BIOGRAPHY: Airi was born in London, to her father Colin, and his wife. Everything seemed so wonderful! She was a cute little girl with bright red hair, that seemed to come out of nowhere. But she was a good kid, always loving everything to do with spending time with her father. It didn't matter what he was doing, she wanted to be with him. But when he was busy off at work, she spent time with her mom, learning about all of the girly things. However, that didn't stop her from missing her father. As she got older, she noticed things changing. Her dad spent more and more time away from work and she hated every single second of it.
When she was 10 years old, her parents got divorced. It absolutely tore Airi apart. She hated the idea of her parents splitting up. While they had shared custody of her, it still hurt. She loved having dinners with her parents, spending as much time with both of them as she could. It took years to get used to them being separated.
But one of the biggest ways that Airi distracted herself was with photography. She received a camera for her birthday when she was about seven years old and it completely changed her life. Her camera went everywhere she did. She took pictures of everything and absolutely adored all of it.
She was always a good student, doing well in school, and when she reached sixth form, she did excellently in her A levels. Everyone who knew her knew that photography would her choice for subject. It was obvious.
Airi attended The University of Arts London and learned as much as she possibly could about photography. She did an internship at The Times and impressed them enough for them to hire her for a job.
While in university, Airi learned that she was bisexual after spending nearly three weeks with a girl in one of her classes for a project. They would up spending every waking moment together, ultimately dating for a couple months. The breakup wasn't bad, but they both simply got distracted. It took her about a year longer to find out that proper term to describe her sexuality was pansexual.
None of that bothered her, at all. She loved how she turned out, and loved that she got to stay in London to be close to her parents. Her job at The Times is everything she could want, but she wouldn't mind being promoted to a lead photographer, simply so they'd respect her more. She tries her best to keep her father out of the news, but it doesn't always work out in her favor.
Airi is very sweet and affectionate. She adores spending time outdoors or doing anything that requires a little bit of adrenaline. Due to her reckless nature, she'll do just about anything and actually has sky diving at the top of her bucket list.
HEADCANONS:
Airi's day doesn't start without iced coffee. If she hasn't had her coffee, you better not speak to her. She can be very short with people without caffeine. There are at least ten different mason jars with funky designs, straws, and lids for her morning coffee. She tries to drink it before heading out of the house for the day, but sometimes when in a rush, it comes with her.
Related to her caffeine addiction, if she doesn't have her afternoon tea and snack, she gets very cranky. The snack can change, from either a crumpet, a scone, or a biscuit, but the tea must always be earl grey, with two sugars, no matter what.
Growing up spending time outdoors with a reckless attitude, Airi became quite an adrenaline junkie and loves any kind of activity that raises her serotonin levels. She's the kind of girl that will go stand out in a thunderstorm with a cover on her camera just to try and take pictures of the lightning.
