pure goodness of his heart!! he sighs loudly, shifting from one foot to the other. “are you going to take it or not?? says expedited on it -- i’m assuming it’s important then??”

she can’t help but to playfully scoff at his comment, shaking her head in faux disbelief. “of course, that’s the color of money, i should have known you’d be okay with that.” she teases, rolling her eyes at him lightly before her head tilts to the side, a slightly devilish smirk pulling on the corners of her lips. “you’d be begging for more than god, percy.” there’s no hesitation in her words, no sign she didn’t mean them whatsoever, though her features are void of seriousness. “you’re more than welcome to swoop in and be my knight in shining armor anytime you’d like, i won’t say no to that.” olivia replies, patting his leg for a moment. “or i can be your knight in shining armor, whatever the situation is. we both have each other’s backs, yeah?” she told him with a playful grin. though his next words cause her to giggle, brow raising once more. “i don’t know if i’d fully be opposed to that either, but is that your way of telling me that you want to?” olivia replies leaning over to cup percy’s cheek in the palm of her hand. “i seriously was messing around with you, i know that’s not how you are.” she continues, voice just as soft as his as she speaks. though she doesn’t press any further because she doesn’t want things to get to too serious before they have a night out at the gallery. “hey, i like learning about art, it’s interesting and pretty to look at.” she giggles lightly, stepping out of the car, quick to follow behind the other as her fingers reach out to grasp at the material of percy’s sleeve. “yes please, i have a feeling i’m gonna need it.”

       “holy shit, liv..” his shoulders shake with the low chuckle quickly filling the space between them. perhaps it was the time it barely took for her to reply, or it was just the fact that she’s seems quite sure of herself in saying them. the thing is, perseus doesn’t doubt her for a moment. he decides to leave it there, smirking as he diverts his gaze out the window once again. as he watches the city, percy continues to smile into the window. it’s definitely reassuring to hear her confirm what he always stood by. he would take care of her without fail any day, any time that she needed him. it was just the way it worked. he manages a glance her way, offering a genuine smile with a slight nod. “yeah. always.” he adds, hesitantly reaching for her hand to give a small affectionate squeeze. she didn’t have to say shit like that. he didn’t expect her to, but it does mean a lot to him when she does. the male is quick to shrug her off, fingertips tugging her palm from it’s spot pressed to his cheek. “i’m always up for anything -- you know that, liv.” is all he says, in reply. perseus has never been great at hiding his emotions. he always liked to think he was broody and mysterious, and maybe from afar he is, but once you invest even a touch of time in him it’s quick that his layers begin to peel away, wearing his heart on his sleeve. it usually meant people knew exactly when they’d pushed the wrong button, which was quite annoying for the blonde. “i know you didn’t mean anything by it, olivia. it’s honestly fine, okay?” he beeline’s it to the bar, leading olivia there easily. the line not long, but long enough they have to a wait a few minutes. “everything is for purchase too, so if you see something you like you can take it home tonight.” perseus orders himself a bourbon sour, eyes flickering over to liv so she can order something herself. he slides his visa over the counter, leaning against it as their drinks are poured. “s’probably a good thing you needed me. i would have come here alone and been forced to stop and chat to every single one of those middle aged mothers you see over there staring.”
